Netanyahu Appoints Justice Minister Who Supports Immunity From Indictment for Prime Minister
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appointed Likud lawmaker Amir Ohana as justice minister on Wednesday. Political sources told Haaretz that Ohana was appointed because unlike other Likud members, he supports changes that would grant immunity from indictment to acting prime ministers, as Netanyahu is facing possible indictment in three cases of fraud, bribery and breach of trust.
AG William Barr Doesn‘t Want The Government Spying On The President But Thinks It‘s OK If It Spies On Everyone Else
Let me restate that: William Barr is opposed to certain, very narrow subsets of domestic surveillance. Specifically, Barr doesn‘t think the government should have spied on Trump and his campaign staff, if that‘s what actually happened, which Barr doesn‘t actually seem to know.
But if you‘re literally anyone else, domestic surveillance is just another name for national security, whether you‘re a random Verizon customer or one of the world‘s most useful websites.

In einer Erhebung des Meinungsforschungsinstituts YouGov stimmten 52 Prozent für einen solchen Schritt, nur 27 Prozent wünschten sich eine Fortsetzung des Bündnisses von Union und SPD. 21 Prozent machten keine Angaben.
Von den befragten SPD-Wählerinnen und -Wählern sind sogar 58 Prozent für ein Ende der großen Koalition und nur 26 dagegen.
