NNA – Nabatieh – At 2:20 pm today, Israeli enemy warplanes launched an air raid targeting the outskirts of the town of Kfar Tebnit, towards the Ali al-Taher Hill.

NNA – The Israeli enemy escalated its attacks this afternoon, targeting a vehicle in the town of Maifadoun with a drone, which bombed the area as residents gathered around, before targeting a second vehicle in the town.
A third vehicle was also targeted in the town of Shoukine, bringing the total number of attacks to three. According to initial reports, four civilians were martyred and others wounded.
New details have also emerged regarding discussions involving Israeli and Lebanese representatives. Reports indicate that Trump proposed a framework in which the Syrian military would play a central role in a future effort to disarm Hezbollah.
The proposal, however, has reportedly faced skepticism from multiple sides. Israeli officials have questioned Syria‘s ability to effectively confront Hezbollah, while Lebanese authorities oppose the presence of foreign troops operating within Lebanon.
“I suggested to Israel to let Syria take care of Hezbollah, because to be honest with you, I think they’d do a better job of doing it,” Trump said. He went on to praise Sharaa, formerly known by his al-Qaeda nom de guerre Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, saying he “has pulled that country together very quickly, he’s very capable, and he’s very good for me. He’s protected everything that I’ve asked for.”
Sharraa and his group of jihadists, known as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), an offshoot of al-Qaeda, took power in Damascus in December 2024, ousting former President Bashar al-Assad. Sharaa has been embraced by Trump and visited the White House despite HTS and affiliated fighters being responsible for massacres of Alawites, Druze, and other minorities in Syria.
US President Donald Trump suggested on Tuesday that Israel allow Syria to “deal with Hezbollah,” claiming Damascus would do a “better job.” The proposal, which Trump has now raised twice this month, touches on some of Lebanon’s deepest anxieties: Syria’s long history of interference in its affairs and the jihadist past of the country’s new rulers.
US President Donald Trump says Benjamin Netanyahu must be „more responsible“ in Lebanon and suggests asking Syria to fight Hezbollah „if Israel can‘t do the job without killing everyone else“.
Mr. Trump said Tuesday that Netanyahu „has to be more responsible with respect to Lebanon.“
„[I] didn‘t like where two hours before we‘re signing the agreement that there was an attack in Lebanon, in Beirut,“ Mr. Trump said Tuesday. He also described the attack as „vicious,“ saying it was „too much.“
But the president added he and Netanyahu have a „great relationship,“ and „we‘re talking about some end details.“
Barak argued that Netanyahu “could sabotage the elections by launching operations in Lebanon that would provoke retaliation from Hezbollah and Iran.
“Netanyahu wants an endless war because he understands that ending it would accelerate his trial,” Barak said. “Just as he obstructed some prisoner-exchange deals (with Hamas), he also blocked the possibility of progress in Lebanon.”
Netanyahu is currently standing trial in Israel on corruption charges and is also wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) since 2024 on allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Behind the scenes: The Israeli military notified the U.S. Central Command shortly before the Beirut strike, Israeli and U.S. officials say.
It is not clear whether the White House gave it a green light.

Several reports are circulating that Israel struck the Beirut‘s southern suburbs, following calls from prominent Israeli officials on attacking the area.
As regional powers are discussing whether or not Lebanon is included in a deal between Iran and the US, this isn’t necessarily a moment of peace here. In fact, it is a moment of danger, just like it was on April 8, when there were discussions on whether or not Lebanon was going to be included in the deal.
The Israeli prime minister and his military made it clear that it would not be, and later that afternoon it turned into the deadliest day of the war as more than 350 people were killed.
Lebanon‘s Health Ministry said the cumulative toll from Israeli attacks between March 2 and June 13 has risen to 3,756 people killed and 11,632 wounded.
The figures were released by the ministry‘s Public Health Emergency Operations Center, which said the numbers reflect the overall casualties recorded during the period.
Ali Badie, the mayor of Ar-Rihan municipality, was killed in an Israeli attack on the area in the Jezzine district of southern Lebanon. Three people were killed in the towns of Deir al-Zahrani and Kafr Reman in Nabatieh District.
Meanwhile, Israeli attacks at dawn demolished homes and government buildings in southern Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil, according to NNA. Later, Israeli attacks hit the towns of Bir Ayshiyeh, Rmeish and Khirbet Selm in Bint Jbeil.
UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said peacekeepers in southern Lebanon continue to observe extensive Israeli military activity, including “high-density armoured movements, large-scale engineering and demolition works and sustained logistical traffic” in areas near the border.
Dujarric said the UN peacekeeping mission, Unifil, also recorded intensive air activity involving fighter aircraft and drones.
You are an idiot. And you‘re not alone with that. Even a small group of people out of the eight billion people on Earth could have stopped the West Asia War; the onslaught in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran and even in Israel. But not a single parliament, lawmaker, NGO, journalist, or whatever-movement on Earth, not even the Good Guys, have been digging into the core of the issue; of what really happened.
And I can prove it.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with President Donald Trump Thursday evening after the US president’s post on social media claiming that Israel supported a potential impending agreement with Iran.
In a readout of the call from the prime minister’s office, Netanyahu “expressed his appreciation” to Trump for his commitment that a final agreement with Iran would remove Tehran’s enriched uranium, dismantle its nuclear infrastructure, limit its missile production and halt its support for regional proxies.
