This is a dangerous amendment that undermines Israel’s democratic character. Virtually its only purpose is to give the cabinet the power to prevent people from protesting in the places where they have been doing so until recently.

The Senate passed a resolution on Thursday reaffirming its support for a peaceful transition of power, one day after President Trump refused to commit to such a transition next year if he loses in the November election.
The resolution, offered by Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), passed by unanimous consent, meaning no senator objected to it.

So war das mal gedacht mit dem Biogas in den 80er-Jahren. Verwertung des auf dem Hof anfallenden Mists bzw. der Gülle in einer kleinen Biogasanlage, und dann erst den so verbesserten Dünger raus auf das Feld. Wie so oft wurde auch dieses so wunderbare Konzept ins Gegenteil verkehrt, um nicht zu sagen pervertiert.
Biogas: Potenziale
Im Jahr 2014 entspricht die Biogasproduktion in Deutschland etwa 20 % der Erdgasimporte aus Russland. Mit dem verbleibenden Potenzial können etwa weitere 10 % ersetzt werden, unter Berücksichtigung technischer und demografischer Entwicklungen bis zu insgesamt 55 %. In der EU entspricht die derzeitige Biogasproduktion etwa 6 % der Erdgasimporte aus Russland. Mit dem verbleibenden Potenzial können etwa weitere 26 % ersetzt werden, unter Berücksichtigung technischer und demografischer Entwicklungen bis zu insgesamt etwa 125 %.
Bedeutung der Bioenergie
Die Bioenergie hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren zur wichtigsten heimischen Energiequelle und zu einer tragenden Säule der Energieversorgung entwickelt. Durch die energetische Nutzung von Biomasse können kostspielige Importe von Erdgas und Erdöl aus teils politisch instabilen Staaten über weite Entfernungen verringert werden. Dies erhöht die Unabhängigkeit bei der Energieversorgung und mildert auch soziale Probleme bei der heimischen Bevölkerung, die durch steigende Öl-, Gas- und Kraftstoffpreise verursacht werden.

Bisher war die Gasinfrastruktur noch nie von den Protesten betroffen. Die Aktivisten kritisieren, dass die Produktionskette von Gas genauso klimaschädlich sei wie Kohlekraft, weil dabei Methan freigesetzt wird.

Breonna Taylor‘s family, lawyers blast Daniel Cameron over lack of charges in her death
Palmer‘s attorneys, Ben Crump, Lonita Baker and Sam Aguiar, specifically called on Cameron to release the grand jury transcript and recording to show what evidence and recommendations he presented.
„What we also want is for you to quit dodging the question. You were asked at the press conference (Wednesday): Did you make a recommendation“ to the grand jury, Baker asked. „You refused to answer. Answer the question: Did you even present any charges regarding Breonna Taylor to the grand jury?“
