Brexiteers Have Called A Christmas Truce With Theresa May. Here‘s Why.
A number of Leave MPs are indicating they could climb down on their opposition to the withdrawal deal. They are susceptible to arguments by the PM that hers is the hardest form of Brexit they are likely to get, and that voting down her deal risks no Brexit at all.
This group first made its presence felt on Monday in the Commons where several Tory MPs who previously rejected the withdrawal agreement suggested they could vote for it in January.
Corbyn’s Confidence Chaos
The net effect is that something that was meant to be an embarrassment for the Government has completely backfired and embarrassed Corbyn instead. He remains unwilling to table a full vote of no confidence in the Government until he thinks he can win it, so they are simply sitting back and calling his bluff. Corbyn is afraid of being forced into backing a second referendum if he tables a full confidence vote and loses. Particularly with the Blairites spying it as a potential opportunity to finally jump ship and turn the People’s Vote campaign into their new third party…

Jeremy Corbyn‘s no confidence vote bid backfires as Labour‘s Brexit policy is branded a ‚pantomime‘
Jeremy Corbyn was today accused of turning Labour’s Brexit policy into a “pantomime” after he stopped short of triggering a vote of no-confidence in the Government.
The Labour leader was criticised for “pulling punches” and of allegedly adopting an “in then out, on then off” approach to such a challenge to the Government which was branded “overdue”.

Exclusive: The secret legal advice on extending Article 50 which ministers believe rules out second referendum
The Government has taken secret legal advice on extending Article 50 which it argues effectively rules out a second referendum, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.
The advice states that Britain will be legally obliged to take part in European Parliament elections in May of next year if it extends Article 50 and subsequently send British MEPs to Brussels.
Theresa May taunts flip-flopping Jeremy Corbyn and challenges him to call full no-confidence vote instead of ‘stunt’
Mr Corbyn threatened to call the vote if Mrs May refused to name a date for Parliament to debate her Brexit deal – only to change his mind after she did set a timetable.
But hours later Mr Corbyn announced that he was tabling his motion after all in farcical scenes – and Mrs May was seen storming out just seconds after he gave his speech.
Last night the PM called the Labour leader’s bluff saying she’d give time for a Commons debate – on the condition it was for full confidence of her Government and not her leadership.
Chris Green MP – „Gavin Barwell is on record after the referendum decision, calling it a racist, divisive decision in a tweet. „Barwell is the problem in heart of No 10 Downing Street. I don’t know what he is doing behind the scene, but he is driving a 2nd referendum,“ #Brexit
Corbyn and his senior adviser Seumas Milne have backed away from putting down a “proper” motion of no confidence in the government because they do not yet want the final apocalyptic battle to begin between Keir Starmer and Unite over a referendum

Investigatory Powers Bill passes through Commons after Labour backs Tory spy law
(7.6.2016) The UK government‘s bid to massively ramp up surveillance of Brits‘ Internet activity has been supported „in principle“ by the Labour party after it claimed that „significant demands“ were met by home secretary Theresa May.
Labour‘s shadow home office minister Keir Starmer told MPs during day one of the report stage of the draft Investigatory Powers Bill that his party had undergone a „constructive engagement“ with the Conservative government, which led to a number of changes within the proposed legislation.
Secret Scottish-based office led infowars attack on Labour and Jeremy Corbyn
On the surface, the cryptically named Institute for Statecraft is a small charity operating from an old Victorian mill in Fife.
But explosive leaked documents passed to the Sunday Mail reveal the organisation’s Integrity Initiative is funded with £2million of Foreign Office cash and run by military intelligence specialists.
The “think tank” is supposed to counter Russian online propaganda by forming “clusters” of friendly journalists and “key influencers” throughout Europe who use social media to hit back against disinformation.
Shocking story about Goverment-funded ‘charity’ run by military intelligence specialists that has used social media to launch attacks on Corbyn and Labour.
