GAZA, April 2, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 50,423, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 114,638 others have been injured.

Medical sources confirmed that of the total casualties, 1,066 civilians have been killed and 2,597 have been injured since March 18, 2025, when the Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement.

Businessman Gil Birger has been questioned by police under caution in the Qatargate scandal, Hebrew media reports, after a gag order on the matter was lifted.

In recordings aired last month, the Israeli businessman based in the Gulf said he transferred money from a Qatar-employed US lobbyist to a top aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
