The minutes of a meeting, held at the MOD Main Building during February 1969, show that the MRE Porton Down had now reached a point where further research could not be continued without a specific Service requirement, or without information from the Services on their operational needs.
The MRE Porton representative informed the meeting that “the US capability of mounting a successful attack in the Northern hemisphere had been clearly demonstrated, and there was increasing discussion in US and northern European military circles of the use of covert CW and BW to put troops under stress.”

(7.Juli) A big trend in web services right now is the so-called serverless computing, such as Amazon’s Lambda service. The idea is you don’t have a dedicated server waiting for requests for a specific purpose. Instead, you have one server (such as Amazon’s) listening for lots of requests and on demand, you spin up an environment to process that request. Conceptually, it lets you run a bit of Javascript or some other language “in the cloud” with no dedicated server. A new concept — https://itty.bitty.site — takes this one step farther. The site creates self-contained websites where the content is encoded in the URL itself.

Daraufhin rannten tausende Israelis stundenlang auf der Suche nach dunkelhäutigen Menschen in Tel Aviv umher, griffen diejenigen an, die sie in die Finger bekommen konnten und zerstörten ihr Eigentum. Zunächst bestritt Regev daher, die rassistische Aussage getätigt zu haben. Allerdings bezeugten Videoaufnahmen das Gegenteil, woraufhin sie sich dazu bekannte.
Dazu sei jedoch ebenfalls gesagt, dass sich die Knesset-Abgeordnete im Nachhinein für ihre Worte entschuldigte – bei Krebspatienten. Sie habe die Krankheit in ihrem Inneren nicht mit Sudanesen vergleichen wollen, sondern lediglich das Phänomen ihrer Ausbreitung. In einer ausführlichen Videobotschaft teilte sie überdies mit, dass es nie ihre Absicht gewesen sei, afrikanische Kriegsflüchtlinge – in ihrem Wortlaut „Eindringlinge“ – mit menschlichen Wesen zu vergleichen.

Kurzum, die Linke war unfähig, den Ärger der Bürger durch eine gemeinsame Zukunftsvision für Italien aufzufangen, denn es genügt einfach nicht, die Bitterkeit zum Schweigen zu bringen, man muss schon Hoffnungen wecken. Der Arme ist nämlich ein kleiner Handwerker der Wut; er wird blind in seinem Protest und ist bereit, ihn gegen seinen Nachbarn zu richten. Sinnlos und unpolitisch explodiert die Wut auch im Internet, ohne ein neues, von Solidarität geprägtes Weltbild hervorzubringen.
