Lebanon’s death toll surpasses 4,000 after 83 killed on Friday
Lebanon‘s health ministry said on Saturday that Israeli attacks since 2 March have killed more than 4,000 people, including 135 health and emergency workers, and wounded 12,121 others.
The latest figures came after the final death toll from Israeli strikes on Friday rose to 83, with 141 wounded.

NNA – The Ministry of Public Health‘s Emergency Operations Center issued a statement on Saturday, announcing that the intense Israeli airstrikes on June 19 resulted in a final toll of 83 martyrs and 141 wounded, as follows:
Iran closes Strait of Hormuz after US-Israeli violations of MoU
The statement added that the Israeli attacks have led to “brutal killings and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of oppressed people” in southern Lebanon, adding that the Israeli regime has also failed to withdraw its forces from those territories.
The military command said that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is the first step in response to the breach of commitments under the MoU by the US and its allies, adding that Iran will adopt further measures to compel the enemy to fulfill its obligations.

Iran’s military command said it will close the Strait of Hormuz due to Israel’s “ongoing” violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon and the United States “failing to implement” the first clause of the tentative agreement to end the war, Iranian state media reported on Saturday.
“In view of the United States’ bad faith and its clear breach of its commitments by failing to implement the first article of the memorandum ending the war, and in response to the continuous and ongoing violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime in southern Lebanon… It hereby announces that the Strait of Hormuz will be closed to the passage of vessels,” Iran’s top joint military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said in a statement that was reported by state broadcaster IRIB.

Civil Defense General Directorate announced that its teams from various centers across the Nabatieh regional district have been conducting evacuation, rescue, and medical transport operations since the morning in response to ongoing attacks targeting the area.
According to an official statement, Civil Defense personnel evacuated 47 residents to safer locations and transported 16 martyrs and 12 injured to hospitals.

Israeli airstrikes and shelling target Southern Lebanon

NNA – Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on the Jbour area in Kfarhouna, in the Jezzine district.
Israeli fighter jets also struck the town of Barish in the Tyre district, while another airstrike targeted the town of Borj Qalaouiyeh, coinciding with intensive drone activity over the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces opened machine-gun fire toward the outskirts of Al-Mansouri, and the outskirts of Majdal Zoun came under artillery shelling.
In a separate attack, an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike on the town of Deir Qanoun Ras Al-Ain.
