Pentagon wants âexpanding optionsâ for nuclear weapons, officials say
(August 7, 2026)
The start of the review was announced by Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby during a keynote speech Wednesday. In his comments, Colby repeatedly emphasized the term âoptions,â though he stressed that as of right now, he had âno announcement of any kind of changeâ regarding the Pentagonâs nuclear policy.
âThereâs, you know, a review or sort of relook at the employment guidance, which is more about the commander of STRATCOM [Strategic Command] and his responsibilities and [the defense] secretaryâs authorities, etcetera,â he said in Omaha, Neb., during the 2026 Deterrence Symposium. Colby also noted that the review will not be released to the general public.
Colbyâs comments were not publicly broadcast, but a copy of the audio was shared with Breaking Defense.
They are discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings. Yes you read that correctly. Itâs real. Iâm not speculating, I know. And itâs pure evil.
The last time a nuclear weapon was used was August 6th and 9th of 1945 on two cities in Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, immediately killing 110,000 people, vaporizing people at ground zero, and total deaths reached 214,000 by the end of the year from severe burns and trauma.
But the extreme suffering continued for the Japanese people from radiation sickness, skyrocketing cancer rates, and generational birth defects.
Not to mention wiping out all means of their economy.
And the suffering was so great that all of humanity vowed, ânever again.â
Trump and his admin were told by our own intelligence that Iran was no where near creating a nuclear weapon, then Israel said the same line itâs repeated for decades, âIran is only weeks away.â
So we bombed anyways, killed their leaders and innocent little children in a school, and Iran has controlled the Strait of Hormuz ever since and punished the region for their part in it.
And now our government is the one actually discussing lowering the nuclear threshold in order to use nuclear weapons against Iran even though Trump claims heâs won the war like 40 times and says the U.S. controls the SoH.
Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering weâve never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history.
People need to speak out and boldly stop this insanity.
America is not untouchable.
If and when that happens, everyone, and I do mean everyone, will hold ALL of those in leadership right now fully responsible for the rest of human history.
Do not use nuclear weapons and stop this war NOW.

Iraqi factions to surrender weapons to PMF by Sept. 30
Iraqi political leaders agreed on a mechanism for armed factions to hand over their weapons to the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), which would register and store the arms under state supervision, a source in the leading Shiite Coordination Framework told Shafaq News on Sunday.
Under the agreement, the PMF âa state security organization comprising mostly Shiite armed factionsâ would take custody of the weapons, document their types and storage locations, and oversee any subsequent movement of arms or personnel under orders from the commander-in-chief of the armed forces.
Iran Preparing To Fight A FOREVER WAR
Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola discuss how Trumpâs war with Iran is pushing Tehran to dig in for a prolonged conflict.
Surprise strikes signal Iran is digging in for a long war
(August 6, 2026)
In recent weeks, Iran has gone on the offensive, striking commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz and launching a surprise attack on U.S. forces in Jordan. From a distance, these moves look like self-defeating escalation. Why should a badly damaged state, under severe economic pressure, lash out at the U.S. instead of pushing for a ceasefire?
The answer, simply put, is that Iran is digging in for a long war. Whatever Washington‘s intentions, Tehran increasingly interprets sanctions, negotiations, temporary ceasefires and military strikes as different instruments aimed at a single objective: regime change.
As long as this primary objective remains, Iran expects no sanctions relief or meaningful de-escalation. My conversations with Iranian foreign policy analysts suggest that Tehran now believes the war will continue in different forms until the end of Donald Trump‘s presidency.

(July 30, 2026)

Other footage from the base showed a disorganized mount of guns left behind by the soldiers, and the wreckage of the removed signs, including one with a hellish motif that read âKingdom of Devils.â
The soldiers claimed the signs were âpart of our companyâs tradition.â According to the army, the signs contained materials meant to disparage rookie soldiers.

Soldier seriously wounded during hazing ritual, 4 comrades indicted
(May 3, 2026)
In February, a female sergeant in the IDF Artillery Corps was indicted for abusing two corporals in her unit as part of a so-called hazing ritual. She was accused of abusing the two soldiers as a form of âpunishmentâ for minor infractions, summoning them at night, whipping them with her dog tag, striking them with her rifle, and forcing them to sing, despite their pleas for the actions to stop.
Similarly, last summer, seven soldiers serving in the Israeli Air Forceâs Arrow air defense system array were detained for the alleged abuse of junior soldiers. According to a Ynet report, the veteran soldiers were suspected of abuse, violence, threats and sex crimes.

(July 1, 2026)

Iranâs government spars with state TV as mediators push talks with US
The broadcaster, whose head is appointed by the supreme leader, issued a response on Saturday rejecting the governmentâs âaccusations and improper attributionsâ, and emphasised that it has a duty to prevent âan incorrect and unreal suggestion of duality in the countryâs leadership pillarsâ.
In his speech, Pezeshkian had pointed out that after last yearâs 12-day war with Israel, former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei publicly said there would be no negotiations with Washington â but privately had given his approval.

The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, Seyed Majid Mousavi, announced that Iran will continue attacks „until calm returns to the southern coastline and the Strait of Hormuzâ, according to Al Jazeera‘s reports of Iranian state media.
The statement comes as the IRGC has claimed responsibility for attacks on US military targets in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, and Syria, Al Jazeera reports.

Iran‘s Revolutionary Guard shadow leader resurfaced at a funeral after months
(July 4, 2026)
The fate of General Vahidi, who disappeared before the February 28 operation that killed Ayatollah Khamenei and many senior Revolutionary Guard officials, including former commander Mohammad Pakpour, had long been a subject of debate. Vahidi, attending Khamenei‘s funeral ceremony held ahead of the 40-day national mourning period starting this weekend, was captured by Iranian state media cameras mourning at the side of the coffin.
Iran‘s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Remains Absent as Funeral Draws Global Attention, Fueling Succession Questions
(July 7, 2026)
His absence was particularly notable during the main funeral procession through Tehran on Monday, where three of Ali Khamenei‘s sons-Mostafa, Meysam and Masoud-were shown praying beside the family‘s coffins. Mojtaba did not appear alongside them, nor has he delivered a public speech or recorded message since assuming the country‘s highest office in March.
According to reports, Iranian security officials have discouraged Mojtaba from attending the remaining funeral ceremonies because they believe he could become a target for another Israeli attack.
Officials have reportedly rejected his request to attend the final burial in Mashhad, citing continuing security threats.

UKMTO issues warning after report of fire on board container ship
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says it has received a report of an incident some nine nautical miles (about 17km) east of the Omani coast.
âMilitary authorities have reported that a container ship has sustained damage to the rear of the vessel, which has caused a fire on board,â it said.
âVessels are advised to transit with caution,â it added.
The alert came moments after CENTCOM announced the start of a third round of strikes on Iran, citing an Iranian attack on a Cyprus-flagged ship in the strait.
US Supreme Court: Wo Trumps Macht endet

Pentagon raised threat of Israeli spying on U.S. to highest level, sources say
Since a ceasefire went into place in early April, Trump has been pursuing a diplomatic deal with Iran to end the war Israel and the U.S. launched on Feb. 28. Israel has publicly expressed skepticism that Iran would abide by any negotiated deal. Netanyahu has pushed for a resumption of bombing raids against Iran and disagreed with Trump, who has pressed him to scale back attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon, according to Western officials.
Israel is keenly interested in whether Trump decides to resume major combat operations against Iran or to end the conflict, the current and former U.S. officials and outside experts said.
Pentagon warns Israeli spying on White House has reached ‚critical‘ level: Report
The DIA reportedly posted an internal message raising the espionage threat level regarding Israel to âcritical.â It also identified a series of specific incidents that heightened US concerns, one of the officials said.
The Pentagon is particularly concerned that Israel is surveilling top US officials to obtain information about internal deliberations among President Donald Trump‘s close advisors regarding decision-making on the conflicts in West Asia.
Digitaler Kolonialismus
(January 16, 2026)
