100 soldiers stage mass walk-out at southern IDF base after row with their commander

(July 30, 2026)

Footage posted online showed the soldiers marching out of the base while chanting an obscenity against officers. Other footage from the base showed a disorganized mount of guns left behind by the soldiers, and the wreckage of the removed signs, including one with a hellish motif that read “Kingdom of Devils.”

The soldiers claimed the signs were “part of our company’s tradition.” According to the army, the signs contained materials meant to disparage rookie soldiers.

Infantry soldiers in the IDF have a history of hazing new recruits and of deserting en masse over alleged mistreatment by commanders.

Soldier seriously wounded during hazing ritual, 4 comrades indicted

(May 3, 2026)

In February, a female sergeant in the IDF Artillery Corps was indicted for abusing two corporals in her unit as part of a so-called hazing ritual. She was accused of abusing the two soldiers as a form of “punishment” for minor infractions, summoning them at night, whipping them with her dog tag, striking them with her rifle, and forcing them to sing, despite their pleas for the actions to stop.

Similarly, last summer, seven soldiers serving in the Israeli Air Force’s Arrow air defense system array were detained for the alleged abuse of junior soldiers. According to a Ynet report, the veteran soldiers were suspected of abuse, violence, threats and sex crimes.

Two More Israeli Soldiers Kill Themselves Amid Crisis Driven by Horrors of Genocide

According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, two female IDF troops—a combat soldier and an intelligence officer—died by suicide this week. Israeli Military Police said they are investigating both deaths, which bring the number of active duty IDF troops who have killed themselves this year to at least 16. Haaretz said that at least nine former IDF soldiers have also committed suicide after completing their military service in 2026.

The latest deaths underscore what military officials, mental health professionals, and veterans have increasingly described as one of the most severe psychological crises the Israeli military has faced in decades.

‘Destroy Gaza including kidnapped soldiers’ – leaked clip again proves Israel’s Hannibal Directive

(June 29, 2026)

The clip was shot very early on the morning of the raid. We know this because Israeli forces conducted ‘Hannibal Directive attacks’ on its own people, on average around three times an hour, from just after 6am that day until after 9pm. The Hannibal order was clarified as “kill anything that moves” – hundreds of Israelis were killed, including most of those slain at the ‘Nova’ music festival.

Israeli media admit this. Israeli military figures have admitted killing an “immense” number of their own people. Israel’s then-defence minister, wanted war criminal Yo’av Gallant, admitted it – and said he wished it had been used more. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu allegedly even tried to have one specific captured soldier killed before his release from Gaza to prevent a ceasefire.

UK politicians and media continue to keep silent about it – and even attack those who expose it.

‘To call it a ceasefire is a joke‘: Israeli soldiers share rare accounts from Gaza with AP

(May 30, 2026)

The Israeli combat soldier saw his teammates yelling in celebration, congratulating one another. They had just struck a vehicle of Palestinians driving near the Israeli-controlled part of the Gaza Strip, killing everyone inside.

The reservist said scenes like this had become common after a fragile ceasefire took effect in October. In the weeks he was stationed in Gaza, he said, he saw soldiers relishing the chance to go after those who crossed — or came close to crossing — the so-called yellow line that divides the strip into Israeli-controlled and Palestinian areas.

“It was a jungle,” the soldier, in his 20s, told The Associated Press. “After the ceasefire, the order was: If someone crosses the line, you shoot them.”

Iraq officials confirm second alleged Israeli base in desert

– U.S. reportedly knew of at least one Israeli base since June 2025 but likely withheld information from Iraq.

Iraq was compelled to shut down its radar to protect U.S. aircraft during both the 12-day war and the 2026 conflict.

– The concealment of Israeli operations intensified scrutiny over Iraq’s sovereignty and coalition transparency.

– Iraqi political figures called for full transparency and stronger oversight mechanisms to prevent foreign intrusion.

The secret Israeli bases scandal roiling Iraqi politics

In a deeply embarrassing development for Baghdad, Israel established two forward-operating bases (FOBs) for supporting air campaigns against Iran on federal Iraqi territory in a flagrant violation of Iraq’s already fragile sovereignty.

The Wall Street Journal reported the first base’s existence, in the barren Nukhaib desert southwest of the Shia shrine cities of Najaf and Karbala, on 9 May. The New York Times further revealed Sunday that Israel also set up a second base somewhere else in the country’s western desert regions that it operated for over a year and even used during the June 2025 12-day war.

Israel‘s secret base in Iraq: what happened in the western desert and why Baghdad couldn‘t respond

The physical record is not seriously in dispute, and it begins with a shepherd. On March 4, a local herder in the remote desert southwest of Najaf and Karbala reported unusual helicopter activity to military authorities in Najaf. Iraqi forces were dispatched. They came under fire from the air. One soldier was killed, and two were wounded. Baghdad submitted a protest note to the Global Coalition without naming who had fired, and the incident was quietly classified —until the Wall Street Journal named the party responsible on May 9.

WATCH: Slotkin Highlights 2016 Video, Hegesth says U.S. troops will not follow unlawful orders from the President

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) shared a 2016 video, first reported in CNN, where Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told an audience that the U.S. military “won’t follow unlawful orders from their commander in chief.” Words remarkably similar to Slotkin’s in a video she posted recently where she simply restated the law.

Major Pete Hegseth, in 2016 said:

“If you are doing something that is completely unlawful and ruthless then there is a consequence for that. That’s why the military said it won’t follow unlawful orders from their commander in chief. There’s a standard; there’s an ethos; there’s a belief that we are above so many things are enemies or others would do.”

Pentagon threatens to recall Sen. Mark Kelly to military service for court martial over illegal orders video

The investigation comes as President Donald Trump has been pushing relentlessly for consequences for Kelly and five other Democratic lawmakers over a video they made reminding servicemembers of their duty to disobey illegal orders, calling their actions “seditious” and “treason.”

Because Kelly was a senior officer who retired from the Navy, he is required to remain available for recall to the military by law. The other five lawmakers, Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Rep. Jason Crow, Rep. Maggie Goodlander, Rep. Chris Deluzio and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, are not eligible for recall to a military service.

“We are veterans and national security professionals who love this country and swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. That oath lasts a lifetime, and we intend to keep it. No threat, intimidation, or call for violence will deter us from that sacred obligation.“

“What’s most telling is that the President considers it punishable by death for us to restate the law. Our servicemembers should know that we have their backs as they fulfill their oath to the Constitution and obligation to follow only lawful orders. It is not only the right thing to do, but also our duty.“

“But this isn’t about any one of us. This isn’t about politics. This is about who we are as Americans. Every American must unite and condemn the President’s calls for our murder and political violence. This is a time for moral clarity.“

“In these moments, fear is contagious, but so is courage. We will continue to lead and will not be intimidated.“

On October 30, 1918, the naval garrison of Wilhelmshaven resisted the order to launch the operation against the British forces. Arrested by their officers, the mutineers were then brought to Kiel, where the local dock crews and workers joined their struggle. The rebellion soon spread through the coastal town, with soldiers and workers creating a council to demand the release of mutineers, freedom of speech, and the immediate stop of “all military measures” against the movement. Fearing the outbreak of a revolution, members of the Reichstag hastily traveled to Kiel, where they promised to accept the Soldiers’ and Workers’ Council demands.

By the time the government representatives arrived in Kiel, anti-war and pro-democracy protests had already reached countless coastal towns and ports.

Belgian Charged in Rwanda Deaths of 10 Peacekeepers

(December 30, 1995)

The Belgian paratroopers were guarding Rwandan Prime Minister Agathe Uwilingiyimana, who was also killed by rampaging Hutu soldiers.

Families of the troopers have charged that Marchal and other officers placed the lightly armed peacekeepers in a position of excessive danger and failed to launch a rescue mission after their capture.

Prosecutor Bernard Dejemeppe said the investigation found that Marchal could have done much more to prevent the deaths, including using other U.N. forces present, seeking the advice of other officers and better assessing the risks his men faced.
