Wie das russische Establishment das Ende des Krieges wirklich sieht
In einem wichtigen Punkt war man sich einig: Dass es keinerlei Chance auf eine internationale formale und rechtliche Anerkennung der russischen Annexionen ukrainischen Territoriums gibt und dass Russland nicht darauf drängen wird. Es wurde eingräumt, dass dies nicht nur von der Ukraine und dem Westen abgelehnt würde, sondern auch von China, Indien und Südafrika, die die russische Annexion der Krim im Jahr 2014 nicht anerkannt haben.
Es besteht daher die Hoffnung, dass im Rahmen einer Friedensregelung die Frage des Status dieser Gebiete auf endlose zukünftige Verhandlungen verschoben wird (wie die ukrainische Regierung im März 2022 in Bezug auf die Krim vorschlug), bis sie schließlich von allen vergessen wird. Das Beispiel der (nicht anerkannten, aber praktisch unangefochtenen) Türkischen Republik Nordzypern wurde erwähnt. Das bedeutet, dass die Ukraine nicht öffentlich aufgefordert würde, diese Gebiete „aufzugeben“, sondern lediglich anzuerkennen, dass es unmöglich ist, sie mit Gewalt zurückzuerobern.

Was eine (weitere) verantwortliche, eine rationale, eine solidarische Maßnahme aus dem Weißen Haus wäre, ähnlich wie die Zurückhaltung was die Provokationen aus dem Kreml angeht: von sich aus auf eine N.A.T.O.-Mitgliedschaft der Ukraine zu verzichten. Neben der Lieferung von Defensivwaffen gäbe es nichts Besseres, was “der Westen” derzeit für die Ukraine tun kann. Man könnte vielleicht auch verkünden, man habe sich in den letzten 30 Jahren mit der N.A.T.O. genug gedehnt. Und zwanzig Jahre lang genug ruhmreichen Terrorkrieg geführt. Ein paar Millionen Tote würden nun reichen.
Das Ende des Afghanistan-Krieges, allein beendet durch den Befehl eines einzigen Mannes, Joe Biden, war diesbezüglich ein guter Anfang. Letztlich geht es um den Geheimbeschluss der NATO vom 4.Oktober 2001, über den niemand ausser der Schweizer FDP-Ständerat Dick Marty reden will.
Dieser Beschluss besagt, dass an jenem Tag in einer bis heute unter Verschluss gehaltenen Order sämtliche NATO-Staaten die sogenannte “Terrorbekämpfung” (welche heutzutage alles nach Wahl beinhaltet) komplett der CIA unterstellt haben.
Die Meinungsmache gegen Wagenknecht und Gefährten ist eröffnet
Kurzer Einschub, weil die Außenpolitik eine wichtige Rolle spielen wird und Vorwürfe des Ausverkaufs an China oder Russland wahrscheinlich zunehmen werden: Die Vorstellung, Deutschland könne auch als Brücke zwischen den Blöcken der kommenden multipolaren Weltordnung fungieren, wird in diesen Argumentationen oft gar nicht zugelassen. Ebenso die Feststellung, dass selbstverständlich kein naives oder romantisches Verhältnis zu Russland angestrebt werden sollte, sondern ein vernünftiger und sachlicher Umgang zum beiderseitigen Nutzen. Nicht zuletzt fällt oft unter den Tisch, dass ohne eine Verständigung mit Russland eine friedliche Ordnung in Europa gar nicht vorstellbar ist. Eine solche Verständigung mit Russland muss nicht die Verdammung der oder eine Abkopplung von den USA bedeuten.

Eine Militärallianz, deren Führungsmacht in den zurückliegenden Jahren fünf Länder völkerrechtswidrig überfallen und in diesen Kriegen mehr als 1 Million Menschen getötet hat, schürt Bedrohungsgefühle und Abwehrreaktionen und trägt so zu globaler Instabilität bei. Statt eines Machtinstruments für geopolitische Ziele brauchen wir ein defensiv ausgerichtetes Verteidigungsbündnis, das die Grundsätze der UN-Charta achtet, Abrüstung anstrebt, statt zu Aufrüstung zu verpflichten, und in dem sich die Mitglieder auf Augenhöhe begegnen. Europa benötigt eine stabile Sicherheitsarchitektur, die längerfristig auch Russland einschließen sollte.
Unser Land verdient eine selbstbewusste Politik, die das Wohlergehen seiner Bürger in den Mittelpunkt stellt und von der Einsicht getragen ist, dass US-amerikanische Interessen sich von unseren Interessen teilweise erheblich unterscheiden. Unser Ziel ist ein eigenständiges Europa souveräner Demokratien in einer multipolaren Welt und keine neue Blockkonfrontation, in der Europa zwischen den USA und dem sich immer selbstbewusster formierenden neuen Machtblock um China und Russland zerrieben wird.

Khan was sacked from power in April 2022 after he lost a no-confidence vote in parliament. He alleged he knew of the “cypher” while he was in office which, according to him, proved the US hatched a conspiracy with the help of his political opponents and the Pakistani military to remove him.
He later made a U-turn, saying he wants good relations with the US, but continued to blame his successor Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the military for orchestrating his removal.

The cable, known internally as a “cypher,” reveals both the carrots and the sticks that the State Department deployed in its push against Khan, promising warmer relations if Khan was removed, and isolation if he was not.

Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz hat bei einer kürzlichen Wahlkampfrede in München anwesende Kritiker des Kurses der Bundesregierung schwer beleidigt, wie Medien berichten. Im Laufe der Rede sagte Scholz an die Bürger gewandt, die für Waffenstillstand und Verhandlungen im Ukrainekrieg eintreten:
„Und die, die hier mit Friedenstauben rumlaufen, sind deshalb vielleicht gefallene Engel, die aus der Hölle kommen, weil sie letztendlich einem Kriegstreiber das Wort reden.“

China‘s foreign ministry spokesperson said in a statement on Thursday night that an explosion had occurred near China‘s Consulate-General in Odesa.
The statement went on to say that the „blast wave shook off parts of the wall surface and windowpanes.“ It also said, „The consulate staff had long left the premises and no one was hurt.“
It added that China is „staying in touch with the parties concerned“ and will „take all measures necessary to keep Chinese institutions and nationals safe in Ukraine.“

The Russian invasion of Ukraine was a war crime, although one that was provoked by NATO expansion and by the United States backing of the 2014 “Maidan” coup which ousted the democratically elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. Yanukovych wanted economic integration with the European Union, but not at the expense of economic and political ties with Russia. The war will only be solved through negotiations that allow ethnic Russians in Ukraine to have autonomy and Moscow’s protection, as well as Ukrainian neutrality, which means the country cannot join NATO. The longer these negotiations are delayed the more Ukrainians will suffer and die. Their cities and infrastructure will continue to be pounded into rubble.

Biden: ‘I’m not going to make it easier’ for Ukraine to join NATO
His comments come after Biden has reportedly expressed that he is open to removing the Member Action Plan hurdle for Ukraine to join NATO, which requires countries that want to join the alliance make reforms militarily and democratically.
On Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that a loss to Russia could ultimately force the U.S. to choose between the “collapse of NATO” or going to war.

Ramaphosa meets Putin and presents 10-point plan to end war between Ukraine and Russia
Ramaphosa went on to outline a proposal that has been agreed upon by the seven countries involved in the mission:
– Both leaders must listen to one another;
– The war must be settled through negotiations and diplomatic means;
– There must be a de-escalation of conflict on both sides;
– The sovereignty of countries in terms of the UN Charter and internationally recognised principles should be recognised;
– There needs to be a guarantee of security for all the countries involved. This issue has been raised by all sides;
– The movement of grains across the Black Sea must be opened up to remove blockages so that commodities can reach markets;
– humanitarian efforts must be set up for those affected by the war;
– Prisoners of war must be released and children returned to Ukraine;
– There must be reconstruction of the destruction caused by the war; and
– Further engagements should be held to encourage more dialogue through the Africa Peace Mission.

The absence of a date or clear conditions that Ukraine would need to meet to gain automatic Nato status will lead to Ukrainian accusations that Nato is doing little more than re-offering the promise of membership made to Ukraine at the Nato Bucharest summit in April 2008 when Nato said it had agreed Ukraine and Georgia will become members of Nato. Western countries said it would be perfectly understandable for Ukraine to be angry but insist the wording, coupled with the security commitments, can be an improvement.

Vienna’s International Summit for Peace in Ukraine Issues a Global Call for Action
During the weekend of June 10-11 in Vienna, Austria, over 300 people representing peace organizations from 32 countries came together for the first time since the Russian invasion of Ukraine to demand an end to the fighting. In a formal conference declaration, participants declared, “We are a broad and politically diverse coalition that represents peace movements and civil society. We are firmly united in our belief that war is a crime against humanity and there is no military solution to the current crisis.”
To amplify their call for a ceasefire, Summit participants committed themselves to organizing Global Weeks of Action–protests, street vigils and political lobbying–during the days of September 30-October 8.

Wortlaut Neutralitätsinitiative «Wahrung der schweizerischen Neutralität»
Die Bundesverfassung wird wie folgt geändert:
Art. 54a Schweizerische Neutralität
1) Die Schweiz ist neutral. Ihre Neutralität ist immerwährend und bewaffnet.
2) Die Schweiz tritt keinem Militär- oder Verteidigungsbündnis bei. Vorbehalten ist eine Zusammenarbeit mit solchen Bündnissen für den Fall eines direkten militärischen Angriffs auf die Schweiz oder für den Fall von Handlungen zur Vorbereitung eines solchen Angriffs.
3) Die Schweiz beteiligt sich nicht an militärischen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Drittstaaten und trifft auch keine nichtmilitärischen Zwangsmassnahmen gegen kriegführende Staaten. Vorbehalten sind Verpflichtungen gegenüber der Organisation der Vereinten Nationen (UNO) sowie Massnahmen zur Verhinderung der Umgehung von nichtmilitärischen Zwangsmassnahmen anderer Staaten.
4) Die Schweiz nutzt ihre immerwährende Neutralität für die Verhinderung und Lösung von Konflikten und steht als Vermittlerin zur Verfügung.
«Lex Ukraine» abgelehnt – Nationalrat will keine Kriegsmaterial-Sonderregel für die Ukraine
Für die SVP, die Mehrheit von FDP und Grünen sowie Mitgliedern der SP-Fraktion war das allerdings keine Option. «Wenn man nur für dieses eine Land eine Ausnahme macht, dann geht das nicht mit der Neutralität zusammen», erklärte stellvertretend Grünen-Nationalrat Fabien Fivaz. Dass das Gesetz dann auch noch dringlich eingeführt, also sofort gelten sollte, sei die «nukleare Option».

n its statement Thursday morning, China’s Foreign Ministry confirmed Li had met Zelensky and other senior Ukrainian officials.
Li reiterated that China is willing to serve as a peace broker for resolving the Ukrainian crisis, on the basis of its previously stated positions on the war.

Li travelled to Kyiv via Warsaw, Poland, on Tuesday, and is expected to return to the Polish capital on Thursday, staying until Sunday.
On Wednesday, Li met Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who said the talks focused on his country’s territorial integrity.

In the meeting with Li, Kuleba “emphasized that Ukraine does not accept any proposals that would involve the loss of its territories or the freezing of the conflict.”
He praised the “importance” of China’s mediating role, including in the Black Sea Initiative that allowed for the resumption of grain exports through the Black Sea, and in nuclear safety.
The two sides also agreed to “intensify dialogue on key issues.”
There are still no photos or press release on Li Hui arriving in Kyiv. A bit strange. He started his journey from Monday, I guess it should not take so much time to reach Ukraine.
