White House Clarifies No Imminent Invitation for Netanyahu to Visit Washington

The White House on Tuesday clarified that there is no imminent invitation for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Washington.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides told Israel’s Army Radio that “I’m sure that [Netanyahu] will be coming relatively soon,” adding “I assume after Passover, obviously no date has been set yet. There’s no question he will come and meet [U.S. President Joe] Biden. They will see each other personally, I’m sure, quite soon. Without question, he’ll be coming to the White House as soon as their schedules can be coordinated.”

Erst letzte Woche wurde bekannt, dass die griechische Regierung eine Managerin von Meta mit US-Staatsbürgerschaft abgehört haben soll. Schon vor zwei Jahren wurde bekannt, dass US-Diplomaten auf der Zielliste von Pegasus standen.

Was die Anordnung Bidens nicht verbietet: All die Hacking-Tools, die US-Behörden selbst entwickeln. Und Staatstrojaner von Herstellern, die noch nicht in autoritären Regimen gefunden wurden und die die USA als vertrauenswürdig einstufen.

The opposition, made up of National Unity, Yesh Atid, Yisrael Beytenu, Meretz, Ra’am and Labor, is projected to win 61 seats. Hadash-Ta’al would garner the remaining five seats.
