Am Sonnabend erschien auf dem Portal »Indymedia« schließlich ein weiterer Text, in dem sich Unbekannte mit – offenbar nur der Polizei bekannten – Details zum ersten Brandanschlag 2011 auf eine Kabelbrücke am Ostkreuz als »Vulkangruppe – Das Grollen des Eyajfjallajökull« bezeichnen. Im Text werden vier seit dem 7. Januar erschienene »Vulkangruppen«-Texte als Fakes bezeichnet,
Als total dubios empfinde ich die (angebliche) Täterschaft einer sich „links“ nennenden Terror-Gruppe. Dazu kommt die Übernahme dieser fragwürdigen Charakterisierung des Terrors gegen Bürger als „links“ durch Medien und Politik. Der total abzulehnende Anschlag gegen tausende einfache Bürger kann selbst nach den massiven Umdeutungen des Wortsinns von „Links“ und „Rechts“ in den letzten Jahren in keiner Weise als „Links“ bezeichnet werden. Dieses Urteil trifft auch auf vorherige, angeblich durch die dubiose „Vulkan Gruppe“ verübte Anschläge zu. Mehr zur Rechts-Links-Verwirrung findet sich hier oder hier oder hier oder hier oder hier.
Wer Handlungen wie den Strom-Terror dennoch als „Links“ qualifiziert (wie die Gruppe selber oder viele Journalisten und Politiker), der führt die Bürger in die Irre und möchte den Ruf tatsächlich linker Inhalte (etwa das Streiten für soziale Gerechtigkeit) schwer beschädigen.

The Knesset approved a one-year extension of a temporary order that authorizes the IDF and Shin Bet security service to hack into private security cameras without their owners‘ knowledge.
Although the temporary order originally stipulated that hacking into cameras would only be done in cases related to „significant military activities,“ the current proposal eliminated this condition so that the order would not be dependent on the state of war. However, the grounds for activating the order were reduced.
Ten Knesset members voted in favor of the order in the third and final vote, with no opponents.

Israel’s Knesset approved a one-year extension of a temporary order allowing the Israeli military and Israeli intelligence agency Shin Bet to hack into private security cameras without owners’ knowledge, Haaretz reported.
The original order limited such access to cases involving “significant military activities.”
The updated legislation removed this restriction, allowing the order to be used regardless of a state of war, while narrowing the grounds for its activation. In the third and final vote, ten Knesset members supported the measure and none opposed it.

The US could follow up with an air/sea rescue operation covered by US fighters to „evacuate“ remaining members of the non-existent crew. The terror campaign could be pointed at refugees seeking haven in the United States. We could sink a boatload of Cubans en route to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of Cuban agents and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement, also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government.

Venezuela says it has thwarted what it calls a CIA-linked plot to attack a US warship anchored in Trinidad.
It claims the US would have blamed Venezuela for the attack on the USS Gravely, a guided-missile destroyer, to justify aggression against it.
The allegation comes a day after Venezuela said it had arrested mercenaries it alleged were connected to the US intelligence agency.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil said in a statement he had advised Trinidad and Tobago of the alleged false-flag operation.

The anti-Druze sentiment started overnight Monday into Tuesday. An audio recording was released online insulting the Prophet Muhammad and quickly went viral. It was attributed to an unnamed Druze leader in Suwayda, though that has not been confirmed, and it has been speculated it was specifically released to inflame sectarian violence.
If that was the purpose, mission accomplished, because attacks on the Druze in Jaramana were happening the very next day.

Supo has noticed an increase in cyber espionage exploiting Finnish infrastructure. The cyber espionage divisions of intelligence services in authoritarian states in particular have exploited dozens of network devices and servers operated by individuals and businesses in Finland by linking them into an infrastructure used for espionage.
This involves routing intelligence service operation traffic through a Finnish network device, so that the attack on the organisation targeted by espionage appears to come from an organisation or a private individual in Finland.

The report features a man named „Adel Gharbal“ from Homs, who claims he was arrested three months earlier for having his phone searched and was taken to Damascus, initially held in an unnamed prison before being transferred to the location shown in the video. According to the report, this transfer occurred three days after the fall of Assad‘s regime.
The man, hidden under a blanket despite the gunshots used to break his cell lock, claimed he had not seen sunlight for three months.
Between the lines: The report, if accurate, would suggest very close and detailed surveillance by U.S. intelligence of Israel‘s preparations for an attack on Iran, including the use of satellites to spy on operations carried out at Israeli Air Force bases.
Another US official said that “these two documents are bad, but not horrible. The concern is if there are more.”
It is not clear how the documents became public, nor whether they were hacked or deliberately leaked.
“Since October of last year, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has carried out more than 160 operations targeting the Israeli interior and the occupied areas in the Golan Heights, most of which Israel has not acknowledged for various reasons,” Kadhim al-Fartousi, a leader of Kataeb Sayyid al-Shuhadaa and the group’s spokesman, told MEE.
“The resistance announces the operations it carries out as soon as they happen. The resistance did not announce this operation or claim responsibility for it as was reported,” he added.
“If we had carried it out, we would have announced it.”
