(April 7, 2025)

So let’s help Move America Forward get a big success with their petition to outs the UN from the US; and let’s start prepare for hosting the future UN headquarter in Geneva. If I were to be the Swiss authorities, I would immediately start thinking of recruiting architects and funds. Even if it takes a decade to be decided upon, a decade is a short time in this matter.

UN Watch Hails Resignation of Entire UN’s Anti-Israel Inquiry: “This is All Due to U.S. Sanctions on Albanese, Dominoes Are Falling”

(July 14, 2025)

“This week, the dominoes are falling,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch. “First, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio made the historic decision to sanction Francesca Albanese, the UN’s pro-Hamas rapporteur, in wake of a massive campaign led by UN Watch. Now the architects of the UN’s anti-Israel inquisition are fleeing the ship. The tide is turning.”

My good friends,

This is the second time in our history that there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honor. I believe it is peace for our time.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And now I recommend you to go home and sleep quietly in your beds.

Occupied Palestinian Territories: joint statement, 21 July 2025

Joint statement by:

foreign ministers of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management

We, the signatories listed below, come together with a simple, urgent message: the war in Gaza must end now.

The suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths. The Israeli government’s aid delivery model is dangerous, fuels instability and deprives Gazans of human dignity. We condemn the drip feeding of aid and the inhumane killing of civilians, including children, seeking to meet their most basic needs of water and food. It is horrifying that over 800 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid. The Israeli Government’s denial of essential humanitarian assistance to the civilian population is unacceptable. Israel must comply with its obligations under international humanitarian law.

Gaza is a mirror reflecting the world‘s absolute shame: Opinion

Never in recent history has a civilian population been locked into a fenced strip of land – denied food, water, and fuel – while being bombed from air, land, and sea.

This is not siege. It is the world’s first televised extermination.

A concentration camp under constant aerial assault.

(…)

What is happening in Gaza does more than violate law – it obliterates it.

It tears through every principle of humanity, every treaty that claims to uphold it.

The world did not merely fail Gaza. It abandoned her. And in doing so, it exposed itself.

Gaza is not just a killing field.

She is a mirror – and in her reflection, we see our absolute, unvarnished shame.

Terror and chaos for Gaza’s people now entering the ‘death phase’

In an alert, the UN agency for Palestine refugees, UNRWA, relayed desperate testimonies from its colleagues who are also struggling to survive in the war-torn enclave.

“We’re in the death phase,” one UNRWA worker said. “Everything around people at the moment is death, whether it’s bombs or strikes, children wasting away in front of their eyes from malnourishment, from dehydration, and dying.”

Doctors and nurses who continue to work in the UN agency’s clinics and medical centres “are watching children disappear and die in front of their eyes, and there‘s absolutely nothing that they can do about it,” the worker continued.
Civilians ‘faced sniper and tank-fire’

The development comes after desperate Gazans seeking aid came under fire at the weekend “from Israeli tanks, snipers and other gunfire”, according to the UN World Food Programme (WFP).

In a detailed statement after the incident on Sunday 20 July, it explained that a 25-truck lorry convoy crossed the Zikim border point in northern Gaza “destined for starving communities”.

Shortly after passing the final checkpoint after the Zikim crossing point, the convoy encountered large crowds of civilians waiting to access food supplies. This was when the shooting began, leaving “countless” Gazans dead, WFP said, echoing reports by the health authorities.

Condemning the incident, WFP noted that the victims “were simply trying to access food to feed themselves and their families on the brink of starvation”. ….

Pope appeals for end to Gaza ‘barbarity’

After the Holy Family church was struck on Thursday morning, three of the approximately 600 Gazans sheltering there were killed, and several others, including the parish priest Fr Gabriel Romanelli, were injured.

Speaking on Sunday after reciting the Angelus prayer at his summer residence in Castel Gandolfo, the Pope named the three victims – Saad Issa Kostandi Salameh, Foumia Issa Latif Ayyad, and Najwa Ibrahim Latif Abu Daoud – and said he was “close” to them and their families.

Pope Leo then stressed that the attack “is just one of the continuous military attacks against the civilian population and places of worship in Gaza”.

The Pope appealed for “an immediate halt to the barbarity of the war” and for “a peaceful resolution of the conflict”. He urged the international community to observe humanitarian law and respect the obligation to protect civilians, “as well as the prohibition against collective punishment, indiscriminate use of force and forced displacement of the population”.

Hadash: Famine Rise in Gaza Strip; Protests Against War Next Thursday and Friday

According to Hadash, “Israeli occupation in Gaza continues to kill and gravely injure hundreds of Palestinians each week, as they desperately seek the little shelter and food available, famine is increasing, and Israel is inflicting on Palestinians conditions of life increasingly incompatible with their continued existence in Gaza.”

“The unlawful limitations on the entry of food to Gaza and other items essential for the survival of the civilian population, the poor modes of operation at militarized and privatized distribution sites where people, mainly young men and boys, continue to be shot and killed are planned by the far-right government within a context of largely destroyed law enforcement and judicial systems, a fascist offensive in Israel, and the reinforcement of occupation in the West Bank”. Regarding “reported plans by Israeli authorities to concentrate much of the population in a so-called ‘humanitarian city’ – a concentration camp in destroyed Rafah,” Hadash called on to “refrain from taking any steps aimed the forcible transfer of the Palestinian population within Gaza or its deportation outside of the Strip.” A demonstration against war will be held at Habima Square in Tel-Aviv, next Thursday, July 24, by hostages’ relatives and mothers of soldiers. On Friday, July 25, another protest against war, starvation and genocide in Gaza will be held in Sakhnin sponsored by Partnership for Peace and Hadash.

Killings near a West Bank village show even Americans aren’t immune

Musallet’s father called from Florida, asking: “Is Saif good? Is Saif good?”

“I was trying to say, ‘Yes, yes … everything will be fine,’” Zaben said.

After more than an hour, Hafeth Abdel Jabbar and other men arrived with an ambulance, which he said the Israeli soldiers had finally let pass. Musallet died before they reached the hospital.

The U.N. World Food Program said its 25-truck convoy was mobbed shortly after it passed through the Zikim border crossing from Israel into Gaza. “Our convoy encountered massive crowds of hungry civilians which came under gunfire,” the agency said in a statement.
