Belgian plant blamed for AstraZeneca vaccine shortage says it met all deliveries

AstraZeneca subcontracted the plant — previously owned by Novasep — to produce the drug substance of its vaccine. Volanti would not say how many doses the plant was contracted to provide. He said the plant sends its drug substance to an Italian company to be put into vials and packaged for distribution.
AstraZeneca declined to comment on Thermo Fisher’s remarks, according to Reuters.

Die KDW kommentiert das Verbot der Verteilung ihrer Zeitung «Der Widerstand» mit scharfen Worten: «Mit solch einem Schwachsinn wurde wieder versucht, unsere Zeitungsverteilung mit Stasi-Methoden zu verhindern. Wir fordern alle Beamte auf, sich nicht mehr an solchen Verbrechen zu beteiligen — auch im eigenen Interesse. Eine Krankmeldung ist bei Symptomen dringend angebracht, liebe Mitmenschen in unseren Institutionen und Behörden.»
