The Global Global Sumud Flotilla Demands Immediate Release of Political Prisoner Saif Abukeshek As Swedish Embassy Visit Reveals Threats, Abuse, and Deteriorating Health in israeli Detention

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (TRIGGER WARNING) Reports of Severe Physical and Sexual Violence by IOF Soldiers Against Participants Emerge Following Illegal israeli Interception of the Flotilla Last Week
MEDITERRANEAN SEA — The Global Sumud Flotilla is releasing preliminary first-hand testimonies detailing a pattern of severe physical and sexual violence and systematic degradation perpetrated against civilian participants following the interception of the flotilla in international waters. These accounts, gathered following the release of 179 participants to Greek authorities, indicate a reliance on physical violence and abuse, including sexual abuse, as tools of intimidation and control.

But before the birth, an Israeli soldier shot Nayef in the head, leaving him to bleed out in the street.

Israeli attacks kill dozens within days in Lebanon despite ceasefire

Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon killed 17 people on Monday, Lebanon‘s health ministry says – marking one of the deadliest few days there since a ceasefire began just over two weeks ago.
It brings the number of those killed since Thursday to 110 , according to the ministry.
Herzog met secretly with pro-Netanyahu journalist Bardugo to discuss pardon — report
President Isaac Herzog secretly met with journalist Jacob Bardugo, a confidante of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in late March to discuss the premier’s request for a pardon, Channel 12 news reports.
The nighttime meeting at an apartment in Shoham, which was not revealed to the public, took place shortly before Herzog urged dialogue between the sides on a plea bargain. It also came about after bitter criticism of Herzog by Bardugo on the pro-Netanyahu Channel 14 for not pardoning the prime minister, who has refused to admit wrongdoing despite High Court precedent indicating he must do so for a pardon.

The War Powers Resolution of 1973 was designed to restore the constitutional balance in decisions to commit the United States to armed conflict. Its central provision — a legislative veto enabling Congress to direct the withdrawal of American forces by concurrent resolution — was cast into legal doubt by the Supreme Court’s 1983 decision in INS v. Chadha. But Chadha was wrongly decided, its reasoning is exceptionally weak, and the Court’s subsequent embrace of functionalism in separation-of-powers cases has left it incoherent as precedent. As the United States drifts deeply into a congressionally unauthorized war with Iran, the case for overruling Chadha, or at minimum limiting it to its facts, has never been stronger.

In a separate but simultaneous incident, another Iranian ship came under attack while entering the Strait of Hormuz, directly opposite the UAE‘s Fujairah port.
Concurrent with these fresh acts of aggression, the spokesperson said that US forces, operating in coordination with certain countries in the region, launched airstrikes against civilian areas in the coastal provinces.
These aerial attacks reportedly targeted locations along the coasts of Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island.
According to the statement, Iran‘s response was immediate and decisive.
The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a swift counterattack, engaging US military vessels east of the Strait of Hormuz and south of the port of Bandar Chabahar.
The Iranian operation inflicted „significant damage“ on the American warships, he said.
Blasts rock Tehran after a period of relative calm

Iranian media says air defences down drones as military reports strikes

Explosions have been reported in the southern Iranian port of Bandar Abbas and on Qeshm Island, according to Iranian state media.
The Mizan News Agency said air defences intercepted several small drones over Qeshm, citing local sources.
Separately, Tasnim News Agency reported that air defence systems shot down two drones over Bandar Abbas.
