Florida set to become first state to fine businesses over vaccine mandates, in defiance of Biden administration

(18.11.2021)

Acting mostly along party lines, the Florida House and Senate passed a package of four bills protecting workers who remain defiant against Covid-19 vaccinations. Once signed by DeSantis — which is expected in the coming days — Florida will become the first state with a law imposing fines on companies that require a Covid-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.

What the hell just happened in New Jersey? How the 2021 election redefined crazy.

The governor’s race showed Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy and Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli separated by a razor-thin margin in spite of all those polls that projected a Murphy victory. (The Associated Press declared Murphy the winner Wednesday by a less-than-1-percentage-point margin, nearly 24 hours after the polls closed.)

Republicans were also poised to flip a few seats in the Democratic-controlled state Legislature, and in a shocker, they’re on the verge of booting out state Senate President Stephen Sweeney with a candidate with no political experience. But numerous races remain too close to call.

The CIA Democrats in the 2020 elections

This list, however tedious—and hideous—is instructive. It gives a picture of the social elements that comprise a significant fraction of the Democratic Party. These candidates, drawn from the military-intelligence apparatus, demonstrate the real nature of this organization, a political instrument of Wall Street and the imperialist state.

Hundreds of Activists and Elected Officials Call on Mayors and Cops to Decrease Police Power

Non-reformist reforms seek abolition as an end goal, and include defunding and demilitarizing the police — a demand that has long been considered politically impossible but has entered mainstream discourse over the last week and is reflected in the letters sent Friday.

The letter to police chiefs asks them to help curb the power of police unions. “Making sure that unions aren’t as powerful so that you can keep bad apples on the force, and prevent robust oversight and disciplinary action,” Medwed said.

Okay, here we go: Of the 59 Assembly Democrats running again in NYC, 25 (42%) have taken law enforcement (police, correction, or court officer) money this cycle.

NOTE: DenDekker, Simotas, and Lentol are all in the top 10. All face challengers in increasingly-leftist districts.

A 19-year-old called out New York Democrats accepting police campaign donations. To his surprise, many have listened

„I‘ve been looking at state finance disclosures for candidates in New York and I was noticing a lot of police money, law enforcement money taken by Democrats claiming to be against it,“ he said. „I was making this spreadsheet. Then (the death of) George Floyd happened — so many people responded and it got, like, a hundred likes in a couple hours? So people wanted to see this.“
Since sharing his „Who‘s Taking Cop Money?“ Google spreadsheet on Twitter on May 29, eight Democrats — including a state senator, state assembly members and New York councilmembers — have vowed to donate their police-funded contributions to bail funds or criminal justice reform organizations.

This Law Makes It Nearly Impossible to Police the Police in New York

(19. April 2018)

For instance, the public has a clear interest in knowing that at least 319 NYPD employees were allowed to keep their jobs, even after committing offenses that NYPD leaders have always assured us were fireable. Those pushing for more police in schools in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, might want to know that three school safety officers found guilty of using excessive force against students were punished with just five lost vacation days. And anyone concerned about false information leading to wrongful convictions might like to know that more than 100 employees accused of “lying on official reports, under oath, or during an internal affairs investigation” were punished with as little as a few days of lost vacation.

Much of this information would have been made publicly available up until recently. But in 2016 the NYPD suddenly decided, after decades of posting so-called police “personnel orders,” that doing so violated section 50-a of the New York State Civil Rights Law, which limits the release of certain police personnel records.

State Senator Lucido calls for investigation in Governor Whitmer‘s nursing home orders

(19.05.2020)

The Macomb County republican says Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s executive order required all long-term care facilities at less than 80% capacity to create COVID19 units and accept patients. Now he’s asking Michigan’s Attorney General and the U.S. Attorney for Michigan’s Eastern District to investigate whether that endangered nursing home residents.

“Why did we have this order, when medical personnel themselves are saying that the most unsafe position you could put the ones who are vulnerable in is bringing COVID into the facility,” said Lucido.

Peter Lucido wants investigation into Whitmer‘s orders to place COVID-19 patients in nursing homes

(20.05.2020)

The Macomb County lawmaker on Monday called for the probe into the governor‘s Executive Orders 2020-50 and 2020-84, which mandate all long-term facilities in the state at less than 80% capacity to create COVID-19 units and accept and retain patients diagnosed with the new coronavirus.

„Why would we bring infected people into a facility that is set up to care for the elderly,“ Lucido said Tuesday. „Nursing homes were never set up to care for COVID-19 patients. Nursing homes don‘t have the proper medical equipment, ventilators, or medical personnel to care for them.“

Governor Baker extended his state’s stay-at-home order until May 18 and signed an order requiring Massachusetts residents to wear masks in public.
