Schriftlich erklärte Sig Sauer, dass die Pistolen auch in den USA verbleiben würden. Diese wurden anschließend an das US-Tochterunternehmen des Konzerns, Sig Sauer Inc., geliefert. Von dort gingen die Schusswaffen direkt weiter an die kolumbianische Nationalpolizei.
