Wie später “Profil.at” recherchierte, betrieb eine in Wien basierte “kleine Spezialeinheit” aus Österreichern und Israelis “äußerst klandestin” auf Facebook sowohl eine Pro-, als auch eine Anti-Seite über den späteren Wahlsieger der sogenannten “Ö.V.P.”, Sebastian Kurz. Auf der Anti-Seite hieß es u.a. über Kurz, dieser sei ein “Islam-Versteher”, stehe für “ungezügelten Zuzug von Migranten und Bevorzugung von Ausländern“, etc. In einem Beitrag wurde Kurz vorgeworfen, Teil eines “dubiosen politischen Netzwerks” des “Milliardärs George Soros” zu sein, der als “Einflüsterer” “die Politik nach seinen Interessen” steuere.

Damit war die Silberstein-Affäre keineswegs vorbei. Im Gegenteil, sie fing erst richtig an.
Am Donnerstag, den 12. Oktober sitzt eine Journalistin von diepresse.com (“Presse”), die in der Causa Tal Silberstein recherchiert hatte, in Wien im Innenministerium beim österreichischen Inlandsgeheimdienst Verfassungsschutz. In Abstimmung mit ihrer Chefredaktion erstattet sie Anzeige gegen Unbekannt, weil sie eine Observierung ihrer Person vermutet.
Die Journalistin hat nach ihrer vierstündigen Vernehmung das Protokoll noch nicht unterschrieben, da ruft schon der Chefredakteur der Kronenzeitung (krone.at), Richard Schmitt, bei “Presse”-Herausgeber Rainer Nowak an und konfrontiert diesen mit Einzelheiten aus der Vernehmung.
Noch am gleichen Tag veröffentlicht die Kronenzeitung einen Artikel, in welchem sie den Namen der “Sicherheitsfirma” benennt, welche die Journalistin demnach beschattet hat:
“Black Cube”.
In Zeitlupe: aus dem Büro des Inlandsgeheimdienstes von Österreich heraus wird am 12. Oktober in Windeseile nicht nur bei der Kronen-Zeitung kontaktiert und berichtet, was eine beschattete Journalistin beim Inlandsgeheimdienst zur Anzeige gegen Unbekannt bringt, sondern es ist dort offensichtlich bereits bekannt, wer Unbekannt ist.
Das israelische Spionage-Konsortium “Black Cube” ist, das legen öffentlich zugängliche Informationen nahe, Ableger des weltweit größten kommerziellen bzw nichtstaatlichen Spionage-Konsortiums “Kroll Inc”.
Daraufhin passiert Folgendes: “Presse”-Chefredakteur Rainer Nowak kündigt an, mit Innenminister Wolfgang Sobotka (“Ö.V.P.”) ein ernstes Wörtchen zu reden. Man habe die Beschattung der eigenen Journalistin (durch ein einflussreiches und mit dem Mossad eng verbundenes Spionage-Konsortium) doch nicht öffentlich machen wollen! Ja Herrschaftszeiten!

Black Cube’s political work frequently intersects with Israel’s foreign policy priorities. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for example, has campaigned vociferously against the Iran deal.
“They would never work against Israeli interests,” said the source who was familiar with Black Cube’s Iran work. He likened the firm to an “almost privatized wing of Mossad.”

On a summer evening about a decade ago, an unusual group entered the spacious Israeli beach house home of Israeli Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan. His guest at his home in Beit Yanai, to which he had made a special trip from his home in Los Angeles especially for the meeting, was Meir Dagan, the director at the time of Israel’s Mossad espionage agency.
Also in attendance was a Russian oligarch close to President Vladimir Putin and the oligarch’s young daughter. They were joined by several others as well.

Our position remains clear and steadfast. Iran must fully and, without delay, cooperate in good faith with the IAEA. It is up to Iran to provide technically credible answers to the IAEA’s questions on the whereabouts of all nuclear material on its territory. The JCPoA can in no way be used to release Iran from legally binding obligations that are essential to the global non-proliferation regime.
Given Iran’s failure to conclude the deal on the table we will consult, alongside international partners, on how best to address Iran’s continued nuclear escalation and lack of cooperation with the IAEA regarding its NPT safeguards agreement.

A group of more than 40 human rights activists have filed a petition with the High Court of Justice, demanding the cessation of Israeli arms exports to Ukraine.
They argue that these weapons serve forces that openly espouse a neo-Nazi ideology and cite evidence that the right-wing Azov militia, whose members are part of Ukraine’s armed forces, and are supported by the country’s ministry of internal affairs, is using these weapons.
State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman stressed in his report major shortcomings in the force’s work to gather intelligence and anticipate the violence, specifically in mixed Jewish-Arab cities like Lod, Acre, and Jaffa.
Planned evictions of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem and tensions surrounding the city’s Al-Aqsa Mosque compound spilled into violence across the country. On May 10, 2021, Hamas fired rockets at Jerusalem, prompting an Israeli response, and the fighting lasted for 11 days. During that time, violence between Arabs and Jews in Israel intensified.
„One Friday, I received a call from Arnon and he said to me, ‚Speak to Yossi Cohen and tell him that Sara likes him,'“ Klein continued. „‚Tell Yossi what Sara says about him.‘ Arnon told him that he spoke with the Netanyahus. And then Arnon met with [then-Mossad chief] Tamir Pardo on Friday afternoon. He told Pardo that he spoke to the Netanyahus and they both approved this appointment, and Tamir told Milchan: ‘You did something bad for the State of Israel.’”
The wording of the approved bill sets November 1 as the date elections will be held.
If the vote passes, Lapid will assume the position of prime minister on Thursday at midnight, replacing his coalition partner Naftali Bennett, who on Wednesday evening announced that he would not run in the upcoming election.
A number of senior Israeli officials secretly visited Saudi Arabia over the past decade, including Defense Minister Benny Gantz when he was the Israeli army’s chief of staff, signalling deepening covert relations between Israel and the Kingdom, the Israel Hayom daily reported on Sunday.

Cohen was asked about his relationship with Packer following a Haaretz investigation, which revealed he had received a $20,000 gift for his daughter’s wedding, though the figure cited in ‚Uvda‘ was lower.
The recently retired Mossad chief, who is a close confidant of outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, also asserted that „everything was done in consultation and with the approval of the attorney general“ and that Packer wanted to give „much more.“

James Packer wasn’t just another billionaire who developed relationships with Israel’s elite. The Australian media and casino tycoon with the troubled psyche mingled with those in the most secret circles in the country. Benjamin Netanyahu exploited him to the hilt – and he wasn’t the only one who did so.

Cohen also met with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken Thursday, alongside Israel’s ambassador to Washington, in which the Israeli officials expressed „deep concern“ about Iran’s nuclear activities, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Zarif also blames Soleimani for being in cahoots with Russia, which “put all its weight” behind sabotaging the nuclear deal with the U.S. and world powers, as well as allowing Russian fighter jets to fly over Iran for Syrian bombing raids, letting Russia use Iranian airliners to move military personnel and equipment, and deploying Iranian soldiers on the ground in Syria.
The recording, of a conversation in March between Mr. Zarif and an economist named Saeed Leylaz, an ally, was not meant for publication, as the foreign minister can repeatedly be heard saying on the audio. A copy was leaked to the London-based Persian news channel Iran International, which first reported on the recording and shared it with The New York Times.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a meeting to consolidate an Israeli strategy on Iran’s nuclear program given the progress being made among signatories to the deal in talks in Vienna.
According to the official, should Iran engage in serious talks on an improved accord, Israel would share its position on what such an accord should look like. The team of senior officials led by Mossad Director Yossi Cohen and National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabbat plan to express their objections to the White House, which is currently emerged in indirect negotiations with Tehran in Vienna.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the delegation traveling to Washington, D.C. next week for strategic talks on Iran to stress their objection to a U.S. return to the 2015 nuclear deal and to refuse to discuss its contents, Israeli officials say.
Laschet is committed to Chancellor Merkel’s famous sentence, which she uttered when addressing the Knesset in Jerusalem in 2008, that Israel’s security is part of Germany’s raison d’être. According to Speich, “it is Laschet’s fundamental foreign policy conviction that Germany must commit itself to the security of Israel. It is a political obligation.”
With just eight days left in office for President Donald Trump, Pompeo alleged that Iran has given safe haven to Al-Qaida leaders and support for the group, despite some skepticism within the intelligence community and Congress.
On Monday, Pompeo was seen meeting with Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen, according to Politico’s White House Correspondant Meredith McGraw.
“This system allows authorities to follow everything someone does online, and even permits them to manipulate the website these users visit,” said ethical hacker Noam Rotem, from the CyberCyber podcast. “This system allows tracking of each and every citizen or resident of Israel. But it’s not just that; the system is built in such a way that it can also follow intentions or motivations, and not just specific people. For example, it can track everyone who visited the website of the protest movement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and can even block the real website and change what people are seeing,” Rotem said.
The CIA never revealed who spirited the documents out of Iran or how. However, former senior German Foreign Office official Karsten Voigt explained to this reporter in 2013 that the German intelligence agency, the BND, had been furnished with the collection by an occasional source whom the intel chiefs considered less than credible.
And who was this source? According to Voigt, he belonged to the Mujahedeen e-Khalq (MEK), the exile Iranian cult which had fought for Saddam’s Iraqi forces against Iran during the eight-year war and by the early 1990s was passing information and propaganda that Mossad did not want to have attributed to itself.
The report consisted of interviews with three people with knowledge of the Mossad — journalist Ronen Bergman and agency veterans Victor Ostrovsky and Ram Ben-Barak. Channel 12 noted the report was approved by Israel’s military censor.

Spies, private investigators, criminals, and even some journalists have long used false identities to trick people into providing information, a practice known as pretexting. The Internet made pretexting easier. Aviran thought that fake online personae, known as avatars, could be used to spy on terrorist groups and to head off planned attacks. In 2004, he started Terrogence, which became the first major Israeli company to demonstrate the effectiveness of avatars in counterterrorism work.
When Terrogence launched, many suspected jihadi groups communicated through members-only online forums run by designated administrators. To get past these gatekeepers, Terrogence’s operatives gave their avatars legends, or backstories—often as Arab students at European universities. As the avatars proliferated, their operators joked that the most valuable online chat rooms were now entirely populated by avatars, who were, inadvertently, collecting information from one another.
Anyone speaking to people close to the prime minister and his ministers are hearing panic that stems not just from Benjamin Netanyahu’s vigorous attempt to stop the clock on the new election. On the agenda, they whisper, is a pending security crisis. The evil will come from the Persian Gulf, the Gaza Strip or the northern border, generated by Iran and its proxies. Auf der Anti-Seite hieß es u.a. über Kurz, dieser sei ein „Islam-Versteher“, stehe für „ungezügelten Zuzug von Migranten und Bevorzugung von Ausländern“, etc. In einem Beitrag wurde Kurz vorgeworfen, Teil eines „dubiosen politischen Netzwerks“ des „Milliardärs George Soros“ zu sein, der als „Einflüsterer“ „die Politik nach seinen Interessen“ steuere.

The aim is to cooperate in tracking down and eventually arresting cyber criminals. The Volkskrant’s front page report is accompanied by an extensive background story, which contains some more worrying details, but is only available in Dutch.
The cooperation with the Russians dates back to September 2007, when the head of THTC attended a conference in the Russian city of Khabarovsk, at which CIA, FBI, Mossad, BND and other agencies were present. The head of THTC was able to create a connection to the FSB and their deputy head of the department for cyber crime, Sergei Mikhailov, became the liaison for the Dutch police and would regularly visit the Netherlands.
The campaign official, Rick Gates, was ultimately not interested in the company’s work, a person with knowledge of the discussions told the Times.

Dies wird nun mutmaßlich, entsprechend der unauffällig durch die „Sicherheitsbehörden“ in internationaler Hierarchie und Befehlskette innerhalb der Republik aufgebauten Selbstermächtigungs-Struktur, als Legitimation benutzt werden mutmaßlich genau die Kräfte verstärkt zu bespitzeln und zu verleumden, die der Vorbereitung eines Angriffskrieges auf deutschem Boden überhaupt noch etwas entgegensetzen.
Die Anklage wegen Korruption als Damokles-Schwert über sich hängend, versucht Benjamin Netanjahu und seine rechtsradikale Gang an der Regierung des von ihnen seit der Ermordung von Yitzhak Rabin faktisch gekaperten Israels sich in einen weiteren Angriffskrieg in Asien zu retten. Und der Sturz der einem Krieg gegen den Iran entgegenstehenden Kanzlerin von Deutschland mittels einem „Putsch von rechts“ ist Teil dieses Bemühens.

Ostensibly citing Pardo’s words to Dayan that the “fun part” about the Mossad was that it was a “licensed crime organization” Netanyahu said that the Mossad “was not a crime organization but a glorious organization that does holy work in the war on terror, and which we all salute.” Netanyahu conveniently neglected to cite the end of Pardo’s statement: “For King and country,“ the oath used since Roman times, and especially in English history, by soldiers willing to sacrifice their lives for their nations. The Mossad is a “licensed crime organization,“ Pardo meant, but only in the service of Israel’s greater interests.
The impression one gets is that anyone who thinks differently from Netanyahu, and not just on security issues, is immediately suspected of sabotaging him, and in the prime minister’s view, all means of acting against such people are legitimate. After all, Netanyahu also frequently and irresponsibly throws out hints of “coups” and accusations that he’s being undermined by the police, the police commissioner and the judicial system.
Tamir Pardo, who served as head of the Israeli intelligence agency from 2011 to 2016, told Israeli Keshet TV’s investigative show Uvda that the order was not given „for the sake of a drill,“ according to excerpts of the interview released ahead of the broadcast on Thursday evening.
„When he tells you to start the countdown process, you know that he isn’t playing games with you,“ Pardo is quoted as saying. „These things have enormous significance.“

This is a total distortion of systemic efforts that are made from time to time to maintain information security regarding sensitive matters of paramound importance to Israel’s security. The decision of what means to use and against who is in the hands of the authorized officials.”
(31.5.2018) According to the show, Netanyahu told Pardo and then chief of staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz to prepare the military to be able to launch an attack on Iran within 15 days of being given the order to do so.

(31.5.2018) “I do not want to believe that in Israel, which is a democratic state, the prime minister is asking the Shin Bet to tap the chief of staff or me,” Pardo said in an interview. He added: „Wiretapping is the greatest possible [sign of] lack of trust. I never asked to wiretap any of my employees in the Mossad. Never. It never even crossed my mind. In my view, that’s outside the rules of the game.”
The campaign was first reported, on Saturday, by the British newspaper the Observer. However, sources familiar with the effort and pages of documents obtained by The New Yorker reveal that there is more to understand. Two of those sources told me on Sunday that the operation was carried out by Black Cube—a firm that was also employed by Harvey Weinstein and that offers its clients access to operatives from “Israel’s élite military and governmental intelligence units,” including the Mossad.
He suspects both men fled to Thailand not long after the murder to return to the „country of origin“, whom he declined to identify.
On whether the assassins were related to Israel’s spy agency as speculated by many, including the victim’s family, the source would only say that the men were „highly professional“ in their fields.

Two private investigators from Black Cube, using false identities, met with the actress Rose McGowan, who eventually publicly accused Weinstein of rape, to extract information from her.
