Voigt: Man musste in der öffentlichen Debatte zuweilen den Eindruck gewinnen, dass diese Zuschreibungen des Verfassungsschutzes unantastbar sind. Dabei sollte man wegen der Grundkonstellation besonders kritisch hinschauen: Der Verfassungsschutz schafft sich durch seine Einstufungen selbst die Grundlage für seine Beobachtungsaktivitäten.
Der Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) zahlt Honorare an Journalisten. Aus Gründen des „Staatswohls“ hält die Bundesregierung Namen und genaue Summen jedoch zurück.

A Foreign Ministry official told Middle East Eye that Israel was behind strikes against Saudi Arabia and at least one attack on Oman, asserting: „I can categorically say that some of the attacks were not carried out by us [Iran].“
The claims follow at least five drone and missile strikes on Saudi facilities, including the Ras Tanura oil refinery and the US embassy in Riyadh, alongside two targets at Oman‘s Duqm Port.

Though Israeli intelligence found obvious use for the steady stream of sensitive and classified information, their biggest prize was yet to come – top secret government laboratories in the United States. Eitan tasked Maxwell with selling PROMIS to US labs in the Los Alamos complex, including Sandia National Laboratory, which was and is at the core of the US nuclear weapons system. Notably, the eventual sale of PROMIS to these laboratories by Maxwell occurred during the same period in 1984 when Eitan tasked one of Israel’s top experts in nuclear targeting with supervising Jonathan Pollard’s espionage of U.S. nuclear secrets on Israel’s behalf.
In order to plot how he would accomplish such a feat, Maxwell would meet with none other than Henry Kissinger, who told him that – in order to sell PROMIS to these sensitive laboratories – he needed to enlist the services of then-Senator for Texas John Tower, who was the head of the Senates’ Armed Services Committee at the time.

Not long after his failure to secure the nomination as Pentagon chief, Tower died in a suspicious plane crash soon after the equally suspicious death of Robert Maxwell.

In early August 1984, FBI headquarters and other higher-ups in the Ed Meese-led Department of Justice, which itself was complicit in the whole sordid PROMIS affair, ordered the New Mexico office to halt its investigation into Information on Demand, Maxwell and PROMIS. The cover-up, oddly enough, continues today, with the FBI still refusing to release documents pertaining to Robert Maxwell and his role in the PROMIS scandal.

Almost one year to the day after the “Mega” spy scandal broke, the Wall Street Journal was the first outlet to report on the existence of a little-known organization of billionaires that was “informally” called the Mega Group and had been founded years prior in 1991. The report made no mention of the spy scandal that had spread concerns of Israeli espionage in the U.S. only a year prior. However, the group’s distinctive “informal” name and the connections of its members to the Mossad and to high-ranking Israeli politicians, including prime ministers, raise the possibility that “Mega” was not an individual, as the FBI and NSA had believed, but a group.
In 1997, when the “Mega” spy scandal broke, Netanyahu had recently become prime minister of Israel after an upset victory, a victory that was largely credited to one well-connected Netanyahu backer in particular, Ronald Lauder.

Some have taken Maxwell’s funeral held in Israel as the country’s “official” confirmation of Maxwell’s service to the Mossad, as it was likened to a state funeral and attended by no less than six serving and former heads of Israeli intelligence. During his funeral service in Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir eulogized him and stated: “He has done more for Israel than can today be said.”

For more than a decade, the bureau and officials at the Department of Justice have been obsessed with the suspicion that Israeli intelligence is running a mole inside the administration. This conviction originated in November 1986, following the arrest of Jonathan J. Pollard at the gates of the Israeli Embassy. Pollard, a U.S. citizen of Jewish origins, worked as an analyst at the counterterrorism center of U.S. Navy intelligence. He was sentenced to life in prison for spying on behalf of a secret Israeli intelligence unit called Lakam, a Hebrew acronym for Scientific Liaison Bureau.
U.S. prosecutors and investigators believed that Pollard and his Israeli handlers were helped by another American, referred to as Mr. X, who probably was a senior administration official. Mr. X provided the reference numbers that helped Pollard pull out requested files from America’s most-secret intelligence computers. But the investigators could not uncover Mr. X. Now, the FBI is eager to determine whether the old Mr. X of the Pollard affair is Mega.

IS THERE AN ISRAELI SPY ATthe heart of the U.S. government? In January the National Security Agency decrypted a phone call between the Israeli Embassy in Washington and Tel Aviv talking of „“Mega,“ in a context suggesting Mega is a highly placed spy. Since then, the FBI has been hunting for Mega, even starting surveillance of top National Security Council and State Department officials. The FBI is also revisiting the last U.S./Israel spy scandal, in which navy intelligence analyst Jonathan Pollard was found guilty of passing top-secret documents to Israel. Agents on that case never cracked a bigger mystery: who told Pollard‘s Israeli handlers which documents to ask for? The FBI is wondering if it was Mega and is irate that word of its hunt has leaked. Some agents suspect the leak was meant to warn Mega to lie low.

Wir haben bereits dargelegt, warum es in Deutschland keine unabhängige Justiz und damit keine vollständige Gewaltenteilung gibt – weil das Grundgesetz den Staat nicht ausdrücklich dazu zwingt. Das Grundgesetz schreibt dem Staat lediglich die Unabhängigkeit der Richter vor, nicht die der Justiz insgesamt. Daraus interpretiert der Staat für sich das Recht, die Staatsanwaltschaften bzw Ankläger der Exekutive anzugliedern.
Auf Bundesebene heißt das konkret: der Generalbundesanwalt und seine Behörde (allgemein Bundesanwaltschaft) unterstehen dem Justizminister. Daraus schlussfolgert, dass nach eventuellen Staatsverbrechen und / oder Verfassungsbrüchen durch ihre eigenen Organe – Kanzleramt, Ministerien, Behörden, Militär, Geheimdienste, etc, – die Regierung gegen sich selbst ermitteln müsste.
Zieht also die Bundesanwaltschaft bzw der Generalbundesanwalt ein Verfahren an sich, zieht es die Regierung an sich.
Verbleibt noch die Möglichkeit, dass das Parlament Untersuchungsausschüsse einsetzt, dass durch diese die betreffenden Staatsverbrechen aufgeklärt und dann öffentlich bekannt werden, dem folgend durch Wahlen eine Änderung der parlamentarischen Mehrheiten erfolgt, dann eine Neuwahl des Kanzlers / der Kanzlerin durch das Parlament, dann durch den Kanzler / die Kanzlerin eine Ernennung eines neuen Justizministers erfolgt (Minister / Ministerinnen werden nicht gewählt), dann durch den Justizminister / die Justizministerin eine Ernennung eines neuen Generalbundesanwalts oder eine Anweisung an den amtierenden Generalbundesanwalt erfolgt Ermittlungen gegen die damaligen oder immer noch amtierenden staatlichen Funktionäre bzw Stellen aufzunehmen und dass dieser dann der Anweisung des vorgesetzten Justizministers folgt. Wobei dann ggf die Ermittlungen durch die Regierungsbehörden (Geheimdienste, Bundeskriminalamt) erfolgen müsste, gegen die ermittelt wird.

The Justice Department has released 3 million new files about deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein. Among those documents is an explosive allegation from an FBI informant: that President Donald Trump is compromised by Israel.
Headline USA can reveal the FBI informant’s identity: Charles Johnson, a controversial figure with a long history in the right-wing movement. Though the report in the Epstein files is redacted, Headline USA has independently obtained a separate FBI report featuring allegations made by Johnson when he was an FBI informant. The two reports are from the same field office, contain similar details, and have the same source ID: 00099701.
A declassified FBI memo released on 30 January states that US President Donald Trump was “compromised by Israel,” that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad agent, and that a Jewish religious movement, Chabad Lubavitch, had coopted Trump’s presidency.
The FBI memo was written in 2020 as part of an investigation into improper domestic or foreign influence over the US electoral process.
It is based on information from a confidential human source (CHS) for the bureau and is among more than three million Epstein-related files released by the Justice Department on Friday.

Since the fall of Baghdad, Curveball‘s identity had been sought throughout Iraq and Europe. He was finally outed in late 2007 as the main source for Powell‘s speech, but has tried to keep a low profile ever since, refusing — under the orders of the BND — the approaches of the few reporters who had tracked him downto Karlsruhe.
The only other time Curveball has agreed to be interviewed was in late 2007, when he told CNN that he had been set up as a fall guy by the BND and had never breathed a word to them about WMD.

In a statement issued after the foreign-engineered unrest, Iran’s Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs said 3,117 people were killed during the riots, including 2,427 civilians and security personnel.
Many were bystanders or protesters shot by organized terrorist elements. Yet, even amid those casualties, Ghaderi pointed to a detail he considers critical to understanding the government’s approach during the riots.
“Until the end of Thursday, January 8,” he remarked, “despite the killing of a significant number of police officers, members of the popular Basij forces, and ordinary civilians by terrorists, no one was killed by police firearms.” Only later, when violence intensified further, did the posture change.
“Of course, on Friday, given the high level of violence carried out by the terrorists, the police, following orders from senior authorities, engaged in armed confrontation with them,” Ghaderi said.
He said Trump’s warning of military action against Tehran should protests turn violent motivated “terrorists” to target protesters and security forces to invite foreign intervention. “We are ready for war but also for dialogue,” he added.
Araghchi also said Iran has footage of weapons being distributed to protesters, adding authorities will soon release confessions of detainees.

Kennedy, a member of a covert British police unit, spent seven years spying on environmental and leftwing activists until he was unmasked in 2010.
During his deployment he travelled outside Britain and spied on activists in at least 14 countries. After his unmasking, German police were forced to admit that Kennedy had worked for three German states during at least five visits to the country between 2004 and 2009.

Modern political policing began in Britain in the 1880s, with the establishment of the Metropolitan Police’s Special Branch, the cocoon from which sprung the undercover policing operations decades later. The Branch originally aimed to combat Irish Fenians — armed fighters seeking independence from Britain — but soon expanded to keep tabs on foreign anarchists, suffragettes, and anticolonial Indians.
At the end of the 1800s, an undercover Branch officer infiltrated the Legitimation League — which campaigned to de-stigmatize bastard children — and orchestrated the League’s collapse. This operation set the tone for what was to come: intense, deeply personal infiltration of any political group that challenged the status quo.

Indeed, there is evidence, both here, in Europe, and across the Atlantic, of longstanding collaboration between elements of the security services and the far right.

Die Enttarnung des Informanten geht aus einem internen Schreiben der Gruppe hervor. „Wir haben ihn konfrontiert, und er hat zugegeben, dass er Ende 2017 erstmals vom Bremer Verfassungsschutz kontaktiert wurde und seitdem regelmäßige Treffen in einem Rhythmus von zwei bis vier Wochen stattgefunden haben“, heißt es in dem Schreiben, das buten un binnen vorliegt. Man müsse davon ausgehen, dass der Informant sämtliche internen Informationen, die er innerhalb der „Interventionistischen Linken“ (IL) erlangt habe, an den Verfassungsschutz weitergeleitet habe. Im Laufe dieser Woche wolle die Gruppe die Identität des Informanten öffentlich machen.

Nach Iris P. und Maria B. ist Astrid O. die dritte Undercover-Agentin, die innerhalb von eineinhalb Jahren im Nachhinein enttarnt worden ist.
Stanley Pottinger, as it happens, was a notable figure in the scandal that became known as Iran-Contra, in which the CIA used Israel as a middleman to move off-the-books weapons to Iran. In the early 1980s, under the CIA’s supervision, Pottinger advised an Iranian banker on shipping embargoed arms to Iran using fraudulent paperwork and overseas “dummy companies”—in the very same period that Pottinger and Epstein worked together selling “tax-avoidance” strategies from a penthouse by Central Park. Pottinger’s system eventually gave rise to a network of covert intermediaries shipping arms around the world; the CIA’s profits became a slush fund used to illegally bankroll the insurgent Contra army, who waged a war against Nicaragua’s leftist government while simultaneously trafficking cocaine to the United States.

Pottinger escaped prosecution after the FBI’s incriminating tapes of his conversations mysteriously disappeared; he went on to make a fortune on real estate deals in the 1980s, and became a New York Times’ bestselling novelist. His Times obit from last year reports that his final spy thriller remains unpublished. Hashemi died in 1986 after being infected with “a rare and virulent form of leukemia” that was diagnosed only two days before he died. (His death was later alleged to be foul play.)

4. Where the Evidence Is Strongest — Access, Not Agency
The most robust, verifiable element in the public record is Epstein’s access to Israeli elites and documented interactions with Israeli figures. Email exchanges, travel logs, and eyewitness reporting establish clear lines of contact and hospitality: meetings, invitations, and visits that show Epstein operated comfortably within Israeli political and commercial circles. Reporting also documents at least one intelligence‑linked individual reportedly staying at Epstein’s properties, which is a factual basis for speculation about intelligence interest but not proof of operational employment. Analysts stress the difference between being a useful network node and being a paid or directed intelligence operative.
The breach revealed the names of Afghans who had helped British forces in Afghanistan before they withdrew from the country in chaotic circumstances in 2021.
The details emerged after a legal ruling known as a superinjunction was lifted. The injunction had been granted in 2023 after the Ministry of Defence argued that a public disclosure of the breach could put people at risk of extra-judicial killing or serious violence by the Taliban.

Bei einer möglichen Überwachung der verschlüsselten Kommunikation sollten sogenannte Phantomteilnehmer unsichtbar an der Kommunikation teilnehmen. Das sei allerdings nichts anderes als eine Hintertür, sagt die Digitalorganisation und beschädige das Vertraulichkeitsversprechen der verschlüsselten Kommunikation.
