(16.8.2017) On the morning of 30 October 1961, a Soviet Tu-95 bomber took off from Olenya airfield in the Kola Peninsula in the far north of Russia.
The Tu-95 was a specially modified version of a type that had come into service a few years earlier; a huge, swept-wing, four-engined monster tasked with carrying Russia’s arsenal of nuclear bombs.

Secret recordings reappear on pro-government Hungarian site
(9.7.2018) On Monday morning, following reports in independent Hungarian media outlets that the recordings had disappeared, Magyar Idők issued an alert — including a red banner across the top of its homepage — and a statement announcing that it never took down any articles.
The paper’s editors wrote that their website experienced a technical problem on Friday night that resulted in the website being temporarily unavailable, and later some old articles also being unreachable.
“The editors of Magyar Idők Online reject all baseless speculation,” the statement said.

Der Sprecher beantwortete diese Frage mit einem simplen Link auf das Buch „Nichts ist, wie es scheint – Über Verschwörungstheorien“ des Tübinger Amerikanistik-Professors Michael Butter. Aus dessen Thesen habe die bpb „die Nutzbarmachung des Begriffes ‚Verschwörungstheorie‘ maßgeblich abgeleitet“. Konkreter wurde man leider nicht. Das ist vor allem deshalb brisant, weil Butter selbst sich in diesem Buch um eine klare Definition des Begriffes herummogelt.
