Another Israel Defense Forces soldier has spoken out publicly against the IDF‘s brutalization of civilians in Gaza.
In an interview with the British Sky News Monday, a reservist who has served three tours of duty in Gaza spoke candidly about orders he and other soldiers received to shoot any person arbitrarily who entered defined „no-go zones,“ regardless of whether they posed a threat.

In Gaza, 743 Palestinians have died so far while attempting to collect food from aid centers managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a US-based organization supported by Israel. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 4,891 others have been injured. This information was released on Saturday.
GHF began distributing aid in the last week of May.
The GHF later denounced Reuters for publishing the article, insisting in a post on X that it had nothing to do with the document.
“When we asked to review the document, they refused to share it. We told them clearly: GHF has no involvement in HTAs, no plans for HTAs, and this presentation is NOT ours. They ran the story anyway. This isn’t journalism. It’s agenda-driven clickbait, propped up by bad-faith sources and designed to stir controversy, not uncover truth,” the foundation wrote.

Connecting all these dots leads to a fairly clear conclusion: Israel is preparing to forcibly displace the entire population of Gaza — through a combination of evacuation orders and intense bombardment — into an enclosed and possibly fenced-off area. Anyone caught outside its boundaries would be killed, and buildings throughout the rest of the enclave would likely be razed to the ground.
Without mincing words, this “humanitarian zone,” as Magal so kindly put it, in which the army intends to corral Gaza’s 2 million residents, can be summed up in just two words: concentration camp. This is not hyperbole; it is simply the most precise definition to help us better understand what we are facing.

The World Food Programme and local organizations were for the first time permitted to distribute flour in Gaza City on 26 June 2025. The relatively smooth distribution that took place with thousands waiting their turn and no reported injuries is a damning indictment of Israel’s militarized GHF scheme. All the evidence gathered, including testimonies which Amnesty International is receiving from victims and witnesses, suggest that the GHF was designed so as to placate international concerns while constituting another tool of Israel’s genocide.
“Not only has the international community failed to stop this genocide, but it has also allowed Israel to constantly reinvent new ways to destroy Palestinian lives in Gaza and trample on their human dignity,” said Agnès Callamard.
The plan describes „large scale“ places where the Palestinian population in Gaza could „temporarily reside, deradicalize, re-integrate and prepare to relocate if they wish to do so“.
A slide deck seen by Reuters goes into detail about these Humanitarian Transit Areas, and how they would be used to „gain trust with the local population“ and facilitate Trump‘s „vision for Gaza“.
In February, Trump said that the US should „take over“ Gaza and rebuild it as the „Riviera of the Middle East“, after ethnically cleansing the population outside of the territory.
A controversial U.S.-backed aid group proposed building camps called “Humanitarian Transit Areas” inside – and possibly outside – Gaza to house the Palestinian population, according to a proposal reviewed by Reuters, outlining its vision of „replacing Hamas‘ control over the population in Gaza.“
The $2 billion plan, created sometime after February 11 for the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, or GHF, was submitted to the Trump administration and recently discussed in the White House, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The deal resembles a similar one proposed by Israel and the U.S. earlier this year. Israel and Hamas had agreed on a ceasefire that took effect just as Trump came into office in January, and lasted until Israel renewed attacks in Gaza in March, and stopped all aid from entering the besieged coastal enclave. Food deliveries only resumed in late May under tight Israeli control in a system that the U.N. — which used to run aid deliveries — has called „death traps“ for Palestinians trying to access the handout sites.
