Nachdem zu Beginn der syrischen Demokratiebewegung klar wurde, dass ein GroĂteil der syrischen Bevölkerung schlicht passiv blieb (und damit das Regime stabilisierte), gingen die interventionistisch-imperialistischen Invasoren schlicht dazu ĂŒber auf die bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt friedlichen Demonstrationen zu feuern. Entsprechende ScharfschĂŒtzen postierte man so, dass sie nicht zu lokalisieren waren. AnschlieĂend schob man es dem Regime in die Schuhe, was an einer blutigen Eskalation von aussichtslosen Protesten stigmatisierter Dissidenten ĂŒberhaupt kein Interesse haben konnte. Dies wurde solange fortgesetzt, bis die öffentliche Meinung (im eigenen Hinterland der kriegfĂŒhrenden Staaten) eine Intervention eigener bewaffneter irregulĂ€rer und/oder Sonder-Einheiten akzeptierte, die unter dem erfundenen MĂ€rchen einer „freien Armee“ voller blitzkrieggelĂ€uterter ĂberlĂ€ufer des Regimes operierten.
