No indictment for Netanyahu

Netanyahu told CNN‘s Walter Rodgers he was „glad that the truth came out,“ and said the entire incident was „blown out of proportion and twisted out of shape.“
„It‘s politics,“ he said in an interview shortly after the attorney general released his report. „Of course there were people out to get us. But this is going nowhere. It‘s done. It‘s finished.“

During the inaugural conference being held in Liverpool this weekend, all members were asked to vote on what to call the new party, which was temporarily named âYour Party‘ earlier this year.
Members voting online have now chosen to keep the âYour Partyâ name permanently, with 37.06 per cent voting in favour on a 30 per cent turnout. Almost 17,000 members voted on the name.

Gallego warns of âconsequencesâ to military for âgoing after sitting members of Congressâ

Gallego then looked directly into the camera and gave a message to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. On Monday, Hegseth said the Pentagon would conduct a âthorough reviewâ of allegations against Kelly, who first heard of the investigation in Hegsethâs post on the social platform X.
âYou will never, ever, ever even be half the man that Sen. Kelly is,â Gallego told Hegseth. âYou, sir, are a coward. And the fact that you are following this order from the president shows how big of a coward you are. And I canât wait till you no longer are the secretary of Defense.â
House committee seeks âfull accountingâ of boat strike after WaPo âkill everybodyâ report
The leaders of the House Armed Services Committee said late Saturday they are seeking âfull accountingâ of an early September U.S. military attack against an alleged drug-trafficking boat in the Caribbean after a report alleged that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered U.S. troops to âkill everybodyâ aboard the vessel.
âThis committee is committed to providing rigorous oversight of the Department of Defenseâs (DOD) military operations in the Caribbean,â Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), the chair of the House committee, and Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.), the top Democrat on the panel, said in a joint statement.
