Who are we?
Brothers and Sisters in Arms is comprised of loyal and concerned reserve soldiers and officers from all units, divisions and corps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), including the Army, the Air Force, and the Navy. Over the years, we have all shouldered the heavy burden of safeguarding the State of Israel with a sense of mission and honor. We have carried out the tasks assigned to us under right-wing, centrist and left-wing governments without any difference or reservation. We have always stepped up to serve, support, build, protect, fight for, and even risk our lives for the sake of a Jewish and democratic State of Israel. An Israel that advocates the principles of equality, freedom and unity in accordance with the spirit of our Declaration of Independence, ensured by maintaining separation of powers and an independent judiciary.
Protesters Swarm Petah Tikva Police Station After Activist Detained
Hundreds of protesters against the far-right government’s planned judicial overhaul gathered outside a Petah Tikva police station Monday evening, after an activist was detained at home and questioned over alleged plans to carry out violent activities. Following a call from the reservists’ organization Brothers and Sisters in Arms for activists to protest at the police station, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the police station.
Though the activist, Itzik Medina, was released after a short time, flag-waving and vuvuzela-blaring protesters continued to demonstrate through the city, warning that the arrest was another step toward an Israeli dictatorship and blocked several streets. “What happened tonight could happen to all of us,” Medina said to the crowd assembled outside the station, shortly after his release. “They came to my home and they simply picked me up.”

Thanks to a law that Israel inherited from the British Mandate dictatorship, the interior minister holds the power to disband a municipality. The minister is barred from using it in the year preceding local elections. But once those elections are over later this year, this government can depose as many mayors and local and regional council heads as it wants. It can eliminate city council members and replace them with government loyalists.
The interior minister can easily find a pretext for “faulty performance” in any locale. And what will the deposed mayors do then? The Supreme Court will be unable to deem the decision to fire them “unreasonable,” because this standard will no longer be available.

Lukashenko orders that government develop „algorithm for use“ of Russian nuclear weapons
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus assigned the task of developing an algorithm for the use of nuclear weapons to Viktor Khrenin, Belarusian Minister of Defence; Viktor Gulevich, Chief of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces; and Ivan Tertel, Chairman of the Belarusian State Security Committee.

Lukashenko: Wagner will not guard Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has reportedly stressed that the Wagner mercenary group will have no role in guarding Russian tactical nuclear weapons that are being transferred to his country.
A state-run news agency in Belarus cited Lukashenko as saying on Tuesday that a substantial amount of Russian nuclear weaponry has been moved into the country.

The report said Lukashenko denied such views, saying, „It is our job. And I am personally responsible for the security of the weapons.“

One gets the impression that Karaganov believes that the West can be stopped by a local and demonstrative “use of nuclear weapons”. But there is no comprehension of the consequences. And it’s not just the military but also the geopolitical component that is at stake. All those who are neutral or sympathetic to Russia today will turn their backs. The West is very much in favor of such Russian behavior. So why does the author suggest doing what is in the West’s interest? (…)
The US and NATO are pumping equipment and ammunition into Europe. They are increasing their involvement in Ukraine. They desperately need a move by Russia to isolate it on the world stage.

Lukashenko says he and Putin, in a phone call on Saturday, discussed killing the mercenary leader.
Speaking in depth for the first time about what he said was his role in the negotiations between the Russian president and Mr. Prigozhin, Mr. Lukashenko said that he had convinced Mr. Putin “not to do anything rash,” assuring him that “a bad peace is better than any war.” Mr. Lukashenko’s version of the conversation, reported by Belarusian state news media, could not be verified independently, and the Kremlin did not immediately comment on it.
