SYRIZA plays down defeat seen in exit polls
Governing SYRIZA âdid not sustain the strategic defeat that New Democracy was looking forward to,â government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said on Sunday after exit polls gave the conservative opposition a solid lead over the leftist party.

Kommunalwahlen in zehn LĂ€ndern
In Hamburg gelten die Bezirkswahlen als Testlauf fĂŒr die BĂŒrgerschaftswahl im Februar 2020. In Rheinland-Pfalz ist die Kommunalwahl auch ein Stimmungstest fĂŒr die Ampel-Koalitionen von SPD, FDP und GrĂŒnen im Landtag und in der Landeshauptstadt Mainz.

Laut aktueller Prognose der ARD kommt die SPD nur auf 24,5 Prozent der Stimmen (2015: 32,8 Prozent) und liegt damit sogar hinter der CDU. Die Christdemokraten kommen auf 25,5 Prozent und konnten damit gegenĂŒber 2015 (22,4 Prozent) zulegen.

Noch am Abend der Veröffentlichung vor rund einer Woche hatte das Zentrum fĂŒr Politische Schönheit (ZPS) selbst Spekulationen ĂŒber die Urheber angeheizt. Wohl als Erste verbreiteten die Aktivisten den Tweet, in dem ĂŒber weiteres Material spekuliert wurde. Abgesetzt worden war er ĂŒber ein Konto mit dem Namen „kurzschluss14“. Technische Daten belegen, dass dieses genau 14 Minuten vor der Veröffentlichung der Artikel erstellt worden war.
