I‘m #TooFarLeft because I want policies that raise the chances of all people, regardless of race, disability, immigration status, gender, or class, to live a wonderful, healthy, safe, joyful, respected, and loving life, and to be seen & treated as equals.
I‘m #TooFarLeft? @BarackObama u are too rich & far right to know how depressing & exhausting my life is. I work 70 hrs a week to make $35,000. I have a paid for 10-yr-old car, a livingroom is my bedroom. Most of my money goes to pay unaffordable ACA for HC I need to save my life.
THANK YOU! ???? The hashtag I launched this morning, #TooFarLeft, is #1 in America and #3 worldwide. The idea is to destroy the ludicrous mainstream talking point that wanting social, economic, racial, and environmental justice is a radical position.
‚Too Far Left‘ hashtag trends on Twitter
The hashtag „TooFarLeft“ trended on Twitter on Saturday morning, in part because of comments made Friday by former President Obama.
Obama spoke at a fundraising meeting Friday evening and warned donors of the danger of the 2020 Democratic primary field moving too far to the left.
„Even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision, we also have to be rooted in reality,“ Obama said. „The average American doesn‘t think we have to completely tear down the system and remake it.“
Obama speaks out on 2020: Voters âdonât want to see crazy stuffâ
âWe also have to be rooted in reality and the fact that voters, including the Democratic voters and certainly persuadable independents or even moderate Republicans are not driven by the same views that are reflected on certain, you know, left-leaning Twitter feeds. Or the activist wing of our party,â Obama said.
US election 2020: Obama issues warning to ‚revolutionary‘ Democrats
The comments, which come less than four months before the Democratic primaries, represent one of Mr Obama‘s most pointed interventions in the race so far.
They may be seen as a critique of senators Sanders and Warren – widely seen as two of the most left-wing candidates in the field.
Anti-corruption protest underway in Valletta

Whether Hillary Clinton is on the ballot or not, her foreign policy will be. Many Dem candidates adhere to Bush-Clinton doctrine being the world‘s policeâwasting trillions of $$, spreading death and destruction, and undermining our national security. I will end this. #TULSI2020
The biggest threats that we face todayâclimate change, inequality, rising authoritarianism, and a refugee crisisâdo not have military solutions. It‘s time to stop spending trillions on endless wars and get to work on things that will help America succeed for future generations.
The Social Democratic Party is RENEWING… and I am the Parliamentary Candidate for Cambridge! @TheSDPUK @WilliamClouston #Cambridge
The post-war Labour government gave us full employment; the NHS; modern welfare state; public ownership of railways, electric, gas, coal and steel; and built a million new homes. All when the country‘s back was broken. Never let it be said that we can‘t afford a decent society.

UK Minimum Wage To Be Hiked By Boris Johnson In Bid To Woo Low Paid Workers
(01.10.2019)
The national minimum wage is set to be increased in a new move to give the low-paid a post-Brexit boost, chancellor Sajid Javid has revealed.
In yet another signal that a snap election is looming, Javid told the Conservative party conference that he planned to hike the current rate of ÂŁ8.21 an hour to ÂŁ10.50 an hour within five years.
Crucially, the increase would also apply to over-21s and not just over-25s,
UK election 2019 could deliver the countryâs first real living wage
In a less familiar but no less noisy competition, both main parties are trying to persuade voters that they are committed to raising living standards by promising a significant rise to the minimum wage. We could well see a transformative assault on low pay in the UK.
As recently as 2015, the hourly national minimum wage was just ÂŁ6.50. Today, for over-25s, it is ÂŁ8.21.
Some 200,000 rally against Czech Prime Minister in central Prague

Vor Start in Ăsterreich: Umstrittene Gesichtserkennung rĂŒckt nĂ€her

Why is Holmes testimony private after public impeachment hearings started? It‘s standard, legal experts say
David Holmes, the State Department official who overheard a key conversation between President Donald Trump and a U.S. ambassador, was expected to give private testimony Friday, continuing closed-door interviews even as members of Congress hosted a public hearing in the U.S. Capitol.
Republicans and Democrats have sparred over the closed format of the depositions, with the GOP slamming them as „secret“ and part of a „Soviet-style“ inquiry.
Impeachment witness provides firsthand account of hearing Trump demand âinvestigationâ of Bidens by Ukraine
Holmes testified that he overheard parts of Trumpâs phone call with Sondland during a lunch in Kyiv, because the president was speaking so loudly that his voice was audible through the phone to others sitting at the table nearby, according to the people familiar with the testimony.
Aide confirms Trump-Sondland call about Ukraine investigations
David Holmes, the aide to Bill Taylor who overheard President Trump‘s conversation with EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland, said that Sondland told Trump that President Zelensky would do „anything you ask him to,“ and that he confirmed the Ukrainians were going to „do the investigation.“ CNN‘s Manu Raju has the details.
The crowd in the public seating â as well as some Democrats â stood up and clapped and cheered for ambassador Yovanovitch after Schiff announced the end of the 2nd public hearing.
Five takeaways from ex-ambassador‘s dramatic testimony
Marie Yovanovitch, the former ambassador to Ukraine, told House impeachment investigators Friday that President Trumpâs side-channel foreign policy in Kyiv âknee-cappedâ U.S. anti-corruption efforts, deflated morale at the State Department and struck a blow to career diplomats fighting to advance U.S. policy around the globe.
Clint Lorance
At his trial in August 2013, nine members of his platoon testified against him.[5] Lorance never testified in the court hearings, though he did take responsibility for his men‘s actions. Three men on a motorcycle were speeding towards the platoon and ignoring commands to stop.[5] His soldiers testified that the platoon was walking through a field of grapes on patrol when a motorcycle was spotted approximately 600 feet away, and that the motorcycle could not have reached the platoon‘s position in the grape field.
