Daran, dass die Linkspartei diese Rolle erfĂŒllen könnte und wollte, ja, dass linke BĂŒrgermeister sich wie in Saint-Denis der Polizei in den Weg stellen, um Demonstrierende zu schĂŒtzen, daran darf leider sehr gezweifelt werden.

Pro-Palestinian activists blocked entrances to several German arms manufacturing sites on Tuesday, protesting the countryâs continued weapons exports to Israel, Anadolu reports.

Fascists Attempt to Storm Joint List Election HQ in Tel Aviv
Fascists identified with the racist Otzma Yehudit party, broke into the Left Bank club in Central Tel Aviv last night (Thursday, October 15). The building also serves as the Joint List elections headquarters, and branch for Hadash and the Communist Party of Israel. The intrusion occurred during the premiere screening of the âMesarvotâ occupation army refusers networkâs film, âNot Refusing to Respond,â and led to physical clashes with activists.
A dozen fascists attempted to reach the floor where the headquarters operates. Police arrived only after the activists had been removed from the premises by activists. The Joint List strongly condemned the violent break-in at the campaignâs election headquarters in Tel Aviv. âThis marks a dangerous new peak in political violence within the country, representing a perilous escalation and a tangible threat to election integrity. The writing is on the wall, and we must not wait for the next incident to understand the severity of the situation and act decisively,â the statement read.

Die Konzertkundgebung âUnzwingbar â Kein Bock auf Krieg und Wehrpflichtâ am 2. Oktober 2026 in Berlin hat ein starkes Zeichen fĂŒr Zusammenhalt, gegen AufrĂŒstung und gegen die Wehrpflicht gesetzt.
Mehr als 20.000 zumeist junge Menschen haben vor dem Brandenburger Tor in den Abend hinein zu Musik von K.I.Z, Disarstar, Dritte Wahl, Goldie 333 und Mieze getanzt und protestiert. Bis nach 21 Uhr wurde der Platz vor dem Brandenburger Tor immer noch voller.
Viele Teilnehmende trugen Schilder, auf denen sie unter anderem eine StĂ€rkung von Bildung, Gesundheit und Sozialstaat statt blinder AufrĂŒstung forderten. Die RedebeitrĂ€ge, die die Militarisierung in vielen Bereichen der Gesellschaft kritisierten, eine lebenswerte Zukunft fĂŒr junge Menschen einforderten und eindringliche Zeugnisse von Verweigerung des MilitĂ€rdienstes ablegten, wurden mit Begeisterung aufgenommen.

âDie GrĂŒnenâ und âDie Linkeâ werden von oben, ĂŒber deren Kader, durch die transatlantische AtlantikbrĂŒcke gelenkt. Alle derzeitigen Bundestagsparteien sind in Ăberparteien auf E.U.-Ebene organisiert. Eine tatsĂ€chliche Opposition findet parlamentarisch nicht statt. Und auĂerparlamentarisch ist die Opposition schwach, verwirrt und in groĂen Teilen ebenfalls nicht mehr verfassungstreu und schwafelt genauso von âEuropaâ wie anno dĂŒnnemal der Pfaffe auf der Kanzel zum ausgeplĂŒnderten Pöbel ĂŒber dessen Heil nach dem Tod.
Allen, die sich als klassische Sozialdemokratinnen und Sozialdemokraten in der Tradition von Rosa und Karl, oder mindestens Willy Brandt sehen, alle die sich als links, sozialistisch, emanzipatorisch, BĂŒrgerrechtler oder liberalistisch sehen, rate ich dringend jetzt die Faxen und das ganze Geschwafel zu lassen und zur Tat zu schreiten.
Ohne Partei wird in der Republik nichts besser werden. Und so oder so muss es eine Partei fĂŒr die Republik sein, und nicht gegen sie.

Es sind jetzt knapp zwei Wochen vergangen, seitdem ich mein Dossier in Berlin veröffentlicht habe. Seitdem gibt es Bemerkenswertes zu ergÀnzen.
Neue Dokumente und neue Ereignisse haben die im Dossier geĂ€uĂerten Vermutungen weiter untermauert.
ZunĂ€chst einmal: Da wir ja ĂŒber keine geheimen GesprĂ€chsprotokolle irgendwelcher bösen Konspirateure aus verqualmten Hinterzimmern verfĂŒgen, können wir bislang keinen justitiabel und wissenschaftlich einwandfreien Beweis fĂŒr die Annahme bieten, Kreise innerhalb der PDS hĂ€tten eine Westausdehnung ĂŒber eine âTarnfirmaâ WASG geplant und betrieben.
Auch hat man sich den Vorgang nicht so vorzustellen, daĂ hier ein Fahrplan aufgestellt wurde, dessen Stationen sodann penibel abgehakt worden wĂ€ren. Vielmehr wurde ein Problem erkannt (das Aussterben der PDS); sodann wurde ein Konzept âangedachtâ (PDSPlus von Michael Brie im Mai 2003). Es bedurfte aber letztlich doch der vorgezogenen Neuwahl sowie der sanften Verkupplungserpressung durch Lafontaine, damit das angedachte Ăbernahmekonzept praktisch umgesetzt werden konnte…
Ein neuer Mantel fĂŒr die PDS

Es gibt eine Reihe von Indizien, daĂ die PDS, zusammen mit Kollaborateuren bei der WASG, die Ăbernahme schon lange geplant hatte. Vordenker der PDS hatten das Konzept einer westdeutschen Sozialpartei links von der SPD schon ab 2002 in der Schublade. Die PDS-Vordenker taten dieses aus nackter Ăberlebensnotwendigkeit. Denn die PDS ist hoffnungslos ĂŒberaltert. Ihre traditionellen Infrastrukturen brechen im Raketentempo weg. Die PDS-FĂŒhrung leidet unter RelitĂ€tsverlust und zieht sich in parlamentarisch-administrative SphĂ€ren zurĂŒck. Die Strukturkrisen der PDS werden nach der Wahlniederlage bei der Bundestagswahl 2002 offensichtlich. Dies ist der Wendepunkt, wo bei der PDS-eigenen Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung laut nachgedacht wird ĂŒber Rettungswege.
Eine RLS-Studie von Ende 2002 von AndrĂ© Brie/Michael Brie/Michael Chrapa geht noch von einer inneren ReformfĂ€higkeit der PDS aus, und macht eine Reihe vernĂŒnftiger VorschlĂ€ge. Jedoch bringt der nachfolgende Geraer Parteitag bei der PDS keine ReformansĂ€tze. Der alte Schlendrian geht weiter. Daraufhin verfaĂt Michael Brie im Mai 2003 eine Studie mit einem ganz neuen Konzept: PDSPlus. Die PDS soll sich wenigstens als Volkspartei in Ostdeutschland konsolidieren. Das Ăberleben der PDS ist aber nur denkbar, wenn in Westdeutschland eine neue Sozialpartei gegrĂŒndet wird, die dem Anschein nach selbstĂ€ndig ist. Ein âpersoneller Kernâ soll aber tatsĂ€chlich die Anbindung an die PDS gewĂ€hrleisten. Die neue Westpartei soll jene WĂ€hler erreichen, die nicht mehr die Altparteien wĂ€hlen, aber auch die PDS nicht wĂ€hlen wollen.
Im Februar verfaĂt PDS- und RLS-Mitglied Ralf KrĂ€mer auf westdeutscher Seite das GrĂŒndungsmanifest dieser neuen Sozialpartei West. Durch eine geschickte Heimlichtuerei wird die Mainstreampresse angelockt, und das Wort von der linkspopulistischen Partei macht die Runde. GesprĂ€chskreise grĂŒnden sich in Westdeutschland. Sie bilden den Kern der neuen Sozialpartei. PDS-Strategen wie Joachim Bischoff leiten die spontanen Inititiativen in die richtigen â PDS-kompatiblen – KanĂ€le.
Diesen Kreisen ist schon lange klar, daĂ im Falle eines angestrebten gemeinsamen Wahlkampfauftrittes der neuen WASG und der alten PDS nur eine der beiden Parteien ihre Liste beim Wahlleiter anmelden kann…

Zwei Essays von Hermann Ploppa aus 2005 mit dem Titel âEin neuer Mantel fĂŒr die PDSâ beleuchten, wie die ehemalige DDR-Staatspartei (ab 1990 âPDSâ) im Jahre 2004 mithalf die âWahlalternative fĂŒr Arbeit und Soziale Gerechtigkeitâ (WASG) zu grĂŒnden, auf deren RĂŒcken anschlieĂend wieder in den Bundestag einzog, sie anschlieĂend schluckte und sich selbst in âdie Linkeâ umbenannte.

Die Essays sind hier zu finden (Teil 1, Teil 2) und hier gespiegelt (Teil 1, Teil 2). Teil 1 wurde veröffentlicht im Juni 2005, Teil 2 im August 2005, also noch vor der vom damaligen Bundeskanzler Gerhard Schröder so plötzlich vorgezogenen Bundestagswahl im September 2005.
Dass Schröder damals die Wahl ĂŒber eine selbst organisierte âgescheiterteâ Vertrauensfrage im Bundestag so plötzlich vorzog â eine vom Grundgesetz nicht vorgesehene faktische Auflösung des Parlaments nach dem Gusto eines Kanzlers! â erschlieĂt sich nur vor dem Hintergrund eben dieser Entwicklungen.
Kanzler Schröder lieĂ das Vorziehen der Bundestagswahl noch am Abend der Landtagswahl in Nordrhein-Westfalen am 22. Mai 2005 von seinem damaligen GeneralsekretĂ€r Franz MĂŒntefering verkĂŒnden. An der NRW-Wahl hatte der Landesverband der WASG, gegen den massiven Widerstand des WASG-Bundesvorstands, eigenstĂ€ndig teilgenommen und 2,2 Prozent erreicht.

Russia and Israel reject SĂĄnchezâs accusations of alleged involvement in the Ceuta migration crisis
The European Commission, in fact, avoided commenting on the substance of the matter on Tuesday and referred to the work of the European External Action Service (EEAS) on foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI).
EU spokesperson Paula Pinho explained that the issue falls under the purview of the EEAS and stated that the Commission has no information of its own on this matter.

Der in Leipzig lebende Autor war seit November 2023 auĂerdem in der Bewachung etwa von GeflĂŒchtetenunterkĂŒnften tĂ€tig. Wie aus dem Gerichtsbeschluss hervorgeht, ersuchte die Stadt Leipzig den sĂ€chsischen Verfassungsschutz noch im selben Monat um Kenntnisse zu Merten. Die hatte der Inlandsgeheimdienst freilich parat: Merten sei im Bundesvorstand der SDAJ fĂŒr Bildungsaufgaben zustĂ€ndig gewesen, sei zudem fĂŒr die »linksextremistische« Tageszeitung junge Welt sowie fĂŒr die Wochenzeitung Unsere Zeit tĂ€tig gewesen.

They were demanding the resignation of Pradhan, who is also a senior leader in Indiaâs ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, the party of Modi. The protesters at Jantar Mantar consider Pradhan to be responsible for failing to prevent âpaper leaksââthe unauthorized release of highly competitive national college entrance examinations, often hours and sometimes minutes before the exam is due.
The Jantar Mantar movement emerged in May in response to a leak of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), the countrywide medical entrance exam. Reports suggest at least a dozen students across the country died by suicide after the tests were canceled.

Democratic socialists eye 2028 White House race

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are eyeing a 2028 presidential bid in the wake of recent electoral successes across the country.
DSA Co-chair Ashik Siddique told The Hill in a Thursday interview that the organization has more than 100,000 members and 200 chapters across the country. âWe want people to be talking proactively about what they would want to see in a presidential campaign,â he said. The organization is looking to see how voters would engage and what would motivate them, he added.
On Politics, Ideology and Anti-Zionism
Moreover, we have allies in Israel and around the world, who share the same fundamental political goals we strive for â self-determination for the Palestinian people, the end of the occupation, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel, and the rejection of all discrimination against Palestinians in Israel. Some of these allies consider themselves Zionist, because they subscribe to a minimalist understanding of Zionism â self-determination for a Jewish collective in Israel. This right was recognized by the international community in the 1947 partition plan of Palestine and was realized by the state of Israel itself.
We do not reject this right, yet as Friedrich Engels said: âA people which oppresses another cannot emancipate itself.â Israel is still preventing the right of self-determination for Palestinians â the right for an independent Palestinian state with real borders and an end to the suffering. We need to work together with those who believe in the rights of both peoples â and some of them are Zionists.
We also know that when a political solution is achieved, it will not be after Jewish Israelis reject Zionism, but when they decide that their collective and individual interests lie on the side of peace. We are materialists â we assert that Zionism, the ideology, will only be overcome after we begin to dismantle its material basis â that of apartheid and colonization.
Therefore, our focus must remain on practical actions against this reality â and not symbolic politics of denunciation. In the German case, this means advocating for concrete actions such as a ban on settlement products import, the suspension of the EU-Israel association agreement, and a complete ban on arms supply to Israel. These actions could challenge Zionism much more than the adoption of the antizionist label.
