According to court testimony, the surveillance extended beyond simple observation. The suspects allegedly installed electronic devices in the vicinity of the property as early as a year before forcibly retrieving the children. The objective of these actions was to gather information pertinent to an ongoing custody dispute between the parents.

The monitoring reportedly included both visual surveillance and attempts to intercept digital communications. The court heard that the suspects sought unauthorized access to the Hensel family‘s home network, aiming to monitor and potentially listen in on electronic traffic within the household. Despite efforts to extract information, including partial decryption of passwords, the surveillance team was unable to fully access the family‘s data.

Ex-Shin Bet chief involved in plot to kidnap German heiress’s children: Israeli media

The report said that the kidnappers “hit the father and dragged his 10-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter into a forest and through a stream before putting them into a car.”

“The children’s mouths were taped shut and one of them was tied up. It was also claimed that the kidnappers threatened to kill the children if they made noise,“ it added.

According to Haaretz, one of the hijackers, an Israeli, was arrested in the Greek Cypriot Administration, and extradited to Germany, where he is currently on trial.

Two other Israelis suspected of involvement have fled Germany, the daily reported.

Perry, 81, told the German court he “would agree to testify about Hanning’s role in the case if he was granted confidentiality.”

Das israelische Sicherheitsunternehmen steht wiederum im Verdacht, die Kinder in der Silvesternacht 2023/2024 aus Dänemark entführt zu haben. Wegen dieser Vorwürfe findet derzeit das Strafverfahren vor dem Landgericht Hamburg statt.

Was der Fall Block mit dem Spionage-Verdacht gegen Hanning zu tun hat

Hanning steht unter Verdacht, in den Komplex rund um die Entführung der beiden jüngsten Block-Kinder beim Vater in Dänemark verstrickt gewesen zu sein. Im Zuge dessen hatten Ermittlerinnen und Ermittler vor einem Jahr sein Haus und Geschäftsräume durchsuchen lassen, um Beweismaterial zu finden.

Außerdem wird Hanning vorgeworfen, dass er zusammen mit einem ehemaligen Beamten des Landeskriminalamtes dem Ex-Mann von Christina Block, Stefan Hensel, gefaktes kinderpornografisches Material untergeschoben hat, um ihn zu diskreditieren. Hanning selbst bestreitet das alles. Beim Versuch, das aufzuklären, gab es dann offenbar den Zufallsfund in seinem Haus, der die Geschichte noch sehr viel brisanter macht.

Es war ein Prevent-Mann als Ermittler beteiligt, als auf dem Rechner eines Managers der norddeutschen Landesbank HSH Spuren zu Kinderporno-Material gefunden wurden. Genauer gesagt: angeblich wurden solche Spuren gefunden. Die Bank musste sich später für den Vorwurf entschuldigen. Hatte man dem Manager das belastende Material also untergeschoben? Prevent bestritt jede Schuld.
