Der Bundestag hat schon im Mai 2021 offiziell gesagt: Clubs sind Kultur! Die sollen endlich so behandelt werden wie Theater oder Museen, und nicht mehr wie Spielhallen oder Puffe.
Was ist nun das Problem? Die BĂŒrokratie. Die BauNVO (Bau-Verordnung) muss noch ĂŒberredet werden, damit Clubs da offiziell als „KulturstĂ€tten“ drin stehen. Und das ist ultra-langsam. Bis 2025 ist das nicht durch.

Zwar wĂŒrden seit der Corona-Pandemie wieder mehr Menschen feiern gehen, aber Energie, Mieten, Gagen und Löhne seien spĂŒrbar teurer geworden, sagt OKA-GeschĂ€ftsfĂŒhrer und Vorstand der Live Initiative Sachsen (LISA), Felix Buchta. âDie Situation der sĂ€chsischen Clubs und LivemusikspielstĂ€tten ist weiterhin extrem prekĂ€r und fĂŒr viele existenzbedrohendâ, sagt er.
âViele Clubs arbeiten am Rande der RentabilitĂ€t und ĂŒberleben seit der Corona-Pandemie nur mit massiven Anstrengungen, dank der SolidaritĂ€t in der Szene und durch persönliche Ausbeutungâ, erklĂ€rt Buchta.

Am 27. Juni ist das selbstbetitelte Ideal-DebĂŒtalbum von 1980 in einer neu abgemischten Version erschienen. FĂŒr den â2025 Mixâ wurden die originalen MehrspurbĂ€nder digitalisiert und von Moritz Enders (u.a. Kraftklub, Casper) und Annette Humpe neu abgemischt. Das Ergebnis klingt verblĂŒffend direkt, greifbar und gegenwĂ€rtig â als wĂ€re die Berliner Band gerade erst ins Studio gestiegen.
Der Clou: FĂŒr den neuen Mix kam ausschlieĂlich Technik zum Einsatz, die bereits 1980 zur VerfĂŒgung stand. Der Sound ist also nicht einfach nur neu â sondern neu gedacht im Geist der alten Zeit. âIdeal (2025 Mix)â ist nicht bloĂ ein nostalgischer RĂŒckblick, sondern ein eindrucksvolles Update: Songs wie âBerlinâ, âBlaue Augenâ oder âHundsgemeinâ wirken heute so kompromisslos, radikal und relevant wie eh und je.

Yesterday was an exciting day in Genoa, with a huge celebration that began in the afternoon at the Music for Peace headquarters, one of the collection points for the 300 tons of aid brought by the Genoese and arriving from other Italian cities and even abroad, amid a constant flow of people. Forty tons were expected, and part of it will be reserved for Sudan, where a terrible and little-discussed humanitarian crisis is underway. Volunteers worked tirelessly to pack the enormous quantity of basic necessities, a tangible sign of a wave of generous popular solidarity, contrasting with the cowardice and inertia of European governments, incapable of reaching an agreement to stop Israel.

Am Samstag war ein aufregender Tag in Genua mit einem groĂen Fest, das am Nachmittag im Hauptquartier von Music for Peace begann. Das Hauptquartier ist einer der Sammelpunkte fĂŒr die 300 Tonnen HilfsgĂŒter, die von den Einwohner:innen Genuas und aus anderen italienischen StĂ€dten und sogar aus dem Ausland gebracht wurden.
