‘The Behaviour of Rogue States’: Global Revulsion as US and Israel Launch War on Iran

“The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked, and unjustifiable,” said Jeremy Corbyn, an independent member of the British Parliament and former leader of the UK Labour Party. “Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war.”

“This is the behavior of rogue states—and they have jeopardized the safety of humankind around the world with this catastrophic act of aggression,” Corbyn added. “Our government must condemn this flagrant breach of international law, and urgently pursue a foreign policy based on justice, sovereignty, and peace.”

Progressive International co-founder Yanis Varoufakis, the former finance minister of Greece, echoed Corbyn’s criticism of the US and Israel as “rogue states.”

The only issue today should be to stop the war and to secure the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. The only way that could happen is a Washington-Moscow agreement that Russia withdraws in exchange for a commitment of Ukrainian neutrality. Anything else is war mongering.

Brazil’s Workers Party praises imperialist officials and Brazilian military involved in Venezuela regime change operation

The European tour of the Brazilian Workers Party’s (PT) 2018 presidential candidate, Fernando Haddad, meeting with and praising imperialist officials at the forefront of the regime-change operation in Venezuela, is yet another exposure of the party’s bogus claims to represent an “anti-fascist” opposition, both in Brazil and abroad.

Haddad was in Portugal and Spain in the third week of January in order to promote the formation of a so-called Progressive International, announced in late 2018 by US Senator Bernie Sanders and former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.

Die Jahrzehnte alten Parteien „S.P.D.“, „BĂŒndnis 90/Die GrĂŒnen“ und „die Linke“ sind keine Opposition gegen die VerhĂ€ltnisse. Diese haben sie selbst geschaffen und sind deren Teil. Die einzige Opposition, die diese Parteien reprĂ€sentieren, ist die Opposition gegen die Opposition an sich.

Das beinhaltet vermeintlich die Opposition gegen die einzig noch verbliebene parlamentarische Opposition in der Republik, nÀmlich die von rechts.

Doch in Wirklichkeit richtet sich diese „Opposition gegen Opposition“ gegen das Spektrum welches zu unterdrĂŒcken, zu fĂŒhren und einzubinden ihre Aufgabe ist: den progressiven, sozialdemokratischen, linken, emanzipatorischen, sozialistischen Sektor, wie auch immer sich die Betroffenen selbst definieren wollen.

No Pasaran! Dieses „Europa“ ist der letzte Dreck! Zur Hölle damit!

Als strategische Analyse kann man hinzufĂŒgen, dass „die Linke“, genau wie Varoufakis und „Diem25“ ganz genau wissen, dass ihre Zeit ablĂ€uft. Ihr Anspruch und die Wirklichkeit sind viel zu weit auseinander gedriftet, selbst fĂŒr die durchschnittlichen Blitzkriegmerker und Eurokapitalismusopfer Deutschlands. Der von uns seit anderthalb Jahren beschriebene politisch-moralische Zusammenbruch der populĂ€ren „Linken“ bzw dessen was sich heutzutage so nennt, wird in der Bundestagswahl im September 2017 sein SchlĂŒsselerlebnis finden.

SpĂ€testens danach wird das MĂ€rchen, mit dem die Seitenverkehrten von „Die Linke“, „EuropĂ€ischer Linke“ und deren Proxy „Diem25“ ihre GlĂ€ubigen still halten – eine Beteiligung an der (paneuropĂ€ischen) Machtstruktur ĂŒber die Bundesregierung und dadurch ĂŒber die E.U.-RĂ€te – nicht mehr ziehen. Die Fleischtöpfe werden leer werden. Festangestellten und FunktionĂ€ren werden die Gelder fĂŒr die Fusstruppen ausgehen, gerade auch in den Regionen der Republik.

In Deutschland ist es die Liste „Demokratie in Europa“, bei der der deutsche Ableger der DiEM25 mit der Kleinpartei „Demokratie in Bewegung“ kooperiert.

DafĂŒr hat er BĂŒcher geschrieben und fĂŒhrende Politiker beschuldigt, seinem „bankrotten Griechenland“ immer neue Kredite zu geben, obwohl das Land so nie auf die Beine kommen könne.

Varoufakis hat nichts von seinem Elan verloren, nur vielleicht ein bisschen die Illusion, als gewÀhlter Politiker etwas zu bewegen.
