MAGNIFICA HUMANITAS DES HEILIGEN VATERS LEO XIV. ÜBER DIE BEWAHRUNG DES MENSCHEN IM ZEITALTER DER KÜNSTLICHEN INTELLIGENZ

‘Dialogue does not mean surrender’: Iran’s president

Masoud Pezeshkian says Tehran “enters into dialogue with dignity, authority, and the preservation of the nation’s rights”.

“And under no circumstances will it retreat from the legal rights of the people and the country,” the Iranian president wrote on X.

“We will serve the people with logic and with all our might, to the end, and safeguard the interests and honour of Iran.”

Pezeshkian hails Pope’s ‘moral stance’ against US-Israeli war on Iran

In a message addressed to the leader of the world’s Catholics, Pezeshkian stated that the “destructive approach” of the United States and Israel, along with their “illegitimate attacks,” are not directed solely against Iran.

He argued that they are an assault on the rule of law at the global level, international law, human values, and the teachings of divine religions, adding that the costs of this dangerous approach will inevitably be borne by the entire international community.

GUIDO IS COMING DOWN AFTER 5 DAYS ON THE BRIDGE

After five days on top of the bridge, Guido is finally coming down.

Through wind, rain, and exhaustion, he stayed up there to sound the alarm about the wars in Iran, Gaza, Lebanon, and Palestine and to remind all of us that silence is not an option.

He risked his life to send a message and now we all have a responsibility to do more.

Thank you, Guido.

Iran says US Deal Possible If Washington ends ‘Authoritarian Mindset’

Iranian sources indicated that Pezeshkian called potential agreement with the United States as “not out of reach,” suggesting that Tehran still sees diplomatic space despite ongoing disputes.

The core of Iran’s position remains unchanged, while it is open to negotiations, it insists that talks must be conducted without pressure, coercion, or what it views as unilateral demands from Washington. Iranian officials have repeatedly framed US policy toward Tehran as coercive, particularly in relation to long-standing disagreements over Iran’s nuclear program and regional influence.

Diplomacy channel open between US and Iran despite outstanding differences

“No one expected a big deal in Pakistan after 40 days of war,” he said. “Nevertheless, it was high-level direct negotiations, and they can continue to resolve the two remaining issues.”

Mousavian said what remained to be settled was freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear enrichment.

“I believe there is a solution for both,” he said.

Iran says it ‘would be dumb’ for US to let Netanyahu kill diplomacy

“If the US wishes to crater its economy by letting Netanyahu kill diplomacy, that would ultimately be its choice. We think that would be dumb but are prepared for it,” Araghchi wrote.

His comment mirrors language used by US Vice President JD Vance on Wednesday. Vance had warned against Iranians letting the ceasefire fall apart over Lebanon, saying, “We think that would be dumb, but that’s their choice.”

Truly Evil Trump Must Be Stopped—Now!

It is our responsibility as citizens of this nation to say unambiguously that what Trump is now threatening is truly evil. It’s our responsibility as human beings to demand that Trump repudiate this threat to other human beings. It is our responsibility to call on all other Americans, in whatever capacity, to stand up against this despotic act of pure immorality.

Write. Phone. Shout. March. Trump has moved beyond indecency into the realm of insanity. This must be stopped.

‘You Are Not Our Enemy’ – Iran’s President Sends Message to Americans – FULL TEXT

I invite you to look beyond the machinery of misinformation—an integral part of this aggression—and instead speak with those who have visited Iran. Observe the many accomplished Iranian immigrants—educated in Iran—who now teach and conduct research at the world’s most prestigious universities, or contribute to the most advanced technology firms in the West. Do these realities align with the distortions you are being told about Iran and its people?

Today, the world stands at crossroads. Continuing along the path of confrontation is more costly and futile than ever before. The choice between confrontation and engagement is both real and consequential; its outcome will shape the future for generations to come. Throughout its millennia of proud history, Iran has outlasted many aggressors. All that remains of them are tarnished names in history, while Iran endures—resilient, dignified, and proud.

Iran’s president to Americans: Look beyond war propaganda fog, reject ‘manufactured threat‘

The president sought to draw a sharp line between governments and their citizens, stating that the Iranian people harbor no ill will towards Americans. “The Iranian people harbor no enmity toward other nations, including the people of America, Europe, or neighboring countries” he wrote, describing this distinction as “a deeply rooted principle in Iranian culture and collective consciousness—not a temporary political stance.”

Building on this theme, Pezeshkian noted that the perception of Iran as a danger is an invention. He said such a view is “the product of political and economic whims of the powerful—the need to manufacture an enemy in order to justify pressure, maintain military dominance, sustain the arms industry, and control strategic markets.”

“In such an environment, if a threat does not exist, it is invented,” he added.

Iranian president says it does not view American people as enemies

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said ordinary Americans are not considered enemies despite longstanding tensions.

In a letter, he said Iranians “harbor no enmity” toward people in the US, Europe or neighbouring countries.

He added that Iran distinguishes between governments and the people they represent, describing it as a deeply rooted principle rather than a temporary political position.

I Was a US Intelligence Analyst. Israel and the US Are Lying to You About Iran

What was true in June still is true now: There’s no evidence the Iranian government is on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon (despite Netanyahu’s claims to the contrary for the past 30 years), the Iranian military do not have weapons that can strike the US (despite Trump’s claim to the contrary) – a fact confirmed by my old employer, the Defense Intelligence Agency – and Iran’s leaders had no intention of preemptively attacking US forces in the Middle East.

The Trump administration’s pained justification that Iran planned to fire missiles “preemptively, but if not, if not simultaneous, against with any actions against them,” is beyond dubious given that the Iranian government watched US forces posturing to attack for weeks and did not, in fact, launch a preemptive strike against them (and “simultaneous” is an exceptionally creative way to say “firing missiles after we start attacking them”).

If Iran really represented an immediate threat to the American people, why has Trump been telegraphing this attack since mid-January?
