Berliner Libyen-Konferenz: Schlussfolgerungen der Konferenz

1. Zur heutigen Berliner Libyen-Konferenz sind auf Einladung von Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel die Regierungen von Algerien, Ägypten, China, Deutschland, Frankreich, Italien, der Republik Kongo, Russland, der Türkei, der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, des Vereinigten Königreichs und der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika sowie Hohe Vertreter der Vereinten Nationen, der Afrikanischen Union, der Europäischen Union und der Liga der Arabischen Staaten zusammengekommen.

2. Wir, die Teilnehmer, nehmen die Erklärung über die politische, sicherheitspolitische und humanitäre Lage in Libyen der Co-Vorsitzenden des Treffens auf Ebene der Außenminister zur Kenntnis, das Frankreich und Italien am Rande der 74. UN-Generalversammlung am 26. September 2019 in New York einberufen hatten.

Es solle bald ein erstes Treffen geben, das die Grundlage für einen gefestigten Waffenstillstand schaffen solle. Aktuell gibt es in dem Bürgerkriegsland nur eine Waffenruhe.
