GAZA, September 17, 2026 (WAFA) â The death toll from the war of extermination waged by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,821, and 174,897 others were injured since October 7, 2023.
Medical sources reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received five slain peopleâincluding two who succumbed to previously sustained woundsâand 28 new injury cases over the past 24 hours.
A building damaged by Israeli strikes collapsed suddenly in Gaza City early Wednesday, killing at least 21 people in their sleep, including 11 children, in a disaster that forced rescuers to dig through the rubble with bare hands.
The sudden collapse of the building, which was known to be unstable due to damage from Israeli strikes earlier in the war, underscored how perilous and desperate living conditions have grown for the majority of the enclave‘s population as a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas stalls.

The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon over the past three years has exceeded 8,900, while the number of injured has reached nearly 30,600, according to Lebanese health authorities.
Israeli attacks from October 2023 to September 2026 killed 8,920 people and injured 30,595 others, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said in a statement on Saturday.
The number of people killed since Israel escalated attacks on Lebanon on 2 March has risen to 4,386, with 12,407 others wounded, according to Lebanonâs Ministry of Public Health.

1. The Government of Israelâs actions in the West Bank are undermining the possibility of a two-State solution. The situation is rapidly deteriorating amid unprecedented levels of settler violence and settlement expansion, including the unacceptable decision to publish tenders for the E1 settlement project. UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, the President of France Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney have agreed on the need to take action to prevent further damage.
Today, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK confirm their intention to introduce national and/or support European restrictions on trade in goods with settlements which are illegal under international law, or that they are actively considering these and other measures, in accordance with their national procedures. In this regard, the UK, France and Canada welcome the important action already taken by Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway and Belgium and will bring forward national measures to ban trade in settlement goods.

U.K. Foreign Minister Ed Miliband said the British sanctions would target specific companies and individuals who provide services including construction, infrastructure, financing or real estate for settlement expansion, as well as sanctions against individual settlers accused of violence against Palestinians.
„The set of measures I have announced represents a clear message to the government of Israel, to the Palestinians in the Occupied Territories, and to the world that we will not acquiesce in the destruction of the two-state solution,“ Miliband said.

Israeli strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon late on Friday killed at least three people and injured 23, the Lebanese health ministry said.
The ministry said in a statement that strikes hit five locations in the southern Tyre and Nabatieh regions and the Bekaa region in the east.
It updated an earlier toll given by Lebanese official media, which had reported two of the deaths in the south.

GAZA, September 5, 2026 (WAFA) â Rescue teams in the Gaza Strip recovered on Saturday the remains of 55 Palestinians from beneath the rubble of a home destroyed by Israeli forces in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, on November 19, 2023, during the genocidal war.
The rescue teams said they recovered the bodies and remains of 55 Palestinians from beneath the rubble of the Malka family home, which Israeli forces destroyed while more than 60 people had sought shelter inside after being displaced from their homes in fear of intense Israeli bombardment nearly two years ago.
The latest casualties include five new fatalities, one person who died from previous wounds and 11 bodies recovered from beneath debris. Additional victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, with ambulance and civil defence teams still unable to reach them, it added.
In April 2026, UN OCHA reported 925 movement obstacles that permanently or intermittently restrict the movement of 3.4 million Palestinians in the West Bank, marking a 20-year high that is 43% more than the annual average during the last 20 years. They said Gaza hospitals received nine fatalities over the past 24 hours.
The UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said Monday night that peacekeepers continue to report âextensive destructionâ of civilian infrastructure across southern Lebanon, warning that entire neighborhoods have been wiped out and some destruction appears âsystematic rather than selective.â
UNIFIL spokesperson Kandice Ardiel told UN Radio that peacekeepers had documented widespread damage and destruction from Kafr Kila to Khiam and Naqoura.

Louai Ridi, a Palestinian American, has been effectively trapped on his property since settlers first arrived in the area on Aug. 9. The settlers pitched a tent surrounding Ridiâs home before cutting water pipes and electricity lines and blocking roads leading to his property, making it extremely difficult for the Ridi family and other residents to go about the area.
Videos posted by Cassif, Zo Haderekh and the Palestinian families have brought international attention to the standoff, creating an unusual degree of pressure on the Israeli government and its military.
Israeli soldiers blocked Knesset member Ofer Cassif from reaching a Palestinian family home in the occupied West Bank village of Qusra, where settlers have maintained a 17-day siege.
