Israeli forces intensify military operations across Gaza
WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out four large-scale demolition operations at dawn on Tuesday, targeting homes and civilian infrastructure in the eastern and northeastern areas of Khan Younis.
Artillery shelling also struck the northwestern areas of Rafah, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward the eastern parts of Khan Younis.
In Gaza City, Israeli forces detonated a booby-trapped robot loaded with a large quantity of explosives, targeting homes in the Tuffah neighborhood in the northeast of the city. This coincided with heavy gunfire from military vehicles and sporadic explosions in the Shuja‘iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods.

Omanâs Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi has expressed support for Iranâs plan to impose âmaritime service feesâ on vessels crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
In an interview with Monte Carlo Doualiya, published by Omanâs Foreign Ministry on Monday, al-Busaidi reaffirmed Muscatâs commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
He clarified that Oman opposes any tolls on transit passage itself. However, the minister drew a clear distinction between transit tolls and legitimate maritime, environmental, and navigational service fees, which can be discussed voluntarily with benefiting states and companies.
Two IRGC Members Martyred in Terror Attack in Western Iran
(Two servicemen of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) have been martyred and two others injured when terrorists opened fire on their home in the Western province of Kermanshah.
The IRGC Public Relations Department for Kermanshah Province announced in a statement on Tuesday morning that armed assailants fired at the door of the residence of the two local members of the force in the border town of Paveh, killing both on the spot.Two others were injured in the terror attack, though no details on their condition were immediately available.

When the Ayatollah Said No to Nukes

A few Iranian sources have previously pointed to a fatwa by the Islamic Republicâs first supreme leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, prohibiting chemical weapons as the explanation for why Iran did not deploy these weapons during the war with Iraq. But no details have ever been made public on when and how Khomeini issued such a fatwa, so it has been ignored for decades.
Now, however, the wartime chief of the Iranian ministry responsible for military procurement has provided an eyewitness account of Khomeiniâs ban not only on chemical weapons, but on nuclear weapons as well. In an interview with me in Tehran in late September, Mohsen Rafighdoost, who served as minister of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) throughout the eight-year war, revealed that he had proposed to Khomeini that Iran begin working on both nuclear and chemical weapons â but was told in two separate meetings that weapons of mass destruction are forbidden by Islam.

President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated Iranâs opposition to nuclear weapons, saying the policy is rooted in âtheological“ beliefs and a religious decree issued by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei banning nuclear arms.
„When the religious leader explicitly states that we will not pursue nuclear weapons, this is a position rooted in theological and jurisprudential beliefs, not a political tactic that can be changed,â Pezeshkian said while speaking during a visit to the northern province of Mazandaran on Thursday, highlighting the fatwa (religious decree) that had been issued by Ayatollah Khamenei forbidding nuclear arms.
German and US top diplomats hold talks on Iran MoU
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has held talks with his American counterpart, Marco Rubio, in Washington, DC, and reaffirmed support for the US-Iran MoU.
In a statement on X, he said the deal was an âimportant stepâ and that âit creates an opportunity for diplomacy in what remains a highly fragile situation.â
He added: âThe priority now is to reach a sustainable solution that ensures safe and free passage through the #StraitOfHormuz and, in particular, addresses Iranâs nuclear programme, which must never again pose a threat.â
