My cousin‘s poems were the heartbeat of Palestine. Israel killed him but his words live on
Rashad was killed for his talent and inspiration – for daring to be a voice of hope in a world that so desperately needs it. Israel is not just targeting individuals; it is trying to break us as a people, to erase Palestinian culture, identity and existence.
These efforts at erasure have been ongoing for 76 years, since the Nakba. They have targeted our leaders, intellectuals and artists. Indeed, Rashad’s story is not unique: Israel has killed thousands of Palestinians like him, people who dared to dream of a better world, and to use their talents to inspire others.
I don’t know what to say or do in the face of such grief. Rashad shone so brightly. I will not let his memory fade.

Der von uns seit langem in Zeiten des mittlerweile über achtzehnjährigen weltweiten Terrorkrieges beschriebene moralisch-politische Zusammenbruch von Liberalen, Demokraten, Pazifisten, Sozialdemokraten und politischer Linken in Deutschland befindet sich im Endstadium.
Dabei frisst der Linkskörper nicht nur sich selbst. Er frisst auch alle Ideen und Errungenschaften, die er angeblich vertritt. In Wirklichkeit dienen den betreffenden etablierten Apparaten – ob Parteien, Gewerkschaften, “Nichtregierungsorganisationen”, assoziierte Presse und die Myraden von Schnattergruppen – diese Ideen und Errungenschaften nicht als Rechtfertigung, sondern als Nahrung.
Nach allen vermeintlichen Ansprüchen haben sich sämtliche etablierten und populären Organisationen, in Deutschland und in großen Teilen der E.U.-Hegemonie, als bestenfalls wertlos und real als gefährlich entpuppt. Alles Ablenken auf Wanderungsbewegungen, Geschlechterfragen, Abstammung, religiöse Anschauungen und politische Planeten die sich nicht von irgendeiner Sonne diktieren (erschaffen) lassen, taugt nur für Wahnsinnige und Idioten und -innen. Diese werden von der Zombie-Linken als nächste Nahrung bzw Ernährer benutzt, genauso wie alles Lebendige und Ideenreiche was sie in gutem Glauben mitbringen, gerade das Engagment für ihre Umwelt.
Sozialdemokratie, Sozialismus, Pazifismus, Humanismus, klassischer Liberalismus, alles was noch gut und schön ist an diesen und anderen in Hunderten von Jahren von Anderen erkämpften fortschrittlichen Errungenschaften und Gedankengut, bis hin zu Aufklärung, Wissenschaft und Kultur, stehen in Deutschland vor dem Aussterben. Geistig und moralisch droht der Rücksturz ins Mittelalter hinter Galileo Galilei und die Bauernkriege. Das von der Kanzel herabgereichte Dogma wird nachgebetet. Wer widerspricht, ist Ketzer / Ketzerin. Nur stehen statt dem Pfaffen jetzt andere Autoritäten oben auf der Kanzel, die zu einem ewig und unablässlich plappernden Bildschirm geronnen ist, von dem Milliarden von Menschen Stein und Bein schwören würden, dass er gar nicht mit ihnen redet.
Civil Liberties: Restore our Rights
Our administration will make it a top priority to protect and restore the fundamental civil liberties, enshrined in the Bill of Rights, that hold the essence of what America can be. These liberties have endured constant assault for over twenty years, starting with the Bush/Cheney War on Terror, and accelerating in the era of Covid lockdowns.
Freedom of speech is the capstone of all other rights and freedoms. Once a government has the power to silence its opponents, no other right is safe. We will therefore dismantle the censorship-industrial complex, in which Big Tech censors, deplatforms, shadowbans, and algorithmically suppresses any person or opinion the government asks them to. We will respect the right to privacy and freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures, by ending mass surveillance of American citizens and the abuse of civil asset forfeiture. We will make sure that the Covid-era suspension of the right to assembly, trial by jury, and freedom of worship will never happen again. The same for the right to property. During Covid, 3.4 million business were forced to close. Many of them, including 60% of Black-owned businesses, will never reopen.
A Kennedy administration will respect American citizens and stop treating them like suspects and schoolchildren. We will stop manipulating the public with propaganda and targeted leaks. We will never weaponize the law against political opponents, nor hold our own officials above the law. We will return the intelligence agencies to their proper role as protectors not violators of liberty.

Leserbriefe zu „Cancel Culture lebt von der Unterwürfigkeit“
Noch vor einigen Jahren galt es als eine inhaltliche Unterstützung einer Bewegung oder Gruppe, wenn jemand einige ihrer Symbole selbst übernahm. Wer die Rastafaris bei ihrer friedlich kulturellen Identität unterstützen wollte, kaufte sich z.B. eine Platte von Bob Marley und übernahm teilweise Kleidung, Kultur und Frisur als Ausdruck gemeinsamer Haltung gegen Kolonialismus und gegen politische und wirtschaftliche Clans, das alles mit starker religiöser Grundlage.
Das Verbot von Übernahme solcher Äußerlichkeiten zerstört auch die inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung. Eine Übernahme von überlieferten kulturellen Eigenheiten – oder völlig neu entwickelten – hat allerdings die Kulturen in aller Welt aufblühen lassen. Ein Verbot von kulturellen Einflüssen wirkt nicht nur einschränkend, sondern rückschrittlich. Eine Gesellschaft zu bilden wäre nicht möglich, alles beruht auf Übernahmen.
Als weiteres Beispiel im musikalisch-kulturellen Bereich möchte ich die anfängliche Übernahme vom Blues nennen, der seine Ursprünge hat in den afrikanische Sklaven haltenden Südstaaten der USA. Die weltweit berühmtesten Rockbands begannen ihre Karriere mit dem Nachspielen von Traditionals. Ein Großteil der modernen großindustriellen ‘Hits’ ist aus dieser Tradition der Übernahme entstanden.

The Cancellation of Russian Culture
If Germany succumbed to the Nazis, don’t listen to Beethoven; because of Mussolini, cancel Dante and Raphael; if you reject American actions in Vietnam, the Middle East, or anywhere else, no more Thoreau or Emily Dickinson. Digitale Tattoos als Informationsspeicher und mehr werden also entwickelt, während farbige analoge Tattoos verboten und damit kriminalisiert werden. Ist das reiner Zufall, oder ist hier vielleicht doch ein tieferer Zusammenhang zu vermuten?
All das passiert zeitgleich zu der öffentlichen und zugespitzten Diskussion über eine allgemeine Impfpflicht, also einer gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Pflicht für jeden Bürger, sich eine unzureichend erprobte und wahrscheinlich — zumindest für einige Personengruppen — höchst gefährliche chemische Substanz injizieren zu lasse

Unsere Pandemiezeiten rufen geradezu nach dem enthüllenden Wort, verlangen nach komplexen Beschreibungen dessen, was da gerade mit uns passiert. Aber unsere Geistesarbeiter haben sich fast vollzählig in Klausur begeben. Mit dem Plan B aus der Pandemie
Insbesondere unter linken – meist gut abgesicherten – Gruppen, gibt es noch die sogenannte ZeroCovid Bewegung. Es ist die radikalisierte Version der Regierungspolitik. Die Idee ist, so lange im Lockdown zu bleiben, bis man Corona zum Verschwinden bringt. Auch manche Sozialdemokraten liebäugeln damit. Aber der Platz der Sozialdemokratie muss an der Seite derer sein, die unter den Verhältnissen leiden. Und nicht an der Seite derer, die sie aufgrund ihrer privilegierten Situation besonders gut aushalten.
ZeroCovid ist ein Irrweg. Oft aus den besten Absichten, aber doch ein Irrweg. Weil es eine Ignoranz des Sozialen und der Demokratie bedeutet. Die letzten Monate haben gezeigt, dass die Lockdown-Strategie nach einem Jahr Pandemie nicht mehr die erwünschten Erfolge erzielt. Die Menschen können nicht mehr, die Zahlen sinken nicht mehr. Wenn man krampfhaft versucht, die Wirklichkeit an die eigenen Ideen anzupassen, scheitert immer die Idee.

They came to their conclusions by modelling what could happen in the next few months under the vaccine rollout, presenting their findings to Sage on January 14.

“So it seems to me by the time you get to the end of May, no later than that, you should be in a position to get rid of restrictions completely.
