Protesters condemned the US war on Iran and said that Rubio is a âwar criminalâ.
President Trump said on Thursday that a deal for U.S. companies to start a nuclear energy program in Saudi Arabia will require the Arab kingdom to normalize relations with Israel. As the Israel lobby attempts to end his political career, the Republican Rep. Thomas Massie has introduced a bill that would require lobbyists working for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, commonly known as AIPAC, to register as foreign agents.
The bill, known as the Americans Insist on Political Agent Clarity (AIPAC) Act, would amend the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 (FARA), which requires those working to influence government policy on behalf of a foreign power to register with the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

Early voting has ended in New York City, and the initial numbers show the highest early voting turnout for a non-presidential election in the city.
The New York City Board of Elections reported 735,317 early voting check-ins over the past nine days. That‘s more than four times the total from the 2021 mayoral race, which reported only 169,879 early voting check-ins for the general election.
A whopping 732,866 voters cast ballots over the nine days of early voting in the New York City mayorâs race this year, according to an amNewYork analysis of early voter data from the city Board of Elections.
The general electionâs early voting turnout this year marked the highest number of votes cast before Election Day in a non-presidential election year since the city implemented early voting in 2019.
This kind of post-truth society behavior, where one tells people theyâre not seeing whatâs directly in front of their eyes, is the kind of thing you only expect from Donald Trump and his most obsequious bootlickers. Two senior US officials told The Times of Israel on Tuesday that the US will present alternative plans for how Israel can continue pursuing Hamas without launching a major ground operation in Rafah during an upcoming meeting with a visiting Israeli delegation in Washington.
What they are saying: „I‘m not going to elaborate on his speech,“ Biden said in response to a question at the top of his meeting with the prime minister of Ireland at the White House.
„He made a good speech, and I think he expressed serious concern shared not only by him, but by many Americans,“ Biden added.
The mayhem broke out during debate on a motion from the opposition Scottish National Party, or SNP, urging an immediate cease-fire, the release of all Israeli hostages held by Hamas and âan end to the collective punishment of the Palestinian people.â
The main opposition Labour Party, which is divided over how strongly to criticize Israel, submitted a tweaked version of the motion calling for an âimmediate humanitarian cease-fire,â without the mention of collective punishment.
The governing Conservatives put forward their own amendment, which backed an âimmediate humanitarian pause,â followed by âmoves towards a permanent sustainableâ cease-fire.

After the demonstration ended, protesters attempted to cross the barricade that blocked off the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. Police tried to obstruct those who broke through, but several thousand people made their way onto the main road and began marching.
