Mitt Romney predicts Donald Trump will win in 2020 ‚solidly.‘ Is he right?
Much of Romney‘s calculus is based on his belief that Democrats will ultimately choose „someone who is really out of the mainstream of American thought.“ And they might! But the 2020 Democratic field is totally in flux at the moment and it‘s literally impossible to anticipate who might eventually be the nominee and why.
There is NO PATH to political revolution inside the Democratic Party.

Winners and Losers: Trump is the big winner in Tuesday’s primaries

We save a fortune by not doing war games, as long as we are negotiating in good faith – which both sides are!
So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN. They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea. 500 days ago they would have “begged” for this deal-looked like war would break out. Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!

Rep. Ro Khanna: If U.S.-North Korea Summit Happened Under Obama, Democrats Would Be Cheering
„My disagreement with Senator Schumer in that letter is that’s basically parroting the talking points of John Bolton, saying that we should not engage in any diplomacy or make any concessions without complete denuclearization. That’s just not realistic. A far more realistic framework is what Bill Perry has advocated in the 1990s and worked on, which is an incremental approach, where we need to look at our joint military exercises, as the president has, where we need to ask for the cessation of testing, and make concessions on an incremental basis. And that’s what I think has begun with this process.“
Michael Goodwin: Trump-Kim summit brings out the cynics (when we should be looking forward with hope)
This is a glorious day for cynics, especially lazy ones. It doesn’t take much effort to find loopholes, inconsistencies and other deficiencies in the agreement signed by President Trump and Kim Jong Un.
Democrats blast Trump for concessions he granted in U.S.-North Korea summit
As Republican leaders reacted with cautious optimism, Democrats said Trump gave up leverage by meeting with Kim and by agreeing so quickly to halting joint U.S. military „war game“ exercises with South Korea.
Most Americans Desperate for Third Major Political Party in Trump Era
(27.9.2017) More Americans than ever—61 percent—say the Democratic and Republican parties are inadequate and the U.S. should have a third major political party, a new poll from Gallup shows. The desire among Americans for a competitive third party has been above 57 percent over the last five years, but Gallup’s latest poll marks a record high level of support.
DNC Gives Itself the Power to Veto Presidential Candidates
Washington, D.C. — The DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee met in Providence, R.I. on Friday, June 8 and declared a new rule that allows the party to block presidential candidates from running on the Democratic ballot.
The rule states that in order to be accepted as a candidate by the DNC, the applicants’ “public writings and/or statements” must “affirmatively demonstrate that they are faithful to the interests, welfare and success of the Democratic Party of the United States.”
The new rule means that a committee of corporate lobbyists, consultants, and people who participated in rigging the 2016 primary election will decide if a progressive is eligible to run for president in the Democratic Party in 2020. When Bernie Sanders or another progressive files to run as a Democrat, the DNC can reject them before a single vote is cast.
DNC Rule Change May Block Bernie Sanders from Running as Democrat in 2020
While Sanders has not said anything concrete about running for president again in two years, his 2016 campaign manager Jeff Weavers hinted at the possibility during an interview with C-SPAN host John McArdle in May.
“He is considering another run for the presidency and when the time comes I think we‘ll have an answer for that. But right now he‘s still considering it,” Weavers said.

Heinous Enemy Blocking Improvement of Inter-Korean Relations and Peace
Some days ago, „Liberal Korea Party“ of south Korea (LKP) checked the adoption of a bill on supporting the Panmunjom declaration at the „National Assembly“ (NA).
Owing to the reckless moves, the bill was not even tabled at the full-dress session of the NA.
The reckless moves betray true colors of the group of LKP which goes against national reconciliation and unity, peace and reunification and seeks confrontation.

Commentary: Whatever happens next, the Trump-Kim summit is a win
In the end, diplomacy can work – as a process, not an event. There is no Big Bang theory of nuclear diplomacy. If no further progress is made toward peace on the Korean peninsula, all this – the back-and-forth, the Moon-Kim meetings, the Singapore summit itself – is at worst another good start that faded. It is more likely, however, a turning point.
