Tuqu Mayor Muhammad al-Badan said that as mourners dispersed following the funeral of 16-year-old Ammar Sabah who was killed on Monday evening, a few youth remained at the northern entrance to the town, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
An illegal settler then got out of his vehicle and opened fire at them, killing Muheeb Ahmed Jibril and seriously wounding another young man, the report added.
According to WAFA correspondent, armed colonists from the illegal colonial outpost of Karmei Tzur, built on Palestinian land, attacked a group of farmers with stones, clubs, and pepper spray as they attempted to reach their farmland in the Wardan area between Beit Ummar and Halhul.
According to Hadash MK Ayman Odeh: “It is expected of every person to understand that this move by Netanyahu is intended for one purpose: that you talk about it… and not talk about the execution in Jenin by Ben Gvir’s platoons, not about the targeted elimination of the two children on Sunday in Gaza, not about the regime coup, not about the budget that will harm each and every one of you, not about the political violence, not about the ethnic cleansing, not about the unbearable crime and murder in Arab society, and not about the economic and social situation that’s at an unprecedented low…that you talk about the ‘pardon’ that is imagined, but that you do not talk about the abandonment, the destruction, or about the simple fact that Netanyahu is a war criminal, and should stand trial in The Hague”.
Protesters have rallied outside the home of Israeli President Isaac Herzog, demanding he reject Prime Minister Netanyahu‘s request for a pardon on corruption charges.
The move has divided his political opponents as well as the Israeli people.

RAMALLAH, November 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesperson for President Mahmoud Abbas, said today that Israel’s ongoing war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, will not achieve security or stability for anyone, and will not grant legitimacy to any measures taken by Israeli authorities.
He stated that the continued Israeli military offensive in Tubas for the third consecutive day, along with the aggression on Jenin and its refugee camp and on Tulkarm and its two refugee camps, will keep the region trapped in a cycle of violence and escalation.
The most disturbing aspect is the total impunity given to Israel by the international community – Israel’s Western allies in particular – for the genocide in Gaza and ongoing attacks in the occupied West Bank, he added.
“What they’re lacking is the political will to act and the moral courage to act, and that’s really shameful,” said Parnes.
DAMASCUS, Syria — Israeli forces raided a Syrian village and opened fire when they were confronted by residents Friday, killing at least 13 people, Syrian officials said, in the deadliest Israeli attack since troops seized a swath of southern Syria a year ago.
Syria’s Foreign Ministry called the attack a “horrific massacre” and said women and children were among those killed.

We are appalled at the brazen killing by Israeli border police yesterday of two Palestinian men in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, in an apparent summary execution.
Killings of Palestinians by Israeli security forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank have been surging, without accountability, even in the rare cases when investigations are announced. Following yesterday’s incident, which was caught on film by a TV channel, an internal review was announced. But statements by a senior Israeli government official sought to absolve Israeli security forces of responsibility, raising serious concerns about the credibility of any future review or investigation conducted by any entity that is not fully independent from the Government.
Our Office has verified that since 7 October 2023 and up until 27 November 2025 , Israeli forces and settlers killed 1,030 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Among these victims were 223 children.
Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian men who appeared to be surrendering during a raid in Jenin, with graphic footage showing the unarmed pair lifting their shirts, lying on the ground, and then being directed back inside a building before being fired upon at close range.
The UN human rights office, OHCHR said on Friday that it was “appalled” by the “brazen killing” of two Palestinian men by Israeli border police in the West Bank, describing it as “an apparent summary execution.”
The shooting occurred on Thursday in Jenin and was apparently caught on film by a TV channel, OHCHR Spokesperson Jeremy Laurence told journalists in Geneva.

Minister Assaf also called on Arab information ministers to collectively negotiate with global digital platforms to reverse their biased positions in favor of the occupation forces and their narrative, and to stop combating Palestinian content, asserting that the Palestinian narrative and discourse have triumphed over the fabricated Israeli narrative.
He called on concerned Arab and international institutions and bodies to intensify their efforts to document and expose the occupation‘s crimes against the Palestinian media and people, enhance solidarity campaigns, and pressure to end the unlawful protection enjoyed by the perpetrators.
„The male and female journalists in Palestine have embodied the highest meanings of national and professional belonging, and have continued to fulfill their noble mission of revealing the truth and conveying the suffering of our people to the world, despite all the dangers. Since October 2023, alongside the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the Israeli military has been enforcing an increasingly permissive and reckless open-fire policy in the West Bank, including the use of airstrikes in populated areas. The military has also armed and mobilized thousands of settlers into regional defense battalions and rapid-response teams within settlements.
Under this blanket impunity, armed settlers attack Palestinians on a daily basis, burning homes, farmland and crops, looting property and killing residents. Although dozens of such attacks occur every day, and many are captured on video and well documented, Israeli law-enforcement authorities rarely open investigations.
In the 21 cases where settlers have killed Palestinians, not a single perpetrator has been convicted.
Our latest report reveals that over the past two years, up to August 2025, at least 94 Palestinians have died in Israeli detention facilities. Yet, the report stresses that this unprecedented figure likely represents only a portion of the full death toll. Given the Israeli military’s practice of enforced disappearances since October 2023, the actual number of deaths may be considerably higher. Moreover, since the report was completed, four more Palestinians have died in the past month alone, pushing the total close to triple digits – deaths caused by the systemic denial of medical care and the torture of Palestinians in Israeli custody. These policies persist even now, despite the ceasefire in Gaza.
The report is based on 94 documented cases between October 7, 2023, and August 2025. This unprecedented toll, together with extensive findings and evidence of deaths caused by torture and medical neglect, points to a deliberate Israeli policy of killing Palestinians in custody.
At least 46 Palestinians died in Israel Prison Service (IPS) facilities, and 52 more died in military custody.
Trump also called for a pardon for Netanyahu during a speech to Israel’s parliament last month, when he made a brief visit to promote his ceasefire plan for the war in Gaza.
In Wednesday’s letter to President Isaac Herzog, Trump called the corruption case “political, unjustified prosecution”.
The 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill, tabled by Pakistan‘s federal government and passed by the Senate on November 10, is far from a routine procedural adjustment. It represents a structural reconfiguration of the Pakistani state. The arrest of Tomer-Yerushalmi, who was, until her resignation last week, Israel’s military advocate general, is the latest development in a dramatic scandal that has been unfolding since February 2024.
It started with a complaint filed by a doctor who had served in the medical facility next to the Sde Teiman detention camp in the Negev desert in southern Israel. Professor Yoel Donchin reported that a detainee appeared to have been a victim of a severe assault. The detainee arrived at the hospital showing signs of beating and possible brutal sexual assault.
Though Netanyahu continues to act with the same old arrogant attitude that he, his government, and country are above the law, including international law, it is incumbent on all of us to remind him and other war criminals that no individual, no entity, and no government is immune to accountability when it comes to the blood of the innocent.
This struggle is not solely for the sake of Gaza; it is for the very soul of humanity. Should Netanyahu’s actions succeed in normalizing genocide in the 21st century, this horrific crime could become a sanctioned political strategy for tyrants and regimes worldwide. The world cannot afford to let this happen. The future of global justice hangs in the balance.
U.S. President Donald Trump has called for Israel to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or cancel his corruption trial, saying the U.S. would save him like it did his country.
Netanyahu was indicted in 2019 in Israel on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust – all of which Netanyahu denies. The trial began in 2020 and involves three criminal cases. He has pleaded not guilty.
Trump turned to the high court in a last-ditch effort to stop the hearing, citing the conservative majority’s explosive opinion in July that granted him and other former presidents immunity from criminal prosecution for their official acts.
But five of the nine justices said Trump’s immunity concerns about evidence presented at his trial can be addressed “in the ordinary course on appeal.”
The immense gravity of the case weighed heavily on the Supreme Court on Thursday, with justices across the ideological spectrum expressing fears of the new order they could unleash.
The immediate question is whether Trump will face trial in his Jan. 6 criminal case before the 2024 election. But the conservative-led court‘s decision will shape history well beyond November.

Attempting to imagine an escape route which also includes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s acquittal of criminal charges, is a result of the painful realization that the hawkish factions on both sides – even though one can‘t compare the governmental sadism led by Justice Minister Yariv Levin and the most rigid and militant anti-overhaul protesters – ignore the will of the majority and charge onward, almost with lust, to the very dangerous disagreement known as a constitutional crisis.
This hope, however, whether you want to surrender to it or to resist it in disgust, is in no way realistic. For now. According to knowledgeable sources, Netanyahu is simply not interested: not in stopping the judicial overhaul nor in a unity government.
