Asked by CNN about Vanceâs comments, Ocasio-Cortez smiled and said, âI hope he isâ the nominee.

Caving to Trump âTemper Tantrum,â Two Republicans Flip to Block Iran War Powers Resolution
Two Senate Republicans who supported a previous resolution calling for an end to the US war on Iran changed their votes late Wednesday after President Donald Trump publicly and privately berated GOP lawmakers, calling them âlosersâ who provided âaid and comfort to the enemy.â
In Wednesdayâs procedural vote, Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.)âwho reportedly got into a shouting match with Trump over the Iran war during a closed-door lunch hours earlierâsided with virtually every other Republican in opposing the war powers resolution, just a day after he supported a separate, symbolic resolution calling for the removal of US forces from the conflict. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) also switched, changing his vote to âpresentâ at the urging of the president.

Cassidy was briefed on Iran at the White House by Vice President JD Vance and special envoy Steve Witkoff, the senator confirmed on X, writing that the conversation „address[ed] many of my concerns.“ Cassidy voted against advancing the resolution Wednesday night.
And Paul voted present on Wednesday, despite voting in favor of the last several Iran war powers resolutions. He said on X his goal was to „give the President more space and leverage to negotiate a lasting peace.“

GOP Sens. Rand Paul, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Bill Cassidy joined Democrats in voting for the resolution, while Democratic Sen. John Fetterman voted against it. The final tally was 50-48. The absences of GOP Sens. Mitch McConnell and Dave McCormick, who have previously voted against advancing war powers resolutions, contributed to the measureâs adoption.

âHuge Win for the Constitutionâ as House Finally Passes Iran War Powers Resolution
Raucous applause erupted in the House of Representatives on Wednesday after US lawmakers passed a war powers resolution aimed at ending Donald Trumpâs illegal war of choice against Iranâalthough skeptics cautioned that the measure will likely have little impact on the actions of a president who has habitually shown utter contempt for the rule of law.
House lawmakers voted 215-208, with 7 legislators not voting, in favor of H.Con.Res.86, introduced in April by Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) and cosponsored by Reps. James Himes (D-Conn.), Adam Smith (D-Wash.), Gabe Amo (D-RI), Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.).

Joint List Factions Ready to Form Alliance of Independent Parties Ahead of Elections.
According to Jabareen, âThe dissolution of the Joint List in 2021 was a severe mistake that cost the Arab public political power and influence. Today, everyone understands this.â He added that despite ideological gaps with Raâam, âThe price of running separately will be unbearableâa drop in voter turnout and the continuation of the far-right rule.â He also emphasized that intensive talks are underway to reach agreements: âWe are doing everything we can to bring hope back to our public.â
Representatives from Hadash and two Arab partiers, Balad, and Taâal held a joint meeting last night to accelerate the reunification of the Joint List and remove obstacles toward an agreement. The three parties emphasized their consensus on core political issues and highlighted the importance of ongoing political and parliamentary coordination after the elections.
In a joint statement, the parties declared: âWe would like Raâam to be a partner in the political agreement, but we are aware of the significant gaps between our positions regarding the character and path of the Joint List. Nevertheless, recognizing the importance of unity against existential threats, the parties expressed willingness to reach an agreement with Raâam based on a âtechnical joint listâ for the elections, aiming to raise voter turnout, strengthen Arab representation, and topple the far-right government.â

Arab parties meeting to discuss reuniting into Joint List bloc
Last month, the Hadash party announced that it would promote direct dialogue with other Arab parties to explore the revival of the Joint List, which at its peak in 2015 and 2020 became the third-largest bloc in the Knesset and briefly held kingmaker influence.
The Hadash source said that several discussions have since taken place but that Mondayâs was the first to be publicized, signaling âmomentum.â
The bloc split due to internal fighting in 2021 when Mansour Abbasâs Islamist United Arab List (Raâam) broke away and it collapsed the following year ahead of the 2022 election.

MK Odeh: Will do Everything to Prevent Smotrich-Netanyahu-Ben Gvir from Continuing in Power
Smotrichâs comments drew immediate condemnation from the opposition, with Raâam chairman Mansour Abbas asserting that âhuman life holds no value in his eyesâ. MK Ayman Odeh, the chairman of Hadash-Taâal parliamentary faction, also slammed Smotrich, declaring on X that âwhat the racists and Kahanists say is not important, what matters is what we will do.â âAnd we, the Arab citizens, together with the democratic Jews, will do everything, simply everything, to prevent Smotrich-Netanyahu-Ben Gvir from continuing to another term,â Odeh wrote.
Smotrich: Including Arab party in government âa thousand timesâ worse than Oct. 7 failures
(May 5, 2026)
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich sparked an uproar on Tuesday when he asserted that former prime minister Naftali Bennettâs decision to include the Islamist Raâam party in his 2021-2022 government was far worse than the governmental failures tied to Hamasâs October 7, 2023, onslaught â the worst attack on civilians in Israeli history, which saw some 1,200 people murdered and 251 taken hostage, and which led to a multi-front war in which some 900 others have been killed.
Smotrichâs comments drew immediate condemnation from the opposition, with Raâam chairman Mansour Abbas asserting that âhuman life holds no value in [his] eyesâ and Bennett accusing the finance minister, as well as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of âtrying with all their might to make people forget the atrocities that occurred on their watch.â

Trump Finally Deletes Crazed Christ Post Even MAGA Hates

MAGA Media Meltdown: Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson Feud With Trump Allies as Late-Night Roasts Iran War Chaos
(March 12, 2026)
One of the loudest critics within Trumpâs own media orbit has been former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who has publicly condemned the presidentâs decision to strike Iran.
Kelly amplified her criticism on social media by sharing comments from slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk warning about the consequences of a potential war with Iran. She also lashed out at hawkish figures inside the Republican Party, including Sen. Lindsey Graham, after he vowed on television that the United States would âblow the h— out of these people.â
âFor the love of God this man should never be in Trumpâs orbit again,â Kelly wrote.

Anti-War MAGA Unites to Turn on Trump Together
(March 3, 2026)
Several staunch supporters of the âAmerica Firstâ president have openly opposed the conflict in the Middle East and questioned the motives behind it.
The fallout over Trumpâs war with Iran comes after the 79-year-old had already received intense pushback across the MAGA world for the botched handling of the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, a move long called for by Republican figures, including the president himself.
America Begins War With Iran, with Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rich Lowry, Charles Cooke & Sohrab Ahmari
Premiered Mar 2, 2026 The Megyn Kelly Show
Megyn Kelly discusses the bombing of Iran over the weekend, four U.S. service members who have already lost their lives, why she‘s skeptical and concerned about Trump‘s war on Iran in collaboration with Israel, and more. Then former U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to discuss pro-war propaganda being pushed out on social media and throughout the establishment press as America begins war with Iran, whether this foreign policy action is an abandonment of MAGA principles, the reality of America First, the parts of the right that are celebrating today, and more.
We said âNo More Foreign Wars, No More Regime Change!â We said it on rally stage after rally stage, speech after speech. Trump, Vance, basically the entire admin campaigned on it and promised to put America FIRST and Make America Great Again. My generation has been let down, abused, and used by our government our entire adult lives and our childrenâs generation is literally being abandoned.
Thousands and thousands of Americans from my generation have been killed and injured in never ending pointless foreign wars and we said no more. But we are freeing the Iranian people.
Please.
There are 93 million people in Iran, let them liberate themselves. But Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons.
Yeah sure.
We have been spoon fed that line for decades and Trump told us all that his bombing this past summer completely wiped it all out.
Itâs always a lie and itâs always America Last. But it feels like the worst betrayal this time because it comes from the very man and the admin who we all believed was different and said no more.
We thought the victory won in 2024 would be finally time to put America First.
And we thought that meant the common American man and woman and their children.
Not the elites.
America has suffered and they donât even care.
Hundreds of thousands of American small business owners lost their hard earned businesses during tyrannical covid lockdowns, that by the way, started under Trump with 15 days to slow the spread and continued under Biden and Democrats. There is no difference between them.
Vaccine injuries, deaths, delays and loss in our tax payer funded education, record high suicides, record high Big Pharma profits and ZERO accountability for anyone from the MAGA America First administration as they run off to start wars and the board of peace at the same time.
Create the crisis and the solution simultaneously and then build condos to profit. MAGA!
For years we demanded to release the Epstein files, demanding transparency and justice for thousands of victims, women and children, by the richest most powerful men in the world and we had to fight Trump himself to do it, even after we all campaigned on it. And not a single person has been arrested and likely wonât be, no accountability, no justice.
Instead, we get a war with Iran on behalf of Israel that will succeed in regime in Iran.
Another foreign war for foreign people for foreign regime change.
For what?
Does it lower our inflation that our government caused? Caused by BOTH Democrats AND Republicans with their decades of corrupt government spending that has enslaved us all in nearly $40 Trillion in debt and reduced the value of our dollar to nothing. No, war with Iran does not lower inflation and make cost of living affordable.
Does war with Iran fix our healthcare system and make health insurance affordable for Americans??
No war with Iran does not do that and the MAGA admin and Republicans arenât even working on it in any serious way at all.
Does war with Iran stop AI from replacing your job? Nope.
Does war with Iran help you to be able to afford to buy a home? No, but youâll see TikTok videos of nice penthouses when Gaza is rebuilt.
Does war with Iran help the mental health crisis in America or help the drug addiction pandemic in America? Nope.
Does war with Iran do anything to help American families stay together and survive? No, not at all.
But within hours of war with Iran it was reported approximately 40 innocent girls, school children, in Iran were killed by bombs from Israel.
And they donât care, they killed thousands of innocent children in Gaza, and apparently our Pro-Peace administration doesnât care either.
And, since they wonât solve Americaâs problems clearly they donât care about our kids either.
Now, America is going to be force fed and gas lighted all the ânobleâ reasons the American âPeaceâ President and Pro-Peace administration had to go to war once again this year, after being in power for only a year.
Head-spinning, but maga.
