Gaza death toll rises to 73,035 since October 2023
GAZA, June 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli military offensive on Gaza has risen to 73,035 Palestinians killed and 173,368 injured since October 2023.
According to the sources, hospitals across the Gaza Strip received the bodies of three Palestinians over the past 24 hours. Another 11 wounded Palestinians were also admitted for treatment.
The sources added that since the start of the current ceasefire on October 11, 2025, the number of Palestinians killed has reached 1,024, while the number of injuries has risen to 3,260. In addition, 784 bodies have been recovered from different areas of the Strip.
One Killed, Two Wounded by Israeli Gunfire in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa
NNA – A young man was killed and two others were wounded after Israeli soldiers opened machine-gun fire on a group of people near a bulldozer carrying out road-clearing works in the Al-Deir neighborhood of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa.
