A manifesto from Iran: No to war

(March 2, 2026)

Netanyahu and the hawks in Washington are explicitly aiming, through warmongering rhetoric, sanctions, and threats, to destabilize and weaken our country. The tragedies of January 2026 — like any other suffering — can in no way justify war, nor the imposition of further pain on our compatriots, nor the destruction of Iran in any form.

We, Iranians of different political affiliations, unhesitatingly oppose any aggression against our country. We are convinced that the solution — however difficult to achieve — lies within Iran itself: in constructive change, in the renewal of society, in transformation from the bottom up. This is the way forward. Not war.

That is why we call for a strong and unanimous voice to be raised against any warmongering logic. In the face of any aggression, we will stand by our country. And we invite all our fellow citizens — especially those with a voice, visibility, and credibility — to join this opposition with even greater determination.

150,000 signatures collected calling for the suspension of European relations with Israel

Just two days after the start of the European Citizens’ Initiative to call for the suspension of European Union relations with Israel, 150,000 signatures have already been collected out of the million needed to present the initiative to the European Parliament under the established popular consultation mechanism. The signature collection campaign will last one year, and any European citizen can sign online at this address.

Generalstreik für Gaza in ganz Italien: Millionen auf der Straße – Die Bilder

An diesem Internationalen Tag der Gewaltfreiheit wurde Italien zur Bühne des Friedens: Ein Generalstreik und gewaltfreie Proteste für Gaza vereinten Millionen.

In Genoa, 50,000 people greet the Global Sumud Flotilla boats departing for Gaza.

Yesterday was an exciting day in Genoa, with a huge celebration that began in the afternoon at the Music for Peace headquarters, one of the collection points for the 300 tons of aid brought by the Genoese and arriving from other Italian cities and even abroad, amid a constant flow of people. Forty tons were expected, and part of it will be reserved for Sudan, where a terrible and little-discussed humanitarian crisis is underway. Volunteers worked tirelessly to pack the enormous quantity of basic necessities, a tangible sign of a wave of generous popular solidarity, contrasting with the cowardice and inertia of European governments, incapable of reaching an agreement to stop Israel.

50.000 Menschen in Genua verabschieden die Global-Sumud-Flotilla nach Gaza

Am Samstag war ein aufregender Tag in Genua mit einem großen Fest, das am Nachmittag im Hauptquartier von Music for Peace begann. Das Hauptquartier ist einer der Sammelpunkte für die 300 Tonnen Hilfsgüter, die von den Einwohner:innen Genuas und aus anderen italienischen Städten und sogar aus dem Ausland gebracht wurden. Es herrschte ein ständiges Kommen und Gehen von Menschen.

To Save Gaza, Invoke the Genocide Convention

For all that to happen, a country needs to step forward and invoke the Genocide Convention.

Make no mistake; any nation that does this may well be targeted in insidious ways by the US and by Israel. Any such nation should be afforded every bit of support people of goodwill can muster.
