While the DNS has been refined and extended since it was standardized in 1983, its privacy properties have not. As designed, DNS information is sent unencrypted across the Internet, and thus is viewable by anyone along the path, resulting in lack of privacy.
Perhaps the biggest risk is that it’s so easy to forget DNS exists…! It’s hard to know or care about something you never see.

מ‘ ול‘ נעצרו באוקטובר 2024 בא-תוואני בדרום הר חברון, בזמן שליוו את משפחת הורני באדמתם הפרטית. הם ביקשו להישאר בעילום שם, למען ביטחונם ומחשש להשלכות משפטיות בגרמניה. אחרי מעצרם הם נחקרו על ידי היחידה שהקים בן גביר לטיפול בפעילי סולידריות. הם בילו כמה ימים במעצר ואז אולצו לחצות את הגבול לירדן.
לפני שחצו את הגבול שוטרים צילמו אותם, וזמן קצר אחרי שגורשו, השר בן גביר פרסם את הצילום עם טשטוש פנים, וכתב: „2 אנרכיסטים תומכי טרור בעלי אזרחות גרמנית – נכנסו בערב ראש השנה ליישוב חוות מעון בדרום הר חברון הפריעו והתעמתו עם חיילים. צוות מיוחד שהקמתי במשטרת ישראל מיד עם פרוץ המלחמה, פעל בנחישות ובמהירות לעצור ולגרש אותם דרך מעבר אלנבי, ולפעול שלא יוכלו להיכנס לשטח ישראל בשנית. רק ככה זה עובד!“.
ל‘ מספרת: „הכל התחיל כשחייל-מתנחל ניגש אלינו וביקש את הדרכונים שלנו. לא מסרנו אותם מיד. שאלנו אותו – ‚מי אתה בכלל? אתה חייל? יש לך סמכות לעשות את זה?‘ הוא חזר על הבקשה, ואז פשוט התחיל לקרוא לאנשים. הגיעו חיילים, לקחו את הדרכונים שלנו, החזירו אותם ונראה כאילו הכל בסדר. אבל אז הגיע מתנחל שהיו לנו כבר מפגשים איתו, ואמר להם משהו על רמאללה. הוא המשיך להתעקש, וגם רצה לראות שוב את הדרכונים שלנו. הרגשנו שהוא מסית אותם“.
מ‘ ממשיך: „בסופו של דבר האשימו אותנו ב‘הפצת תוכן תומך טרור‘ ברשתות החברתיות או משהו כזה, וזה היה קשור לצילום שלנו בהפגנה ברמאללה. זו היתה התמונה שהמתנחל זיהה, והיא כנראה נלקחה מסרטון שפורסם בפייסבוק של הבחור שנאם שם. הוא העלה תמונה של כל האנשים שעמדו שם בעמוד הפייסבוק הפרטי שלו, שלא היו לו הרבה עוקבים או לייקים, והם איכשהו מצאו את זה והשתמשו בזה כהוכחה נגדנו.

“It was so absurd,” M. continued. “My first thought was, how did that photo go from a police officer to the National Security Minister’s office in just two hours? They must have WhatsApp groups where they share everything. Honestly, I was kind of glad they blurred our faces, because that really could have had consequences.”
“In Germany, the Anti-Deutsch do almost exactly what the settlers do — they collect photos of Palestinians and anti-Zionist individuals, and post images from places where we meet people,” L. explained. “And there are attacks too. I feel like it‘s obviously meant to intimidate, to target individuals, to show that ‘we see you, internationals.’ And especially with this entire police apparatus, the goal is for us to be on their radar and to be hunted down.”

Erst dann wird der Kampf gegen den Terror(Krieg) und die seit 2001 in seinem Schatten exekutierten Angriffskriege, der Kampf gegen Imperialismus, Kapitalismus, elektronischen Polizeistaat, Republikverbrauch und Demokratieabbau, sowie deren autoritären Symptome und Fusstruppen von rechts, wieder eine Chance haben. Genauso wie dann für die eigentlichen, positiven Inhalte, die alten Ideen um die zu erringen es geht, endlich wieder die Zeit gekommen ist.
Erst dann werden sich neue Organisationen gründen welche den Ansprüchen tatsächlich entsprechen und wirklich von dieser Welt sind. Bis hin zu der neuen Partei, die sich als ungenießbar entpuppt.

The so-called ‘big data’ that experts and companies use on a daily basis for their ads, research and strategies is generated by our everyday activities, and can be traced back to almost everything that we do. In our modern technological world, those with the ‘know-how’ can track just about every move that we make through our phones, bank cards, our cars, and even the pages that we scroll through on social media without clicking. All of these leave a trail, our digital fingerprint.

Wi-Vi is a new technology that enables seeing through walls using Wi-Fi signals. The video shows the output of Wi-Vi (blue window) when a person moves around in a room. It can track whether there is a moving human inside the room and how he is moving.
The armed wing of militant group Hamas said on Friday it will release Israeli hostages Eliya Cohen, Omer Shem Tov, Tal Shoham, Omer Wenkert, Hisham al-Sayed and Avera Mengisto on Saturday.
Hisham al-Sayed and Avera Mengisto are civilians, who entered Gaza a decade ago and have been held there since.
Hamas said on Friday it affirms its “seriousness and full commitment” to its obligations under the ceasefire agreement with Israel and pledged to examine Israel’s claims.
“We will examine these claims with complete seriousness,” the group said in a statement, adding that it will “announce the results clearly.”
“We have no interest in not committing or keeping any bodies with us,” it said.
The group also reiterated remarks made earlier by the Hamas-controlled Government Media Office in Gaza, which said that Shiri’s mutilated body may have been mixed up with other bodies under rubble in Gaza as a result of an Israeli airstrike.

We’re receiving reports that the Red Cross delegation that entered Ofer Prison is verifying the identity of Palestinian prisoners set to be released as part of the ceasefire agreement.
The prisoners will be transported by the prison service’s Nahshon unit to Ofer Prison, located in the West Bank, where they will be identified by Red Cross representatives. The prisoners will wait at Ofer Prison until the release of the three Israeli hostages is confirmed by the IDF.
