Israeli Arabs Who Refuse to Vote Are Handing Netanyahu Victory on a Silver Platter
According to a report on Israeli voters issued last month by the Central Bureau of Statistics, Israeli Arabs comprise 16 percent of the total electorate.

It‘s torture to watch, but we have to share this everywhere. They have all let us down
It is no wonder voters are feeling more frustrated than ever before with established politicians – too many of them are not honouring their promises that a vote to Leave would be delivered on.
Israel Election 2019: Netanyahu‘s Party Places 1,200 Body Cameras in Arab Polling Sites
Police confiscated dozens of cameras while the Central Elections Committee‘s legal counsel said filming in polling stations was not allowed. Netanyahu: Cameras should be everywhere
How Israel‘s Resurgent Right Wing Killed Politics, Silenced the Left, and Pushes Autocracy – or Theocracy
In Israel‘s Orwellian elections, national ‚unity‘ means no Arabs, self-censorship is rife, ‚freedom‘ is vague and fear is a core political asset
Tonight I learned that you may innocently use two everyday words in a discussion that had nothing to do with Jews, Jewishness or even race at all, but because Stalin used the same words to attack Jews 70 years ago, your comment will be considered anti-Semitic. Utterly insane.
Impossible to overestimate the damage @UKLabour‘s #Brexit betrayal will do to the socialist cause. The message people will take away is: if it‘s not even possible to contest membership of a free trade area, how is one supposed to believe that it‘s possible to contest capitalism?
Exclusive: Liam Fox tells Tory MPs that Customs Union will be ‚worst of both worlds‘ in leaked letter
Liam Fox has told Tory MPs that a Customs Union is the „worst of both worlds“ and will leave Britain unable to set its own trade policy in a leaked letter obtained by The Telegraph.
The International Trade Secretary said that the UK will itself be „traded“ by the European Union as it sells access to British markets as part of future deals after Brexit.
European far-right parties unite into new alliance ahead of EU elections
The group includes Mr Salvini’s League, as well as France‘s far-right National Rally (formerly National Front), Austria‘s Freedom Party and the Netherland‘s Party for Freedom. Those parties have long sat together in the European Parliament.
But Mr Salvini was also joined on Monday by the far-right Alternative for Germany‘s co-leader Joerg Meuthen, Olli Kotro of the Eurosceptic populist Finns party, and Anders Vistisen of the right-wing, populist Danish People‘s Party.
Theresa May arrives in Berlin for Brexit talks with German leader Angela Merkel – but no one is there to greet her
Theresa May arrives in Europe to beg for Brexit delay
Theresa May has headed for top-level talks in Berlin and Paris as she seeks European support to stop us crashing out of the EU on Friday.
The prime minister exchanged a warm greeting with Angela Merkel and they spent an hour together in Berlin.
66% of Brits consider David Gauke’s statement regarding Brexit – that “sometimes you do have to accept your second or third choice in order to avoid an outcome you consider to be even worse”, to be generally good life advice

European elections are happening and they will be the most important in British history
Pro-Brexit MPs, whether they voted to leave or to remain, have long feared that holding European elections would provoke a political backlash. One MP in a marginal constituency recently told me that their constituents would “burn my office to the ground” when they received their polling cards in the mail.
Nein means NEIN! Merkel ‚will rebuff May‘s desperate pleas‘ in Berlin as Macron vows to get even TOUGHER on year-long Brexit delay with a ‚stop Boris‘ clause to prevent a new Brexiteer PM ‚vandalizing‘ the EU
– Theresa May will jet to Berlin and then on to Paris today to urge Merkel and Macron to agree Brexit delay
– Their price is expected to be to refuse to let the UK have any say in future EU budget talks and trade deals
Brexit news: Behave to earn long Article 50 extension, EU set to tell Theresa May
Theresa May was today ordered by Germany and France to accept “very strict” conditions in return for a Brexit delay.
In a fresh humiliation, the Prime Minister was told she can only have a longer extension of Article 50 if Britain is bound by a good behaviour contract.
As a commentator on Israel and Jewish life, I think I owe it to my readers on the eve of Israel‘s elections to tell readers where I stand. So here‘s my case: „Don‘t Vote for Bibi, Israel‘s Eminently Dispensable Man“
Please, Israel, VOTE HIM OUT.

Boycott Israel’s Election? A Palestinian Rapper Says No
(4.4.2019)
Frustrated over their choices in the Israeli election, and at Arab politicians whom they describe as ineffective, some Palestinian citizens of Israel have been gathering popular support for a boycott of Tuesday’s ballot.
But a well-known Palestinian hip-hop artist released a powerful new video on Thursday pushing back on the boycott, urging Arab citizens not to waste their votes — and expressing hope that a strong turnout on Tuesday could help send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu packing, or even “to prison.”
If You Think the Israeli Election Campaign Was Revolting, Just Wait for When Netanyahu Wins
At 10 P.M. Tuesday night we’ll turn the page, and everything that was shouted, written, broadcast and rehashed ad nauseam for the past 106 days will be erased as if it never existed.
If this election campaign was one of the ugliest ever, the coalition negotiations between the party forming the government and its six or seven potential partners, which will begin at 10:05 P.M., will make many people miss the campaign.

May, Macron und Merkel: Kriegskoalition gegen das World Wide Web
(14. Juni 2017)

The Tories’ bid to police the internet is a big mistake
(8.4.2019)
Today, a Government in dire need of a good news story has mooted legislation resulting in the very opposite. The Conservative manifesto from 2017 said:
“Some people say that it is not for government to regulate when it comes to technology and the internet. We disagree.”
Now the Tories are delivering on their promise. But their attempt to police the internet should worry us all. The “Online Harms” white paper calls for an independent watchdog to write a “code of practice” for tech companies.
Cooper in 2017: Not Respecting Referendum Result Would Be Trumpian
Yvette Cooper, who has been conspiring for weeks to create the conditions whereby the result could be reversed, had a very different attitude before the snap General Election.
In defence of Brexit passion: The police want us Brexiteers to tone down our language – fuck that.
The British establishment has some front. First it decimates our democratic rights by doing everything within its considerable power to dilute, degrade or thwart entirely the thing that 17.4million of us voted for: Brexit. Then it virtually criminalises us if we get angry about this. It treats us as speechcriminals if we fume against the undermining of our vote or describe as ‘traitors’ those MPs who have devoted their every waking hour to making sure Brexit doesn’t happen. The elite’s war on the democratic vote for Brexit is now attended by a complementary war on public anger
Vergesst den „Brexit“. Die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika wollen ihren Klon über den Kontinent Europa.
(22. Juni 2016)
Diese „Union“, dieses „Europa“ ist ein Fluch. Sonst gar nichts.
Don‘t be surprised if Brexit is stopped – the EU has developed a talent for riding roughshod over voters‘ wishes
(8.4.2019)
A golden rule of politics is always to listen to my friend Daniel. The night of the referendum, as the results came in, my old comrade was both upbeat and realistic. “It’s a great victory,” he said, “but you realise they’ll never let it happen.”
Brexit: Theresa May to meet Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron
Theresa May is to hold last-minute Brexit talks with the leaders of Germany and France later, four days before the UK is due to leave the EU.
Mrs May is meeting Angela Merkel in Berlin, followed by Emmanuel Macron in Paris, to urge them to back her request to delay Brexit again until 30 June.
Brexit delay bill receives royal assent and is signed into law after it is raced through Parliament
Yvette Cooper‘s backbench Bill aimed at forcing Theresa May to request a Brexit extension rather than leave the EU with no deal has been signed into law.
The cross-party European Union (Withdrawal) (No 5) Bill received royal assent after it was backed by MPs and peers on Monday night.
