NNA – Israeli enemy surveillance and drone aircraft were reported flying over Tyre and its surroundings, particularly above the Al-Bass area, the Popular Housing district and the coastal zone, at medium altitude.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone reportedly dropped a sound bomb on the town of Kfartebnit.
Israeli Channel 13 reported that the country‘s political leadership has issued new limits on military operations in southern Lebanon, allowing action within the „yellow line“ against direct threats while prohibiting operations in areas such as Beirut and Tyre.
The channel said the move reflects growing pressure from the Trump administration.

Israeli air strikes on the historic city of Tyre, known as Sour in Arabic, in southern Lebanon and surrounding areas killed 11 people on Tuesday amid an Israeli military warning for the entire city to evacuate.
Lebanon‘s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported raids on more than a dozen other locations across the country‘s south, as Israel pressed on with its war against the militant group Hezbollah.
Lebanon’s health ministry said an Israeli air strike on the southern city of Tyre on Tuesday killed at least eight people and wounded 32 others, noting the toll was provisional.
The strike was before Israel’s military issued an expulsion order for the entire city and surrounding areas, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
Hours after the president’s latest optimistic assessment, Israel renewed its military assault in Lebanon, striking the southern city of Tyre and issuing an evacuation warning that for the first time included the port’s Christian quarter.

The death toll from an Israeli car attack in Tyre, southern Lebanon, has risen to five, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
The victims included Ali Muhammad Dahini and his son Rabih from the town of Toura.
Lebanese Civil Defence teams and the Al-Risala Health Ambulance Association transferred the dead and wounded to hospitals in the area.
The latest killing brings today’s death toll from Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon to at least 10.

MSF condemns the airstrike carried out by the Israeli army on the evening of 1 June in the vicinity of Jabal Amel Hospital, which we support, in Sour (Tyre). According to the Ministry of Public Health, the attack has so far resulted in four deaths and 127 injuries, including 39 hospital staff. Among the injured staff, four are in critical condition and remain under treatment in intensive care. Bodies are still being recovered from the rubble, and the total number of dead and injured could still rise.
The strike caused severe damage to Jabal Amel Hospital itself, including its inpatient department, radiology department and intensive care unit. One wall of an operating room has been severely damaged, leaving a large hole, and the medical team had to urgently transfer half of the remaining patients in the intensive care unit to another ward to ensure their safety.
