Who will be speaking at Your Party conference?
The four Your Party MPs – Jeremy Corbyn, Zarah Sultana, Shockat Adam and Ayoub Khan are all expected to address the conference. Alongside this, representatives from left-wing parties across Europe are also expected to speak to attendees.
What will Your Party’s new name be?
One of the things being decided at the conference this weekend will be the new name for the party. Leading figures have consistently described ‘Your Party’ as merely a holding name, with the permanent name to be decided at the founding conference.
The new name of the party, as agreed by members, is expected to be announced on Sunday.
Thousands to gather in Liverpool for inaugural Your Party conference
THOUSANDS are set to gather in Liverpool on Saturday for the eagerly awaited inaugural Your Party conference.
Delegates selected through a sortition process, designed to ensure fair representation, will travel from around the country to debate the party’s founding documents at the ACC arena.
With a membership of 50,000, the party is the largest socialist party in Britain in 80 years.

While Musk may have the millions to pour into backing certain candidates — which he has already promised to do, pledging to support Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-Ky.) reelection campaign amid targeting from Trump — establishing a third party involves a series of thorny obstacles including navigating complex state laws, ballot access regulations and other legal hoops.
So far, the billionaire would-be party founder has yet to outline a concrete plan forward.
Elon Musk Says He Will Start a New Political Party
Mr. Musk, once a close ally of President Trump’s who in recent weeks has repeatedly bickered with him, had not filed paperwork as of Saturday evening for the new party, though he added in a separate post that the America Party would be active in elections “next year.” No immediate signs suggested that Mr. Musk was working to establish his party quickly. Any new entity would be required to be disclosed to the Federal Election Commission.

„Die Grünen“ und „Die Linke“ werden von oben, über deren Kader, durch die transatlantische Atlantikbrücke gelenkt. Alle derzeitigen Bundestagsparteien sind in Überparteien auf E.U.-Ebene organisiert. Eine tatsächliche Opposition findet parlamentarisch nicht statt. Und außerparlamentarisch ist die Opposition schwach, verwirrt und in großen Teilen ebenfalls nicht mehr verfassungstreu und schwafelt genauso von „Europa“ wie anno dünnemal der Pfaffe auf der Kanzel zum ausgeplünderten Pöbel über dessen Heil nach dem Tod.
Allen, die sich als klassische Sozialdemokratinnen und Sozialdemokraten in der Tradition von Rosa und Karl, oder mindestens Willy Brandt sehen, alle die sich als links, sozialistisch, emanzipatorisch, Bürgerrechtler oder liberalistisch sehen, rate ich dringend jetzt die Faxen und das ganze Geschwafel zu lassen und zur Tat zu schreiten.
Ohne Partei wird in der Republik nichts besser werden. Und so oder so muss es eine Partei für die Republik sein, und nicht gegen sie.
Progressives Need A New Party, Not A New DNC Chair

For those progressives ready to make the leap to another party, there are various options to consider. To begin with, there are the left third parties that existed prior to 2016, including but not limited to the Vermont Progressive Party, the Green Party, Socialist Alternative, and the Justice Party. Most of these groups have demonstrated that they are capable of winning elections, under the right conditions and with strong enough candidates. All seem to have gotten some boost from the energy generated by the Sanders campaign.
There also are a couple of bold new attempts by Berners to found their own parties, which may appeal more directly to Bernie’s huge base. One is the Progressive Independent Party; it aims to create a coalition of third parties and likeminded groups on the left. The other is the Draft Bernie for a People’s Party movement, which actually seeks to recruit Bernie Sanders to found a new progressive populist party.

While down five percentage points from last year’s record high, it is still on par with the average 56% support level over the course of the trend since 2003.

„Democratic voters are sending a clear message: They want leaders who will fight Trump and put working people first,“ said Danielle Deiseroth, executive director of Data for Progress, the progressive think tank behind the surveys. „The base is tired of weak opposition and business-as-usual politics.“
„This level of discontent is unsustainable for a party looking to build back in the wake of major losses—at a certain point, Democratic leaders will need to show voters that they are taking a stronger stance against Trump, or step aside for someone who will,“ Deiseroth added.
Petition to Support a Party of Working People
So here‘s a fresh question: What would you think if a million workers said they would be willing to back a new political effort?
One million names on a petition would show that the effort has a far wider reach than a fringe group or a self-promoter. One million names would signal to the political actors that there is mass support for building a new working-class political home. One million names might even push some Democrats to support pro-worker legislation.

Biden‘s Enduring Legacy: Awful. No Worse
If ever there was a searing, sanctimonious self-immolation in presidential politics, this was it and the costs are incalculable. The damage will reverberate for decades and might never be recovered.
It will be all but impossible for the Democratic Party to accept responsibility for the catastrophe it has inflicted on America, through its head, Joe Biden, and the complicity of all of the party’s upper echelon. It will, thus, ensure that nothing will change. We desperately need a new party that reflects the interest and needs of the American people, and not those of the party’s corporate owners. Irgendwann geht es um die Frage, mit wem ein Neubeginn gegen FPÖ und ÖVP möglich ist. Doch davor geht es ums Aufräumen und damit um Konsequenzen:
– um den Rücktritt von Beate Meinl-Reisinger, die mit ihrer Panikreaktion den Zusammenbruch der letzten Linie vor der FPÖ verursacht hat;
– um die Klärung, wer in der SPÖ von allen unterstützt die Führung in einer neuen Opposition übernimmt;
– um die Neuaufstellung der Grünen ohne das Mitläuferpersonal aus der Ära „Nehammer“;
und möglicherweise um eine neue Kraft, die als einzige die FPÖ alt aussehen lassen kann.
