It said more than 710,000 people are sheltering in 149 facilities provided by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, or UNRWA. More than 120,000 others are in hospitals, churches and public buildings, and more than 100,000 are in 89 non-UNRWA schools.

The credibility of the ministry’s data is significant because there are few other sources of information about the situation in the blockaded region, and because some defenders of Israel’s actions in Gaza claim the ministry overstates the humanitarian toll of Israeli attacks for political reasons.
Most organizations and analysts tracking Gaza do treat the ministry as a reliable source, however, including the United Nations. The State Department has also publicly cited the ministry’s figures, for example in a report published earlier this year on the human rights situation in Israel-Palestine.
EXCLU: Biden yesterday questioned the death toll from Palestinians. I reviewed ~20 State Dept cables that cited the Gaza Health Ministry to report casualties & rarely included caveats. In one instance that did, the report said the toll was likely higher.

In addition to the overall death toll, the number of UN staff members working with the Palestine refugee agency UNRWA, has reached 35, according to the latest situation report released late on Monday. A further 18 staffers have been injured.
At least 40 UNRWA installations have been damaged since the violence began on 7 October.

DFC Intelligence just released its latest global Video Game Consumer Segmentation. This ongoing project breaks out the number of game consumers by country, region, and platform. As of mid 2020, it is estimated that the number of global game consumers is approaching 3.1 billion.
Of course, 3 billion is a massive number, however it only represents about 40% of the world population. Furthermore, by far the fastest growing segment is users that only access devices on smartphones. This accounts for nearly half of all users.

use their best clinical judgement in determining if a COVID–19 infection was likely. However, please note that testing for COVID–19 should be conducted whenever possible.

Am 4. April gab das C.D.C. einen „Leitfaden für die Zertifizierung von Todesfällen aufgrund der Coronavirus-Krankheit 2019 (COVID-19)“ („Guidance for Certifying Deaths Due to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19)“) heraus. In diesem heißt es wörtlich:
„In Fällen, in denen eine definitive Diagnose von COVID-19 nicht gestellt werden kann, dies jedoch verdächtigt wird oder wahrscheinlich ist (z.B. wenn die Umstände innerhalb eines vernünftigen Maßes an Sicherheit überzeugend sind), ist es akzeptabel, COVID-19 auf einem Totenschein als „vermutet“ oder „mutmaßlich“ zu melden.“

Wo nahm nun aber das Statistik- und Medienkarussell der „Corona-Toten“ oder gar „vermuteten Corona-Toten“ seinen Anfang, dass der berühmten „mehrheitsfähigen“ Rotte des Homo Sapiens dermaßen den Kopf verdrehte, dass sie sich gleich die ganze Demokratie rausschleudern ließen?
Am 20. März hatte die Weltgesundheitsbehörde W.H.O. einen „Interims-Leitfaden“ herausgegeben. Original-Titel: „Global surveillance for COVID-19 caused by human infection with COVID-19 virus“. In diesem legte die W.H.O. drei Kategorien von Krankheitsfällen fest:
Verdachtsfälle („suspect case“)
vermutete Fälle („probable case“)
bestätigte Fälle („confirmed case“)
Als „Verdachtsfälle“ definierte die W.H.O.. neben vielen anderen hochinteressanten Parametern, u.a. alle Personen mit „akuter Atemwegserkrankung“, die mit „einem bestätigten oder vermuteten Fall“ in Kontakt gewesen waren – bis zu vierzehn Tage vor dem Auftreten von Symptomen.
Und als „vermutete Fälle“ definierte die W.H.O alle Fälle, in denen Testergebnisse nicht schlüssig waren, sowie alle „Verdachtsfälle“ die nicht getestet wurden.
Das kann man schon als genial bezeichnen.
Und dann wies die W.H.O. alle Gesundheitsbehörden weltweit an, „vermutete und bestätigte Fälle“ an sie zu melden.
World’s population likely to shrink after 50 years

The world’s population is likely to peak at 9.7 billion in 2064, and then decline to about 8.8 billion by the end of the century, as women get better access to education and contraception, a new study has found.
By 2100, 183 of 195 countries will not have fertility rates required to maintain the current population, with a projected 2.1 births per woman, researchers from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine said.
Some 23 countries – including Japan, Thailand, Italy, and Spain – will see populations shrink by more than 50%, researchers said

Bereits 2001 kam eine Studie von Wolfgang Lutz (International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, Österreich), Warren Sanderson (Departments of Economics and History, State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York) und Sergei Scherbov (University of Groningen, Niederlande) zu dem Ergebnis, dass unter Berücksichtung der vorliegenden erkennbaren Faktoren und verschiedenen Statistiken selbst nach den pessimistischten Einschätzungen die Weltbevölkerung bis zum Ende des 21.Jahrhunderts
– mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 85 % aufgehört hat zu wachsen
– mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 60 % die Marke von 10 Milliarden Menschen nicht überschreiten wird
– und mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 15 % unter der Marke von 2001, nämlich 6 Milliarden Menschen liegen wird.
Die Studie trägt den Namen “Das Ende des Wachstums der Weltbevölkerung” (3, 4).

PEI Bericht: 323.684 Covid Impf Nebenwirkungen und 3.023 Todesfälle
Das Paul-Ehrlich-Institut verzeichnet in seinem neuesten Sicherheitsbericht vom 07.09.22 speziell für die Covid Impfstoffe insgesamt 323.684 (zuletzt 31.12.21 mit 244.576) Meldungen mutmaßlicher Nebenwirkungen zwischen dem 27. Dezember 2020 und dem 30. Juni 2022. Laut PEI wurden in diesem Zeitraum von 1,5 Jahren insgesamt 182,7 Millionen (31.12.21 mit 148,8 Millionen) Covid Impfdosen verabreicht.
Das PEI registrierte für den Zeitraum der letzten 20 Jahre – vom 1. Januar 2000 bis zum 31. Dezember 2020 – für die Gesamtheit aller in diesen zwei Jahrzehnten eingesetzten Impfstoffe genau 54.488 gemeldete Fälle mit mutmaßlichen Nebenwirkungen.
Nur jeder achte „Corona-Intensivpatient“ wegen Corona in Behandlung: Unglaubliche Zahlen aus Österreich
„Aktuell 22 Prozent der Corona-Spitalsfälle ‘wegen‘ Covid im Krankenhaus“, titelt das Zentralorgan des rotgrünen Zeitgeists in Österreich. Und weiter wird ausgeführt: „Knapp mehr als ein Fünftel aller Corona-positiven Fälle im Spital wird mit Covid-19-Symptomatik eingeliefert. Im Intensivbereich sind es zwölf Prozent.“
Und ich kann mich noch gut an die gehässigen Blicke der Kollegen und die spöttischen Antworten der Regierungssprecher in der Bundespressekonferenz erinnern, wenn ich genau zu diesem Thema Auskunft wollte:

Diese Zahl liege 12 Prozent oder 9 130 Fälle über dem mittleren Wert (Median) der Jahre 2018 bis 2021 für diesen Monat. Wie bereits im Juni seien die Sterbefallzahlen dabei vor allem in Phasen sehr hoher Temperaturen erhöht gewesen, heißt es weiter.

Die Regierung hat lediglich die Kompetenz Gesetze umzusetzen, nicht mit Verordnungen um sich zu schmeissen und gleich die ganze Demokratie außer Kraft zu setzen.
Das „Robert Koch Institut“ ist eine Regierungsbehörde. Eine Re-gier-ungs-be-hör-de.
Hat der Bundestag oder dessen „Ausschuss für Gesundheit“, von dem Sie nie gehört haben, zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt die Angaben der Regierungsbehörde „Robert Koch Institut“ kontrolliert?
Sind innerhalb des gesamten fünfmonatigen Ausnahmezustands, oder gar vorher, die gewählten Abgeordneten des Parlaments auch nur ein einziges Mal bei dieser zu drei heiligen Buchstaben aus dem Morgenlande geronnenen Behörde aufgetaucht und haben irgendetwas, auch nur eine der auserwählten Zahlen denen sich diese Bananenrepublik zu Füßen geworfen hat, tatsächlich überprüft? Haben sie kontrolliert, woher dieses ganze neue Zahlentestament überhaupt stammt, wer es zusammengezählt oder einfach erzählt hat? Haben sie Akten studiert, Datenbanken durchforstet, vor Ort, so als ginge es für sie um einen Steuernachlass von 500 Euro wegen eines neuen, potentiell absetzbaren Smart Devices in ihrer 7-Zimmer-Villa, also praktisch um ihr Leben?

COVID-19 vaccines linked to small increase in menstrual cycle length

The team found that women who received a COVID-19 vaccine had an average increase in cycle length of nearly one day for each dose. Among women who received a two-dose vaccine, the first dose was associated with a 0.71-day increase in cycle length and the second dose with a 0.91-day increase. After adjustment for age, race and ethnicity, BMI, education, and other factors, the change in cycle length was still less than one day for each dose.
Receiving two vaccine doses within the same menstrual cycle increased the cycle length further—about two days on average. Women’s cycle lengths often fluctuate, and experts consider cycle variation of up to eight days to be normal. The longer menstrual cycles after vaccination decreased in subsequent cycles, suggesting they are likely temporary. The researchers did not find any effect of COVID-19 vaccination on the number of menstrual bleeding days.
Fertility rates down, death rates up as pandemic upends country’s demographics
The coronavirus pandemic has done a doozy on the country’s demographics, with fertility rates plummeting and death rates higher than expected for years to come, the Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday.
Analysts are now figuring an additional 140,000 deaths per year, or about 4.5% extra, for the rest of this decade.
The fertility rate, meanwhile, has dropped to 1.6 births per woman. Even when it begins to rise again, it will plateau at 1.75 births — well below the 1.9 births CBO figured on before the pandemic, and far less than the 2.1-birth “replacement rate” needed to maintain the population.

But a new report released Tuesday from the National Center for Health Statistics, part of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention that compiles health data and science, reveals that birth rates in the U.S. are not collapsing, and in fact rose 1% in 2021.
“The 1% increase in the number of births in 2021 was the first increase in births since 2014,” researchers for the National Vital Statistics System, the division within the NCHS that produces reports using birth data, wrote. The data, which is based on registered birth certificates, is provisional and could be subject to change.

Ähnliche Entwicklungen werden aus der Schweiz, Schweden, Taiwan, dem UK, Slowenien und einzelnen US-Bundesstaaten gemeldet. Aber sind diese Daten verlässlich?
Die Lebendgeburtenrate ist eine der statistischen Größen, die in Industrieländern seit vielen Jahrzehnten – in Deutschland seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts – staatlich erhoben werden. Es handelt sich also um solide Informationen, die kaum als „fake news“ bezeichnet werden können.

Sterblichkeit aus allen Gründen und Geburten sind die harte Währung der Demografie um die Wirksamkeit medizinischer Maßnahmen zu beurteilen. Und das Urteil fällt für die Corona Maßnahmen und die Impfkampagne katastrophal aus.

Offizielle altersstandardisierte Daten zeigen: In 38 Jahren im Zeitraum von 1980-2021 war die Sterblichkeit höher als in 2020, in 35 Jahren höher als in 2021.
Beim Vergleich aller Jahre im Zeitraum 1980-2021 zeigen die Pandemiejahre 2020 und 2021 mit die geringsten Sterblichkeiten auf.

Von den aktuell 18.388 ITS Betten sind nur 665 von PCR Covid Fällen belegt (mit oder ohne Symptome).

Deutlich überdurchschnittlich fielen die Lohnsteigerungen bei Beschäftigten in Erziehung und Unterricht (plus 5,0 Prozent), in der Land- und Forstwirtschaft sowie der Fischerei (plus 4,9 Prozent) und in der Öffentlichen Verwaltung, Verteidigung und Sozialversicherung (plus 4,6 Prozent) aus. Hier machten sich vor allem die Corona-Prämien für die Tarifbeschäftigten im Öffentlichen Dienst der Länder und Kommunen bemerkbar.
