Heute dominiert die Entlassung von [Verteidigungsminister] Gavin Williamson wegen Weitergabe von Informationen die Schlagzeilen der britischen Medien. Es wird viel darĂŒber diskutiert, ob er Dokumente weitergegeben hat, was seine Motive waren, etc. Das ist nicht meine Sorge. Doch was ich bemerkenswert fand, war die Tatsache, dass niemand das grundlegende Recht des Daily Telegraph in Frage stellte, diese Informationen zu veröffentlichen.
Niemand stellt das in Frage. Niemand bezweifelt, dass es richtig ist, wenn ein Medienunternehmen Informationen veröffentlicht, auch wenn die Leute vielleicht das Motiv der Person hinterfragen, die sie ihm zugespielt hat. Warum fordern die Leute nicht, dass der Herausgeber des Daily Telegraph Julian Assange in Belmarsh Gesellschaft leistet?â

Schon wieder Angriff auf das Grundgesetz: SchÀuble stellt Bundesrat in Frage

Da es sich hier ohne Zweifel um die Frage der „grundsĂ€tzlichen Mitwirkung der LĂ€nder“ handelt, wenn Gesetze nur noch mit „Mehrheit der abgegeben Stimmen“ und dementsprechend auch VerfassungsĂ€nderungen mit Zweidrittelmehrheit der abgegeben Stimmen im Bundesrat beschlossen werden dĂŒrften (wĂ€hrend im Bundestag natĂŒrlich weiter die Regelung fĂŒr die jeweils absolute Anzahl der Stimmen, der „Mitglieder des Bundestages“ gilt) ist diese Forderung SchĂ€ubles per Grundgesetz ausdrĂŒcklich verboten.
Nochmal in Zeitlupe: im Bundestag wĂŒrde dank der eindeutigen Formulierung die Anzahl der Mitglieder die absolute Mehrheit definieren, nach SchĂ€ubles Plan (der auch hier wieder die LĂŒcke im Grundgesetz sucht) wĂ€ren es demnach die Teilnehmer der Abstimmung.
SchÀubles konkrete Hintergedanken sind ebenfalls schon formuliert: eine Enthaltung soll demnach nicht mehr als Teilnahme an der Abstimmung gelten.
Seine Aufforderung an die Parteien SPD, CDU und CSU nun das Grundgesetz dahingehend zu „Ă€ndern“ ist eine offene und eindeutige Aufforderung es zu stĂŒrzen und juristisch als Hochverrat zu werten.
Relativ schnell reagierte die Fraktionsvorsitzende der GrĂŒnen im Bundestag, Renate KĂŒnast:
„Dieser Minister hat entweder die Demokratie nicht verstanden, oder er will sie abschaffen. In beiden FĂ€llen ist er als Innenminister untragbar.“

Local elections: Conservatives lose more than 1,300 councillors
The Conservatives have lost 1,334 councillors, with Theresa May saying voters wanted the main parties to „get on“ with Brexit.
Labour also lost 82 seats in the English local elections, in which it had been expected to make gains.
