Eskalation im Bürgerkrieg

Die NachDenkSeiten hatten am letzten Montag über das blutige Vorgehen der Junta gegen die Demonstranten berichtet. (Blutsonntag in Myanmar) Mindestens 18 Menschen waren an diesem Tag erschossen worden. Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life – and leads by example – with empathy and compassion,

She teaches me every day what it means to be truly noble. Her words illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced.

I know firsthand the sexism and racism institutions and the media use to vilify women and people of color to minimise us, to break us down and demonise us. We must recognize our obligation to decry malicious, unfounded gossip and tabloid journalism.

Just that morning, she said she told her husband about her suicidal thoughts. “I was ashamed to say it,” she told Winfrey, “ashamed to admit it, but I knew If I didn’t say it, I would do it.”

Harry, she said, cradled her and, over time, began to formulate a plan to ease the pressure and ensure that the tragedy that had engulfed his mother, Princess Diana, would not repeat itself.

“I say this with great sadness, there were grounds for the decision. I don’t want Israel to face these situations… but Israel needs to ask itself what it needs to do to prevent that,” he added.

For Israel, there’s little political cost to killing Palestinians

(02.04.2018)

Israeli authorities claimed they opened fire in response to some protesters who had encroached near the fence, burning tires and hurling stones or molotov cocktails. Footage that emerged from the chaotic scene suggested Israeli soldiers targeted unarmed protesters, including some who were running away and were shot from a distance by snipers.

The Israel Massacre Forces

(01.04.2018)

The killing of Palestinians is accepted in Israel more lightly than the killing of mosquitoes. There’s nothing cheaper in Israel than Palestinian blood. If there were a hundred or even a thousand deaths Israel would still “salute” the IDF. This is the army whose commander, the good and moderate Gadi Eisenkot, is received with such pride by Israelis. Of course, in the holiday media interviews, no one asked him about the anticipated massacre and no one will ask him now either.

Foreign Troops To Stay In Afghanistan Beyond May Deadline

(02.03.2021)

Like NATO, Afghan officials stated that it is critical for U.S. troops to remain so that Taliban and Afghan leaders can reach peace agreements. According to the Washington Post, Afghan officials announced that the maintenance of a small U.S. counter-terrorism force in Afghanistan would provide the country’s government with more leverage during peace talks than the country would have without military aid. These negotiations could bring a decades-long, violent war to a peaceful end.

Mr. Blinken wrote that the United States had not decided whether to withdraw the remaining 2,500 American troops from Afghanistan by May 1, as outlined in its agreement with the Taliban.
