Demands Met on 73rd Day as Three End Strike
(January 14, 2026)
With this victory it has never been clearer that Elbitâs days in Britain are numbered.
In addition to this key demand being met, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the various victories achieved across the duration of the hunger strike:
– In the past few weeks alone, hundreds of people have signed up to take action against the genocidal military-industrial complex, more than the amount of people who took action with Palestine Action over its 5 year campaign. During that 5 year campaign, 4 Israeli weapons factories were shut down. Elbit Systems is living on stolen time â we will see it shut down for good, not because of the government, but because of the people.
– Heba Muraisiâs transfer to HMP Bronzefield has been accepted by HMP New Hall, where she is currently held in intentional isolation from her family and friends.
– T. Hoxha has been offered a meeting with the head of JEXU (Joint Extremism Unit) at her prison, the very same organisation that orchestrates the prisonersâ treatment as âterroristsâ.
– Despite the cruel and constant medical neglect of the hunger strikers; including not logging food refusal, refusal of ambulances in life threatening emergencies, and degrading treatment in hospital; the national heads of prison healthcare have met with us at the behest of the Ministry of Justice.
– During the hunger strike, some of the prisoners started receiving bulk packages of witheld mail, and in one case received an apology from prison staff for a letter that was delayed by 6 months. Books on topics of Gaza and feminism have also been given after months of waiting.
– In pursuit of a fair trial, the hunger strikers demanded disclosure of export licenses for the last 5 years from Elbit Systems. After repeated requests, this information was disclosed to an independent researcher by the Department of Trade during the hunger strike.
Palestine Action Prison Hunger Strike Ends After a Victory in the UK
Three British activists jailed for alleged involvement with the banned anti-genocide group Palestine Action ended their monthslong hunger strike late Wednesday after the UK government rejected a $2.7 billion contract for a subsidiary of Israelâs largest weapons maker, Elbit Systems.
Prisoners for Palestine (P4P), which represents the hunger strikers, said that Hamran Ahmed, Heba Muraisi, and Lewie Chiaramello would accept food again. Muraisi hadnât eaten in 73 days, while Ahmed refused food for 66 days and Chiaramello, who has Type 1 diabetes, fasted every other day for 44 days.
Watch live: Senate agrees to pass bill to release Jeffrey Epstein files
Both chambers of Congress nearly unanimously passed a bill on Tuesday, Nov. 18, to compel the Justice Department to release as much information as possible about the late accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The success of the measure, which will immediately go to President Donald Trump‘s desk, was a remarkable show of bipartisan force.
Senate unanimously approves bill to force release of Epstein files
(today, 5:23 PM ET)
The Senate agreed by unanimous consent Tuesday to approve a House-passed bill to require the Justice Department to release all unclassified records and documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, sending the bill to President Trumpâs desk for a signature.
The swift Senate action ends the protracted battle in Congress over the files, which caused months of turmoil in the House and gave Democrats political ammo to accuse Republicans of protecting rich and powerful people who participated in Epsteinâs illicit activities.

Microsoft revokes cloud services from Israelâs Unit 8200, following +972 exposĂ©
Microsoft has terminated the Israeli armyâs access to technology it was using to store vast troves of intelligence on Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and Gaza, the tech giant informed Israelâs Defense Ministry in a letter late last week, according to the Guardian.
The decision followed an exposĂ© last month by +972 Magazine, Local Call, and the Guardian revealing how Unit 8200, the Israeli armyâs elite cyber warfare agency, was housing intercepted recordings of millions of mobile phone calls by Palestinians on Microsoftâs cloud platform, Azure, creating one of the worldâs most intrusive collections of surveillance data over a single population group. According to the joint investigation, this data has been used over the past two years to plan lethal airstrikes in Gaza, as well as to arrest Palestinians in the West Bank.
Microsoft blocks Israelâs use of its technology in mass surveillance of Palestinians
The decision to cut off Unit 8200âs ability to use some of its technology results directly from an investigation published by the Guardian last month. It revealed how Azure was being used to store and process the trove of Palestinian communications in a mass surveillance programme.
In a joint investigation with the Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine and the Hebrew-language outlet Local Call, the Guardian revealed how Microsoft and Unit 8200 had worked together on a plan to move large volumes of sensitive intelligence material into Azure.

French-Saudi UN Initiative: Awakening The International Community â OpEd
(July 29, 2025)
Hamasâ savage October 2023 attack and Israelâs horrific war of retaliation have reignited the call for a two-state solution. I applaud the joint French-Saudi UN initiative in support of a two-state solution in the hope that it will awaken the international community and end this most destructive and most protracted conflict since World War II.
Iran-Israel ceasefire appears to hold under pressure from Trump
Trump scolded both sides for early violations of the truce he announced at 0500 GMT, but directed especially stinging criticism at Washington‘s close ally Israel over the scale of its strikes, telling it to „calm down now“.
He later said Israel called off further attacks at his command to preserve the deal to end a 12-day air war with Iran.
Both Iran and Israel sent signals the conflict was over, at least for now.
Fragile Israel-Iran truce appears to hold after Trumpâs fury at initial violations
(Tue 24 Jun 2025 19.41 CEST)
The shaky truce between Israel and Iran appeared to be holding on Tuesday evening, after an extraordinary day in which a furious Donald Trump at one point personally intervened by calling Benjamin Netanyahu in order to get him to scale down an Israeli airstrike.
Waking in Washington to find the ceasefire he had brokered the night before had been violated by both sides, Trump told the media: âWe basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they donât know what the fuck theyâre doing.â
Hostages starting to come out today! Three wonderful young women will be first.

Statement of ICC Prosecutor Karim A.A. Khan KC on the issuance of arrest warrants in the Situation in the State of Palestine
Today, our collective mind and focus should be on the victims of international crimes in Israel and in the State of Palestine. The UN General Assembly demands Israel end its occupation of Palestinian land within 12 months
The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution demanding the end of Israelâs occupation of Palestinian land within 12 months.
The resolution urges Israel to promptly comply with its legal obligations under international law, including those set by the International Court of Justice.
The resolution passes: – 124 in favour – 14 against – 43 abstentions
State of Palestine takes a seat in the UN General Assembly
This significant moment follows a decision by the General Assembly in May, where a majority of members voted in favor of granting Palestine full membership rights. This resolution came after the United States used its veto power in the Security Council to block Palestine‘s bid for full UN membership. (…)
To be granted full UN membership, a state must receive a two-thirds majority vote from the General Assembly following a positive recommendation from the Security Council.
The U.S. vetoed this recommendation on April 18, preventing Palestine from achieving full membership.

âWe changed politics in Britain for good,â James Giles, Gallowayâs campaign manager, told supporters back at campaign headquarters. âMaybe we have changed politics in the world for good.
