1. There are established as principal organs of the United Nations: a General Assembly, a Security Council, an Economic and Social Council, a Trusteeship Council, an International Court of Justice and a Secretariat.

Article 94
1. Each Member of the United Nations undertakes to comply with the decision of the International Court of Justice in any case to which it is a party.
2. If any party to a case fails to perform the obligations incumbent upon it under a judgment rendered by the Court, the other party may have recourse to the Security Council, which may, if it deems necessary, make recommendations or decide upon measures to be taken to give effect to the judgment.

Article 96
– The General Assembly or the Security Council may request the International Court of Justice to give an advisory opinion on any legal question.
– Other organs of the United Nations and specialized agencies, which may at any time be so authorized by the General Assembly, may also request advisory opinions of the Court on legal questions arising within the scope of their activities.
Israel-Gaza conflict: Deepening concern for civilians, as UN school is hit
The head of the UN Palestine refugee agency (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini, has reported that at least six people were killed on Monday afternoon local time, when an UNRWA school being used as a shelter, was hit in the al-Maghazi camp in the middle region of the embattled Gaza Strip.
Dozens were injured (including UNRWA staff) and severe structural damage was caused to the school“, he said. „The numbers are likely to be higher. This is outrageous, and it again shows a flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians.“

Die Überreste der Rakete waren im April zufällig in einem Wald in der Nähe der polnischen Stadt Bydgoszcz in Nord-Zentral-Polen gefunden. In Reaktion auf den Fund erklärte Verteidigungsminister Mariusz Blaszczak, er habe nichts davon gewusst und beschuldigte die polnische Militärführung, ihn nicht über die Rakete informiert zu haben. Das Verteidigungsministerium gab später bekannt, dass die Rakete am 16. Dezember 2022 abgestürzt war, aber erst nach ihrem Fund eine Untersuchung eingeleitet worden sei.

Tatsächlich spricht nach Auffassung des Autors mehr dagegen als dafür, dass Amri den LKW in den Weihnachtsmarkt gesteuert und den polnischen Fahrer Lukasz U. erschossen hat. In der Fahrerkabine der Zugmaschine wurden beispielsweise keine Fingerabdrücke und keine belastbaren DNA-Spuren von Amri gefunden, stattdessen aber mehrfach Genmaterial einer unbekannten bisher nicht identifizierten Person.

Breitscheidplatz-Anschlag: Geschwärzte Akten und offene Fragen
Bei aller Kritik: Der Ausschuss hat viel ans Licht gebracht und verbessert: Hinterbliebene von Terroropfern hatten vorher kaum oder keine Ansprechpartner, das ist nun klarer geregelt – ebenso wie Fragen der Entschädigung und des Opferschutzes. Am Ende bleibt der Eindruck, dass Hinterbliebene und Abgeordnete zwar Aufklärung wollten – aber am deutschen Behörden-Wirrwarr oft genug verzweifelt sind.
Sachsen-Anhalt und die Fehler von SPD und Linken
Am Ende lässt das Wahlergebnis den kritischen Beobachter deprimiert und ratlos zurück. Es gibt zwar den Wunsch nach Alternativen und einer progressiven Politik, die sich gegen ein Auseinanderdriften der Gesellschaft, für eine fairere Reichtums- und Vermögensverteilung, für gerechte Renten und für eine Entspannungs- und Friedenspolitik stellt. Es gibt jedoch keine größere Partei, der die Wähler diese inhaltliche Ausrichtung abnehmen und in diesem Punkt haben die Wähler ja leider auch recht.

Amri-Ausschuss: Verfassungsschutz lieferte Akten nicht

Der Bundestagsausschuss zum Anschlag am Berliner Breitscheidplatz hat die Beweisaufnahme beendet. Doch nun stellt sich heraus, dass der Verfassungsschutz mehrere Aktenordner zum Umfeld des Terroristen Amri nicht geliefert hat.
Mehr als vier Jahre nach dem Attentat vom #Breitscheidplatz will das @bka nun doch noch Asservate selbst in Augenschein zu nehmen, statt nur auf Akteneinsicht zu vertrauten. „Für neue Ermittlungsansätze zu spät“, fürchtet @martinarenner . #UA1BT
